The fact that they just died because so many people hated them for basically claiming to be Evanescence but better was a real shame. As someone who has been a huge fan of Evanescence for over 20 years I can say this album was INCREDIBLE. They simply aren't Evanescence but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy more music that is a similar style. I wish they kept making music.
Her technique is quite good. And it's a lot more natural when she sings. Her breath support is good, too. I think her voice sounds warmer because of that.
This siunds awesome acoustic, Carly' voice is so strong and clear, she shouldn't be compared to anyone as she's just doing her thing and what suits her voice, not many artists today can sing that well acousticly!
Most likely, there will be no second album "We Are The Fallen" at all. I believe that the former members of" Evanescence " created this band to show Amy that they can exist and successfully make music without her. This was their main goal and they achieved it. There is nowhere to go further, there are no new ideas. So there is no point in hoping for anything, since the main mission of this project is completed.

If I write a instrumental song and my vocalist in my band writes lyrics for it, he owns the lyrics, I own the riffs. if I leave my band and start another one I can use anything I wrote with the first band with the new one.

I adore the way Carly sounds live. I adore the way she sounds on cd. Basically I love her voice whether it's live or not. I love the fact that the rest of the band members all play guitar. It makes Rocky that much cooler. I love the acoustic versions of WATF songs and yes, I have to say I love acoustics of Ev as well considering they have been my favorite band for a very long time. Carly looks so gorgeous in this video. People need to stop harassing her and trashing her.

Arch Nemesis It's true that the success of The Open Door didn't quite match the success of fallen but I *personally* think that, The Open Door rocks. That's why it spend weeks on #1 on the billboard. But the only thing I'm not sure about is the third album *Evanescence* Anyways, Amy Lee wants to do artistic things, different from her other music. I know that for example Call Me When You're Sober from The Open Door was nothing comparing it to Bring Me To Life and Going Under from Fallen. But things have to move on. Amy don't want to do the same shit all over again. I will be a true fan forever - who knows what's in the future of Evanescence? :) P.S. Terry Balsamo left the band and was replaced by Jen Majura.

I love this band, too bad i got into them a night right after they came to play to my city, i can't beleive i missed it because in less than two days they turned out to be one of my favorite bands.
