No one successfully guarded Kobe. If kobe had a bad game it’s only cause he didn’t make the shots… not cause of the defender. Kobe can literally make any shot under any defense unless you actually block or steal the ball from him…. How many people block or stole the ball from kobe? If you didn’t, then you’re just hoping kobe misses. You got nothing else other than hope

The explosive quickness of anyone in the NBA is unreal, and then you have an NBA superstar, Top 5 of all time like Kobe, it's just superhuman what he can do. It really is the speed factor I think that sets NBA ballers apart from everyone else, they are just so damn fast compared to the rest of the world. Cat quick reflexes, blink and you miss it.

The guy only had the ball in his hands once, got robbed instantly. Never had the chance to play offense against Kobe at all. Then, had to endure 11 straight baskets from one of the best offensive players of all time casually going one-on-one and not even settling for a jump shot, just taking his man to the rack and scoring easily. Never stood a chance. Kobe didn't even play. Didn't jump, didn't back his man too much, didn't really explode off the dribble - any full-strength effort would have endangered his opponent's health. Painful.

That dude needs to learn how to move his feet on defense, keep a low center of gravity, and try to hold his ground with his forearm. His defense was just atrocious. His best bet was to try to force a contested outside shot and do anything possible to get the rebound. I doubt this would have worked, but he has no chance the way he played Kobe.
