    Nice video. FYI, You don’t have to use their perch clamps. I used OEM perch clamps from Amazon $34 . Thrashin cost about $150. I did the whole set up on my RG for $1725 with tax.

      Awesome! I liked the way theirs looked on the bars, so I didnt mind spending extra for it. Do you have a link for the ones you bought? Just for future reference.

    Fyi i changed out my thrashin bars for some aluminium ODI v twin bars. This help a hell of a lot with the vibration. The steel bars imo do transfer alot of vibrations. I do run the 1inch extension also.
    Cant wait to get the top tree and guage relocation done.
    Ride safe mate.

      Thanks for watching! Did you swap out the risers too? Or just the bars?

    • @TheCuttz1984

      @@Six5Rider No. I kept the thrashin risers. ATM it is perfect however when I do install the top tree like you I may have to get another set to keep the height correct.
      I also use the perch clamps.i tried 2 thrashin bars. To try and get the height I was after. then tried the ODI bars. And absolutely love the current setup.
      The ODI bar is available in the 1inch thick size that the thrashin risers and stock Harley clamp use.

    That set up looks awesome, im curious on where / how all the nacelle wiring went, was it difficult, etc., cause others have left the empty gauge nacelle on, anyway, great job on the install, clean A,F.

      thank you, I basically opened up the outer fairing, removed the headlight and brought wiring harness into the fairing and ziptied everything in there, reinstalled the headlight and closed up everything. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any more questions.

    How’s your view of the display? Thinking about doing this as well but want full view of my gauges and display.

    • @Six5Rider
      @Six5Rider  9 месяцев назад

      Sorry for the late reply. I can see the gauges clearly 100% as for the display, I can see everything except for the bottom corners which doesn’t really bother me much!

      @@Bamhour you got it! I’m 6’5 and this setup is like 90% perfect for me. If I could have gone another 1” taller it would have been 100%.
      Still, no complaints here.

    I’m in a market for these, I’m 5’ 9” so you think a 9 1/2 pull back with a midbend bar would be proper ?

    • @Six5Rider
      @Six5Rider  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for watching. Yes, I think that would be perfect for you. And if you ever need a little boost you can always purchase the 1/2 inch riser extension to make it 14” instead of 13.5”

      Yeah the price is definitely steep. Unfortunately options are limited as even the competitors have a similar price for the good quality pieces.

    The actual contact space on Thrashin Risers is inferior. Kraus is much better.

      Yeah since there are no bushings I expected “some” vibration. But I have a feeling mine might actually be a tire related issue.
      We shall see
