I also did the Thrashin supply set up on my 19 Road Glide. I did the thrashing pull back plate with the 6.5 pull back risers and high bend bars and absolutely love the set up.

Cool video I’m 19 and I ride sport bikes and I’ve been riding my dad road glide and now I’m in love with it I’m gonna get one upcoming months n was researching bars and this gave me all I need👍
Couple of questions. How tall are you? What is preventing the use of the fork lock? Are the wires in the way, or is there some other reason that I'm not seeing? I really like this set-up but want as much info as I can get before putting out that much cash. Thanks
I'm 5'7" and the risers are preventing me from using the fork lock. You can always go to the dealer and ask them to set up the bike like a CVO... You only need a key fob to start the bike and no fork lock... And the wiring actually runs alongside of one of the riser stems... For more info you can go to the thrashin supply RUclips page and they have a whole install video for it. If you like this setup also look into the Kraus T bar setup Moonshine Harleydavidson has a great video. They explain it alot better.. Thanks for watching
You say they compare to 11-12” apes, so why did you chose these bars that require so many more parts; lose switch functions and block gauges? What are their advantages over apes?
The motorcycle handles alot better... Now I'm not going to be riding my road glide like a dirt bike or sport bike but I feel like I have more control and it feels stable at higher speeds in turns... Plus it looks cool haha thanks for watching!
Thanks for an awesome video. I've been thinking about doing a t-bar setup myself I also have a road glide. I'm wondering if you have noticed any difference in the vibration from the stock bars comparison to the T-bar setup you have now
I have been thinking about it but I’m so use to the setup already. I don’t care if I can see my gauges or not lol I would rather spend that money on something else. Thanks for watching
I'm considering the digital set up that replace the top clamp. I think it's used on the street bob. Gives all the info you lost in a clean small package plus you loose the bulky gauges
Were you not able to turn your Road Glide on with the key switch at all or was it just the fork lock that wouldn’t work. I am getting ready to install the exacts same set up from Thrashin Supply on my 19RGS and was wondering if I need to have the bike flashes before I install them?. I am doing the install myself. I just don’t want tip find out the hard way.
I want these bars for my RGS and don’t want to lose any function like the fork lock but sitting here thinking I never use the fork lock so is it really that big of a deal?!?!
I also never use my fork lock. I was thinking about going to the dealer and just flashing my bike and making it keyless like a CVO... Also if you're worried about the gauges Arlen Ness makes a t-bar set up where they relocate the gauges to The handlebar or a kraus setup does the same thing... Thanks for watching
@@HudsonMoto i saw it. It does not look good for me unfortunately. But maybe still the best solution in the market. Too complicated kit and too expensive! Specially if you are living overseas and u cannot get exactly what suits your height and seat position. Enjoy it
These look so good from off the bike but I would hate to not see my gauges. I plan on doing to bung king risers on my 2017 RG Ultra.... I haven't seen an old man ultra with "T-bars" yet 😈

Almost a 30,000 motorcycle and you can't see your gauges you can't lock your steering wheel and no accessory option, I wouldn't want that handlebar setup.

Yes, it's an awesome setup! Thank you for watching and commenting on my video!
Can you see the gauges with the pullback riser?
I heard with the pull back 6 in thrashin risers you can see them better then the straight risers
Did all your cables reach?
Yes

Looks good Bro, the best review on bars as far as mentioning how the handling improved. I’m getting 14s and legends front and rear
Thanks for watching! Yeah that's my next thing to purchase is suspension... I'm either going with the legends or ohlins
Looks great. Nice edits. I'm subbed!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it
It’s look’n great. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you for watching! I appreciate it
You should check out the gauge relocation from Big Bear choppers.
Thanks for watching.... I'll check them out thanks!
This set up is fire!!!!!
Thank you!
The 6.5 kit would allow you to see your gauges, easy swap since you’ve already cut out the gauge cluster...
6.5” pull back thrashin risers and high bend bars 5.5” ?
I came here from the Discord. This set up looks great 👍🏼. Love the edit and music also
Thank you I appreciate it!

Get their new RG gauge relocation. You will be able to see it perfectly with that setup. I have the top tree, 9.5” pullbacks, mid bend bars

The motorcycle you are using is 6.5 ”pull back Thrashin risers and high bend bars 5.5” right!
Not pullback. Even they're straight risers have an angled mount, but it doesn't pull back really
Where did you get the half perch clamps? I know thrashing supply offers them but yours look like different ones.
I got everything from Get Lowered Cycles...They also installed everything for me. Thanks for watching!
Did you have to extend your brake and clutch cables ?
No I did not.. all the stock cables...
@@HudsonMoto right on ! I’m not too far from you I just moved to Allentown Pa
Great Video 👍🏼 how’s that seat holding up should do an update on it
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it! The seat is holding up well still supportive and still comfortable...

I’m 5’7… My bars are equivalent to a 12 inch set up.

How much was this setup? I’m looking to do the same thing just curious what they charged you to install it

Yes, thanks for watching
@@HudsonMoto What method did you use to pop out the bushings?
So to clarify you can’t lock the steering with this setup?
No I can't not lock the handle bars because the risers get in the way

Not really... I can see 30mph and above and 2000rpm and above... Thanks for watching!

how many inches tall are the high bend bars?
