Thanks for watching. I would not have saved much because I would’ve still changed everything on the bike except for the parts you named which is why I purchased a standard. The lowers and tour pack cost me under $500 combined.

So so right on you nailed it bro! I’ve been there especially with the windshield. What May look kool in a catalog doesn’t always fit the theme of your bike. I always waste money on the quick detachable tour pack kit. I’ve done so for every bagger I’ve owned. Such a waste of money because I never take my tour packs off.
I 68 and ride everyday that the weather is good. About 10-12K per year or more. I quit spending money on chrome a long time ago. I put some slip on screaming eagle pipes that were used for $100. Other than that I just ride it.

If you buy a new Harley when you're done making your deal tell them they have to throw in a helmet that you've picked out I've bought 8 Harley's and I have a helmet for everyone I've bought
I've been riding for years. I watched this because I was really curious what you were going to say about wasting money. Lololololol... I know, I know, I've done the same things...
I put lowers and a king tourpak with the small backrest on my bike as well and they ain't never coming off LOL! I had a chopped pak on my last bike they suck. You can't put much in them including a full face helmet. People think the razors and chopped look better. It's a box on the back of your bike!! You might as well make it as useful as possible. I tell all new riders to ride for a while before making any changes. You may think you want 1 thing but a month later you realize you want something else
I went with the Sedici Sistema for when I want a full face. Love that helmet. Most comfortable full I’ve ever owned with good ventilation which is where so many fulls fail. Do yourself a favor and get the transition face shield too. Dark in sun and clear at night.
Just bought the same one last week (from a 2nd generation East Bay Dragon patch holder at that) and really like it. Avoid those damn German Shuberths! Way over priced, noisy, and coms don't fit inside for anything.
I just got a 2009 street glide for a smoking deal. Been riding motocross my whole life. Love the bell helmets but i said screw it imma buy the sedici strada 2 and got me a blue and silver mirror visor. Love the helmet just doesnt have enough ventilation lol. Im about to get some thrashin t bars and hook it up. Love your bike man and that color setup is fresh

2 year new rider , I've bought 5 helmets, I changed the bars, windshield, handgrips, rear suspension, quick release tour pack , clutch and break handles , tall man seat , and sissy bar . I've got the 2016 Road Glide Ultra in vivid black with Chrome . You gave me a good idea to powder coat the chrome parts instead of spraying them or buying them done in black and spending more money Good video man .
Powered coating is way better. My bike was all chrome when I got it. I have one more part to do that’s chrome on my bike. Congrats on your 2 years of riding.
The handlebars can stay on the bike when selling, the process of taking the wires out of the connector, fishing the wires in the bars and getting them back into the correct place and reconnecting is very tedious.
