I'm surprised you didn't give Pyro Nautilus 47 especially since Nautilus has pretty high dps, shorter range, can hold its charge, and its even based off of a bunsen burner. Even the gear I picked out for my Nautilus build is supposed to resemble Pyro.

I honestly thought that you'd give medic ink vac because of the fact that you can actually make your teammates invincible if you just aim the vacuum at them

honestly a great job with all of them!! especially scouts I completely forgot about fizzy, and kraken was a good call :3 honestly though I feel like demo fits slosher or machine more because of him having a playstyle that usually revolves around arcing explosives over walls
I feel like inkbrush might be a better weapon for scout. You move a lot longer and further with a brush roll than dapple rolls. And brushes can also immediately get back in with the aforementioned speed. When I think of an annoying weapon that can jump me out of nowhere, it'd be the ink brush. And it'd also be a good pair with the fizzy for special building.
For soldier I was thinking zip caster due to the rocket jump I would have also given demo the explosh and giving engi cooler to represent the dispensers and I would have given medic vac if it was good. And finally for spy would have gone for stamp as I always seem to get jump scared by it.
Great video! These are super fun kit ideas, I’d definitely main the Heavy’s Splatling if it made it into the game. I totally feel you for having trouble making a definitive spy kit, an idea I had would be Spy having the Tacticooler, since it’s quick respawn emulates the Dead Ringer’s play style of feigning death. Like I said, great vid!
New to the channel, recently got into TF2 and I'm liking the ideas here, curious as to why Heavy didn't get the Hydra though, I'd say it fits him quite nicely with its high range and reduced movement speed. Same also applies to ELiter and Sniper but I understand that one a bit better
I don’t know if the Heavy Edit Splatling was out at the time of this video’s upload, but I thought that would have also been a good pick for Heavy as well. Not just for damage but also for the unholy fire rate.
I'll offer my own thoughts. Scout: Dapple Dualies was a much better option than I thought of myself, My first thought was a Luna Blaster to represent the fact that scout relies heavily on close range meat-shots to kill, but I realize that fits other classes better. For a sub and special I'm thinking Torpedo and Tacticooler. Tacticooler works slightly better as a Bonk/Crit-a-Cola alternative than Fizzy Bomb since you actually drink it, and it gives you move-speed akin to Scout. As well as the ability that you'll die with absolutely 0 penalty which isn't quite the same as invincibility but is as close as you can get. Soldier: I would've gone for Normal Blaster over Range Blaster since I think of soldier as more of a close to mid range threat than a mid to long range threat. Damage Falloff is a bitch. And I'll agree that yea, Splat Bomb and Inkzooka work perfectly for this. Pyro: Feel like I'm choosing way too many blasters already, but I think a Pyro's Pick Clash Blaster, since it works pretty well as a W+M1 situation. I think Burst Bomb works better than Angle Marker as a combo tool that can take advantage of Clash having relatively low damage while also covering Mobility like a Detonator or Scorch Shot. And I 100% agree with the use of Ink Vac as a special. Someone Else also mentioned Nautilus as a possibility. Demoman: The choice of Rapid Blaster is a pretty good one to serve as a similar but different role from Soldier's range or base blaster. though some comments have noted Explosher as an alternative. Ink Mine also works well, though a good alternative for sticky bombs are Suction Bombs for a much more short lived "Trap" that can be dangerous enough to completely wall someone out of an area for a few seconds. And Super Chump works just as well for the same reason, Area Denial Through Copious Explosives. Heavy: I agree with the use of the Heavy Splatling and the Splash Wall since splash wall is basically as close to a tanking sub as you can get. I'm personally tempted to say that Crab Tank works well as yet another way to just turn you into an impenetrable brick wall, though I realize you avoided that to give crab tank to Engineer instead later. Also tempted to ask whether Heavy or Hydra is better for this option. Engineer: N-Zap is one of my favorite weapons so I support this option. And honestly I think Vanilla N-Zap is the closest thing to an engineer the vanilla game has as a dispenser. But also DANK-DANK. Medic: I think your choices worked GREAT. Though I wanted to give an alternative anyway for the funsies. Reef-Lux with Torpedo and Tacticooler could make for a more aggressive version of the same idea. Sniper: I would've gone for E-Liter Scoped over Splatterscope just to absolutely double down on it's stupid range. Toxic Mist as a Jarate makes perfect sense. And I think Tenta Missiles works pretty well like you said as a divisive special and that global range can help you do Information Gathering (And also, E-Liter's ink coverage isn't great so it's not going to be able to spam missiles much anyway) Spy: Can agree with Splatana, but I'd go for Splatana Wiper due to the fact that its charge is relatively quiet, making it easier to sneak up on people. Point Sensor is a bit more Sapper-Ish so I'll go for point censor. and Zipcaster works great just as much.
I wasn't expecting dapples for scout, usually when i think scout in splatoon i think inkbrush. Rush in, murder someone in half a second and get out. Or rush in and die horribly because someone was sharking. Either one. As for the sub and special for inkbrush kit scout.. Fizzy bomb and tacticooler. It just makes sense. These kits were pretty solid! Stringer for medic caught me off guard though, as did splatana spy, but given the weapon choicez we've got in splatoon 3 currently, these are pretty good!
For your designing specials video you should probably try making one with a spiral pattern (like the patterns inkstrike, splashdown, booyah bomb and tri strike have) since splatoon devs really love having one special with that sort of pattern.
i think inkjet actually wouldve fit for soldiers special much better, its an explosive weapon that also puts you high up in the air. its like a rocket jumping soldier !
the way i just made myself a pyro themed gear set yesterday and was messing around with it and then just saw this video today 😭 i’m at the pyro part of the video now and i’ve paused to state what my pyro gear was before finding out yours- i gave them aerospray and put on the gas mask, the basic grizzco shirt, and the default moonboots (i wanted to wear the punk nights because i thought they worked better but they made the pants look awkward 😭) edit: oh the roller is so smart !!! that’s a great kit idea i didn’t think to focus more on playstyle than looks. i mostly picked aerospray because i thought it looked closest to a flamethrower haha
I would say that bloblober would have been a better pick for demo. Bouncing, arcing projectiles feels more demo than a straight flying projectile. Especially with how the grenade launcher and the bloblober benefit greatly from being spammed. Also, demoknight. Demoknight would likely have to be splatana wiper, [data expunged], and zipcaster or reef slider. Something Something, Hyland charge. Oh, and an alternate primary for medic. The tent. The canopy is similar to the medic shield in MvM and the deceptively long range and high damage on the shot is similar to the crusaders crossbow. Also, I love how one if the TF2 fonts always ends up being used in anything relating to TF2. Good one on that. Also, if you want to be able to upload stuff TF2 related without the video taking, just upload more Splatoon X TF2 videos like this one. The more TF2 your audience sees the more likely they are to watch TF2 content from you. Also, TF2 and Splatoon have a lot of overlap when it comes to their audiences. So you honestly shouldn't have any problems uploading TF2 content regardless.
7:39 I find it interesting you chose to use the Buffalo steak sandvich visual to represent lunchbox items, considering it's the only one that doesn't heal you.
I like a lot of these but I think its missed potential that scout doesn't have zipcaster. A highly mobile special vertically and horizontally that is very annoying to kill if used well, even if it doesn't kill you it always forces you to dedicate some attention to it. Also the closest thing we have to emulating scout's double jump, and mobility is enhanced *even more* since you gave scout dapple dualies. I think scout's kit should just lean insanely hard into mobility (which fizzy also does)
In TF2, there's a PvE mode called Mann vs Machine. There was an update that buffs specifically medics in that mode which gave them a shield in front of them. Which is very useful because some bots are stacked with 100% crit rates which could kill almost anyone in just 1 shot, with no reloading whatsoever... The shield you gave to his weapon made me think of that more than ubercharge.
This video is absolutely fantastic :D Although for me personally, I would give demoman the kraken royal It would represent demoknight, getting rid of all your range and fire power to instead be a menace at close range
yo I think I just stumbled upon poosibly the coolest splatoon video concept on youtube! you should totally make this a series^^ also, say it with me: FIX THE SPLATOON 1 SERVERS NINTENDO!
ohhh i have been thinking about this for a while! i always thought the inkbrush would fit scout pretty well, but dualies are pretty good too thanks to the dodge-rolling. its one of those two for him, really haha. for spy, personally id give him the splatana wiper. its lower on the damage side but ive been surprised by a LOT of splatana wiper users many times, i feel like it fits him more. i think the splatana stamper would definitely be the one for demoknight, though
amazing video personally I think suction bombs world fit Demo's kit too considering the "sticky spam" Demo is also know for and the fact the his sticky bombs, well, stick. same for heavy and the crab tank, heavy's role is to be a big slow deadly damage sponge, all things the crab tank is but overall some very nice concepts
This is how you give a constructive response. I appreciate it, and also agree, some of the things I didn't think of is a bit embarrassing lol. Happens.
The TF Community (Division of TF Industries) thanks you for your help to maintain the game alive. We appreciate every possible way of keeping this timeless masterpiece what it is by creating content of every type. We really hope that a Major Update will be published before the end of the decade and we invite everyone to play the game hoping that someday, after almost 16 years, we will see the game rise up again. And remember if you have a problem use a gun and if that doesn't work use more gun.
i think big bubbler is a great choice for medic, especially since in mann vs machine, he has a shield upgrade that upon use, can spawn a shield infront of the medic and follow his camera movement for his team that blocks bullets and whatnot.
Tbh for medic I was thinking tenta brella, ink vac and... maybe suction bomb for support? I understand that the stringer kinda looks like the needle gun thing (I dont play tf2 but my brother does so I know that I guess) torpedo and big bubbler are nice but not a very good pick in my opinion.
Everyone's already mentioned explosher for demoman, so I'd like to come in and say rapid blaster (maybe pro) should be soldier's weapon. The fire rate of the rapids feels closer to a tf2 rocket launcher, and the damage feels more in-line, too. Most tf2 classes die to a direct + indirect rocket hit (at the soldier's most effective ranges, at least), a single direct is very rarely enough to kill. Just like rapid blaster.
honestly for soldier I think burst bomb would be the most fitting. Soldier is known for his iconic rocket jump, and while there isn't really anything close to it, a burst bomb would increase his mobility in a way which makes it feel close enough
This video only has reminded me of my NEED for a flamethrower like weapon, make it like, rolling up a toothpaste tube idk. Sure it’d be a splatling mixed with a slosher but it’d be so fun to use
I personally think the explosher would be a much better fit on demoman, since it lobs explosive projectiles, and while trizoka is a good special for soldier, I think ink jet fits a bit better, channeling soldiers ability to rocket jump, as well as the attack being the closest to tf2s rocket launchers in the game. Great vid though!
also i found something that i recently discovered if you use the stamp sword with a beacon sub and a jetpack ability along with the power armor set congrats you now able to serve under the emperor or go chaos chanting skulls for the skull throne, blood for the blood god for every splat you get but hey its the "grim darkness of the far future"
10:35, I OBJECT! I would rather say that the ink vac would be more closer to an Uber charge, it protects teammates by sucking the ink back, leaving your teammates invulnerable, or if you play man vs machine, it may work as man vs machine shield.
Personally i would give pyro a burst bomb big swig. Burst for combo pyro like using the panic attack and the degreaser and big swig to mirror Pyro’s bullshit brain dead holding W play style with its huge hitbox and ink coverage.
Demoknight is getting the Splatana Wiper, it's a Sword and that's the point of Demoknight. It's faster swinging also makes it the better choice in the context of Demoknights, who charge up to you and slash away. Speaking of charging, the special is Reefslider. No contest. The sub weapon is a hard one to think of. You need a shield to be a Demoknight, so you have no stickies, which means no Ink Mine. I feel like Burst or Splat Bomb could fit into Hybridknight, where you keep the Grenade Launcher. Splat Bomb could work for Stock and the Iron Bomber, while Burst Bomb would better fit the Loch-n-load and Loose Cannon.
Ink vac: special best used on a teammate to make them nearly invincible while they go in and get kills Ubercharge: special best used on a teammate to make them invincible while they get kills
W+m1 works because people dont pay attention, since if they did they would be able to instantly kill this pyro, so i guess the rolles fits the pyro if we talk Phlogistinator pyros and buckets any other playstyle including pybro, flank pyro and defense pyro
This video made me want to try playing Scout. I'm already a splatoon scout build haver: rushing with dualies, getting a few kills, dying, but I have super fast respawn gear and Assume the other team Doesn't
I know that yes, THEMATICALLY, the Heavy Splatling is the most fitting weapon for Heavy (or the Hydra and we just call it his Brass Beast) but, I gotta be honest. In terms of gameplay? I think a more fitting weapon is not most peoples first, second, or even third choice. The Glooga Dualies. I KNOW it sounds insane to give a weapon with a mobility mechanic to the class that is known for having terrible mobility; but hear me out. The Gloogas, being a dualie that put a lot of emphasis on needing to be in turret mode to be an effective weapon, means you spend a LOT of time in fights being completely still. You also get stuck in place for awhile after using your second roll, so you have to stay true to your aim and kill the enemy gamer before they kill you. Because your damage output is REALLY HIGH, but you're completely stationary to use it so you're not gonna be dodging anything, no matter what the "dodge roll" may imply. Also Heavy is pretty bad at range, getting out-DM'd at mid range by soldier, demo, generally having trouble securing kills against anything that isn't near him. Not really something that applies to Splatoon's splatlings (except that both splatlings and Heavy get crushed trying to fight a sniper). If you just think of the dodge roll as jumping into a rev, and turret mode as being revved, it actually fits surprisingly well.
Really nice video if I had to say anything I feel like demo should have had exsplosher it can lob shots like a grenade and has good object damage perfect for a demolition guy
I was honestly thinking an Aerospray for Medic, to be honest. And then for subs... maybe that poisonous cloud and then we could do Ink Vac to simulate the Uber Charge.
Sandvich 7:07 I feel like those 4 Snipers who have atleast 20k Hours on the class and have won 7 Big TF2 Tournaments have something to say about Heavy surviving very long lol
I feel like suction bombs would work well with the Demoman. They're not remote detonated, but they can be placed pretty much anywhere, ESPECIALLY places not seen by common views.

And I think Tenta Missiles works pretty well like you said as a divisive special and that global range can help you do Information Gathering (And also, E-Liter's ink coverage isn't great so it's not going to be able to spam missiles much anyway)
Spy: Can agree with Splatana, but I'd go for Splatana Wiper due to the fact that its charge is relatively quiet, making it easier to sneak up on people.
Stringer for medic caught me off guard though, as did splatana spy, but given the weapon choicez we've got in splatoon 3 currently, these are pretty good!
pyro would definitely use a tri-slosher imo
and i feel demoman would love explosher
Sploosh:
These are two of the best games of all time
For your designing specials video you should probably try making one with a spiral pattern (like the patterns inkstrike, splashdown, booyah bomb and tri strike have) since splatoon devs really love having one special with that sort of pattern.
I feel like the demo man with the explosher would be a good pair
Yea! Works kinda like grenade launchee but also like loose cannon! Double donks are kinda like hitting both hitboxes and doing 90 with explo
cant believe you didnt think crab tank for heavy. big bulky HP special that does a shit ton of damage! it fits perfectly!
I loved this! I think I would love to use Spy’s kit :D It is very cool how well thought out this video is!
i think inkjet actually wouldve fit for soldiers special much better, its an explosive weapon that also puts you high up in the air. its like a rocket jumping soldier !
TF2 a game that never dies
the way i just made myself a pyro themed gear set yesterday and was messing around with it and then just saw this video today 😭 i’m at the pyro part of the video now and i’ve paused to state what my pyro gear was before finding out yours- i gave them aerospray and put on the gas mask, the basic grizzco shirt, and the default moonboots (i wanted to wear the punk nights because i thought they worked better but they made the pants look awkward 😭)
edit: oh the roller is so smart !!! that’s a great kit idea i didn’t think to focus more on playstyle than looks. i mostly picked aerospray because i thought it looked closest to a flamethrower haha
I've legit been waiting for someone to make a video like this since Splatoon 2, thank you for your work o7
7:39 I find it interesting you chose to use the Buffalo steak sandvich visual to represent lunchbox items, considering it's the only one that doesn't heal you.
Crap did I really do that😅 welp, we'll pretend I was talking about buffs or something.
I am pleased to inform you that the algorithm has shown your video to the TF2 community!
MUHAHAHA! I have infiltrated successfully. Now for the two hour shortstop video.
Also the shield bash in MvM is similar to big bubbler, only thing that is missing is the damage output
garden plays tf2, nice!
I call it the fuck
We've known that for some tine
Your music choices in this video were very good
I like a lot of these but I think its missed potential that scout doesn't have zipcaster.
This video is absolutely fantastic :D
Although for me personally, I would give demoman the kraken royal
It would represent demoknight, getting rid of all your range and fire power to instead be a menace at close range
I thought about it funny enough, but decided I wanted to do subclasses on their own at some point, as a fun way to do a follow-up video 🤗
@@GardenAsada sequel confirmed
Let’s goooo
2 of my favorite games in one video? yes please!
yo I think I just stumbled upon poosibly the coolest splatoon video concept on youtube! you should totally make this a series^^
also, say it with me: FIX THE SPLATOON 1 SERVERS NINTENDO!
I remember thinking up a Splatling like gun for Heavy. was fun
When your gauging how well a video can do on your channel
You know it's a really good sign when the algorithm picks it up
ohhh i have been thinking about this for a while! i always thought the inkbrush would fit scout pretty well, but dualies are pretty good too thanks to the dodge-rolling. its one of those two for him, really haha. for spy, personally id give him the splatana wiper. its lower on the damage side but ive been surprised by a LOT of splatana wiper users many times, i feel like it fits him more. i think the splatana stamper would definitely be the one for demoknight, though
amazing video
personally I think suction bombs world fit Demo's kit too considering the "sticky spam" Demo is also know for and the fact the his sticky bombs, well, stick.
same for heavy and the crab tank, heavy's role is to be a big slow deadly damage sponge, all things the crab tank is
but overall some very nice concepts
This is how you give a constructive response. I appreciate it, and also agree, some of the things I didn't think of is a bit embarrassing lol. Happens.
The TF Community (Division of TF Industries) thanks you for your help to maintain the game alive.
We appreciate every possible way of keeping this timeless masterpiece what it is by creating content of every type.
We really hope that a Major Update will be published before the end of the decade and we invite everyone to play the game hoping that someday, after almost 16 years, we will see the game rise up again.
And remember if you have a problem use a gun and if that doesn't work use more gun.
You have caught the attention of the tf2 masses, and we like your video!
i think big bubbler is a great choice for medic, especially since in mann vs machine, he has a shield upgrade that upon use, can spawn a shield infront of the medic and follow his camera movement for his team that blocks bullets and whatnot.
Splatling +splash wall WAS LIKE A FUCKEN ADAM AND EVE COMBO they worked TOO WELL TOGETHER
Sniper should've been a scoped e-lieter 4k because of range and mimics snipers charge shot
This is exactly what I've been looking for! However, I feel like the bloblobber more closely matches how Demoman's grenade launcher works.
This video only has reminded me of my NEED for a flamethrower like weapon, make it like, rolling up a toothpaste tube idk. Sure it’d be a splatling mixed with a slosher but it’d be so fun to use
Sploosh:
@@theone.whoasked trueeee but I imagine the ink lobbing, having ok range, and it it acting like a reverse ink vac (the suck being switched to blow)
I think this could be made into a sorta "splat fortress " custom mode this most likely will be played on the rank style modes
As an explosher main i'm really surprised you chose not to give demoman explosher, its the closest thing to a grenade launcher in splatoon
also i found something that i recently discovered
if you use the stamp sword with a beacon sub and a jetpack ability
along with the power armor set
congrats you now able to serve under the emperor or go chaos chanting skulls for the skull throne, blood for the blood god for every splat you get
but hey its the "grim darkness of the far future"

Ink vac: special best used on a teammate to make them nearly invincible while they go in and get kills
Ubercharge: special best used on a teammate to make them invincible while they get kills
the special you gave to spy fits soldier more because of how important rocket jumping is to soldier
This is a great video, and I like the creative weapons.
The spys kunai! And spy being a weeb fits the splatana very well!
W+m1 works because people dont pay attention, since if they did they would be able to instantly kill this pyro, so i guess the rolles fits the pyro if we talk Phlogistinator pyros and buckets any other playstyle including pybro, flank pyro and defense pyro
A combination of my favorites
Nah. Soldier would have **BUCKET**
I dunno much about Splatoon but this was still a good watch
Thank you yt god's for showing me underrated af channels
Any chance someone could like me to the music at 3:30. Ik it’s gerudo valley but I wanna know which one or what remix. Thx
Really nice video if I had to say anything I feel like demo should have had exsplosher it can lob shots like a grenade and has good object damage perfect for a demolition guy
Okay, with medic. THE INK VAC WAS RIGHT THERE. It’s literally an Uber charge, making a massive cone of invincibility
I was honestly thinking an Aerospray for Medic, to be honest. And then for subs... maybe that poisonous cloud and then we could do Ink Vac to simulate the Uber Charge.
1:15 Scout
3:08 Soldier
4:13 Pyro
5:34 Demoman
6:29 Heavy
7:51 Engineer
9:23 Medic
10:48 Sniper
11:44 Spy
Sandvich
7:07 I feel like those 4 Snipers who have atleast 20k Hours on the class and have won 7 Big TF2 Tournaments have something to say about Heavy surviving very long lol
Hey, I watch a lot of tf2 content. All I’m gonna say is that if I saw this video, then most of the tf2 community is seeing this video. Congrats.
I feel like suction bombs would work well with the Demoman. They're not remote detonated, but they can be placed pretty much anywhere, ESPECIALLY places not seen by common views.
Imo the lock n load whole make for very fun and unique blaster variant
