Thanks Jacob for including a bit of me in the video - I'm the "super cool neighbor" that crashes the lunch break at the 38:00 mark, wearing my 1960s Civil Defense warden's hard hat which is the same type that Inbred Jed wears, and also the same type that my grandfather wore out in the woods (but his was painted red). I'm holding my late grandfather's Stihl 011 top-handle saw in the video, which he bought new in 1989, 14 years after he retired from the lumber mill in Chehalis (after previously working as a logger for decades).
It was super cool to watch the crew in action - they are every bit as nice and fun to be around in person as they are on film. Your channel is the REAL reality TV for me!
Awesome man thanks so
Much for your comment!!! It was awesome to
Meet you! :)
Hey it was great meeting you, thanks for coming over to say hi!
@@Jordy_01 I wouldn't have missed it - I took the day off so I could get to meet you all. Making a guest-appearance on YT was a bonus as well! Who knows, maybe I will start my own channel someday (I fix almost anything, so I could do some videos of that).
@@redmondjp seriously, you should. Video, edit, and post and you'd be surprised the people that would like to see things fixed so they can try.
Oh yeah. I have something to watch while my wife watches silly Tv shows tonight.
Happy 😊 day
Like the bachelor errrrrr
Damn you nailed that! 🤘
grow some mushrooms and trip out somewhere while she watches her shows
@@MrBumlicker like law and order or wheel uhhhhh fortune
Man seeing Jed in this video with his classic silver hard hat man. He was a real good guy and still is up there.
Jordan's Guitar is WAY higher quality than expected for being buried in the end of the video! 40:03
Definitely gonna have him featured in more episodes! That guy rocks!!
Loved the song, the expert work, the laughter and the fellowship. The best of hard working Americans. Here’s to more sunny days.
wow Jordan is a great singer and guitarist. Loved it
Jordan! OMGRACIOUS!! You’re amazing! Soulful, warm voice and awesome playing!
Welcome William! “Lumber snack!” I love it. 😁 Another awesome job by a great team of multi-talented guys!
Always a plus when Jed is in these vids👍🏻
Jake knows how to treat people. How? He's sincere and a good man.
So I am pushing 60 and you guy's inspire me to keep going. Thank you
Watching Jake and the guys and great Live Music ,Magic
Ugh man. Watching these old videos and seeing Jed... Stay safe out there my fellow climbers.
The drone footage and the guitar at 40 min mark-awesome job
I have a coon named bandit….had him 4yrs…we have alotta black squirrels here in ky…love you boys
I bet the neighbors are much happier now that tree is down, also more sunlight to their homes. Well done all.
Yes more Jordan!
I was talking to an old feller today and he said he loved Jeds sharpening video. Just passing that along as well.
Church Street Blues! YES! Great Episode! I've been waiting all week for a new one. Thanks.
One of your top 5 videos to date... I always learn something and im completely entertained. This time we got a bad ass music performance. Be proud.. Well done to all.
I like the perspective from multiple cameras. Talking into the drone camera is brilliant.
Great video. Really loved lots about it. Especially the wisdom shared and the nice music.
Love the addition of the guitar montages!!
The word you're looking for it "vertically" haha. Love these videos!
Such a very humble company that actually cares for one another! I love watching your videos! Always makes me wanna get out and cut some trees!
Your video just gets BETTER AND BETTER!👍 well done lads, well done indeed!
I had an old Gibson like that one when I was young, (I gave it to my nephew) and I used to call it my "cowboy guitar". Nice guitar.
They're the perfect cowboy guitar! That's so cool. Gifting a fine instrument is so meaningful.
Feels a little like Eastside steppin up on Jake's channel a little...🤠
Jed is my favorite!! “Make a mess over there I’ll clean it up.”
Hey Jed are these size pieces good “Bring em” 😎
One of my favorite videos ever on RUclips. Awesome guy playing acoustic guitar, cuttin trees, cool fan interaction. Making some of the best videos out there. Can't wait to see what you guys post next and how you bounce back!
I have said this about 30 episodes ago...BEST RUclips channel hands down!!! Everything about it is simply top notch. Keep up the great works guys. Most importantly be safe. A huge fan from AZ.
It would be super cool if you come across a removal that is in such a way where you can set up a timelapse camera to show the whole process of the tree removal at the end. Love all of the videos though, been following along religiously :)
Been watching your channel for a while, and have always loved what you guys do. Didn't think you could get any better but adding guitar playing Jordan has put you over the top. He is one smooth picker.
You should check out his IG. Its incredible.
I enjoy this video with a clear explanation and awesome tree felling technique. Thanks for your sharing.
So the Treeson sight is by far the best. You guy's are awesome. Thank you for taking the time to show how to do it right
Hello boys men, you have a great crew. I will stick to logging, like that lumber snack. Thank you for taking the time to video
THANK YOU for leaving the gaff slip in at 3:54. And hitting the fence. Haha. Happens to all of us, most guys are “too cool” and edit it out. Lol. Thank you for showing realistic parts of the job.
One of my favorite parts...real world happenings! We cant all be Marvel superheroes!
That Jed seems like an awesome dude to work with amazing wish I had him with me great job guys all of you
Your running commentary explaing the safe way to lower big chunks of branches is always entertaining and informative for us armchair/computer-desk viewers. Your agility way up there is so impressive too. You'd make monkeys envious.
Great song. Nice playing on a nice guitar. Well done. Thanks. Another great video.
Production quality just goes up and up, I tip my hat to the team and especially to Jake. Good job hoss, great videos of great people doing an awesome job. Props chief 👌
Jacob, Your vlog is doing very well. I think your intense, yet playful and cool personality is one winning ingredient. I find watching you and your guys interesting and quite relaxing, especially since I don't need to be up in the trees with you. Congratulations.
F*ck YES! This is such an amazing video. Enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks Jake and crew!
Rest in peace, Jed. We are going to miss you. 😢
Hi from Queensland Australia.
Love you Guys.
Keep up the good work.
I binge watched your channel this past monday nite and made three pans of apple crisp while listening to you and your saw brothers be yourselves. Hit were fun.
Very well produced and involving video. Loved the music...and that green loader is the bomb!
I enjoy you describing the equipment and how/why a saw cut is done a certain way. Fifty years ago I had a tree business so I really appreciate you advising the people who watch these episodes of the dangers involved. Thank you !!
Always a pleasure when Jed joins the crew for a video! Love it, also pleased you had a good experience with the 201!
Jed is definitely a fan favorite! He's proof you dont need a masters degree to be a genius!
Man I would love to work with these guys so much knowledge and some lunchtime blues hell yeah 😎, awesome nickname lumbersnack
Great to see Jedd with you in this vid Jacob.
An entertaining and educational vid.
Thanks for doing what you do and how you do it!
Thanks :)
20:48 Well shit that looked cool
Really look forward to the uploads.
Thanks man!
These videos keep getting better and better. Having a dedicated camera person makes a huge difference, and I have started looking forward to Jordan's musical interludes in these latest videos. Great job, guys. Stay safe.
Appreciate your feedback! These guys are awesome! Really grateful to have the opportunity to see this in real life!
You guys really leveled up with this video! Extra camera angle and being able to hear everybody was awesome, good job!
Just wait! We mic'd a few more angles that will hopefully impress! Imagine seeing/hearing from the crane angle!
I watch this video again today and just to see Jed man what a wonderful man he was gone to soon but we will see him again one day
Jake, thank you for your great videos. Enjoy watching them. Oh, by the way, Pfanner helmets are made in Austria NOT in Germany. Hello from Switzerland, from a veteran Treeclimber.
A never great video really enjoy watching you guys at work 👍🇬🇧
Great video! Thanks for the tree/trunk anatomy lesson at the end as well!
You guys do good work.
That grapple is amazing. I bet it saves a lot of time and labor.
Thanks for letting him sing his song.
I appreciated the stories the guys told. And the Q & A.
I have a huge infested ash tree which we are going to have removed soon so I wanted to familiarize myself on what goes into taking down a large, difficult tree. A search on RUclips brought me to this channel. Now I’m binge watching it because of just how good your delivery, storytelling, comraderie, videography and editing just keeps pulling me in. Thank you from eastern Pennsylvania.
Love the new style awesome work all you guys!
Thank you! Stay tuned...its about to get even better!
Quite the little production you got going now eh? Nice. I like the green grabby machine too.
Like August, virtually the whole day is about safety and reducing risk. Nice.
Good stuff, living life, being able to enjoy your job =Blessed. Another enjoyable video. 👍God Bless
I absolutely LOVE [& envy a bit, to be honest] that you aren't just working a job!
You're doing something you love & having fun and the bonus is getting paid for it!!!
I think that's why yours & a couple others channels are so good!
Ever since I found one of your videos that helped me get ideas on felling trees and face cuts, I have loved following your channel. I really enjoy how much participation you have with all of your teammates and crew. This episode was awesome with all of the extras, camera work and added music for Jed's piece. Keep up the great job. You also help those of us that do not do this professionally to have great tips to help us be safe.
Outside of some small chainsaw work over the years, I really had not fallen any trees since I was a teenager. The tips you share helped me fell a tree that really needed to come down and to clean up some trees around my property. I still have a lot of work to do and appreciate your ongoing inspiration and help.
Thanks :) I am happy to
Help!
These homeowners are going to need to start paying to spectate lol. Quite the awesome productions you guys have going, plus a free concert. Not bad at all!
This was one of the best ones yet. Keep up the good work. You guys are great
Another great video guys and the Jordan’s guitar segment while dropping the trunk was fantastic! Need more of that please!
Hey Jake. Love the way you take time to explain things to your crew and give them recognition for a job well done. You are a great boss. I think you should introduce us to your crew. Do you always have the same crew with you? Is any of your guys related? Thanks.
You’re totally right, I should totally introduce the guys. We have 5 different crews :)
Great suggestion!
Same here would like to meet the crew
For a few months, I didn’t see your videos in my feed, so I was happy to see this one today, Jake. I love how you talk through everything, explaining as you go like a play by play announcer with a friendly patter. I have done about 15-20 trees myself over the last 15 years, but I’m strictly minor league. Nothing taller than 40 feet and no rigging. Much respect to you and the team. I like the new cameraman, the song at the end, and the Q &A. Kind of like the icing on the cake. Well done!
Another awesome video! Bonus guitar and singer. Very enjoyable, thanks! 👍👍
This is very cool that your Manager's have opted to get a dedicated camera man for the video's. And your editing skills have really improved to the point where you're cutting video and audio, in sequence, between Your view, John's view, and the Drone view. It looks seamless, but it's not as easy as it looks. Much appreciated, great video Jacob!
Thanks man I really appreciate it. We put a lot of work into these videos. John did most of the editing on this one actually. I’ll give him credit in the next video :)
Love the camera work and the multi cams, Keep up the good work!
Awesome job and video, love how you always thinking safety first
Wow, what a production! Serious content you're putting out!
Thanks Jacob. My dad was a tree man for over 40 years. Even after he retired full time at 62, he would take the occasional side job. He finally quit climbing altogether around 67. He passed away at 71. Probably sounds stupid to you, but watching your videos makes me feel closer to him. Stay safe.
I love hearing this!
Jed is my hero. I love his patience. So much experience. 😎👏🏻
Love this video. Amazing tree skills, scary height and rope work, camaraderie, great cinematography, and good music to boot.
Thanks boys for the video I'm very much empress with how your guys cut the tree down boys well done.
This video has got to be one of your best yet. The new angles and commentary and how you explain things to the camera is amazing. I love the birds eye drone footage as you talk to it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Mann if i lived in the PNW id be calling for work too😅 yall seem like a great crew and good company to work for
sing it brotha... well played and perfect for Jed's segment of this vid. Nice work team and thanks for the stellar content. Be safe and keep it up.
Never thought I’d enjoy watching these types of videos but dude! You guys are awesome 😎
Good work buddy. Always fun to see old school climbing and rigging as supposed to using a crane or bucket truck.
Great production quality. Like the music at the end. Tree porn. The best. Keep it up.
Great vid!... great song too Jordan
Awesome tree work, superb film work, and sublime tunes! What more could you want. Always appreciate the content from 7800Km away. Keep up the great work gents! 👌🏼👍🏼 🇯🇪
Jordan has mega talent. Great video.
Production quality justxwent up a notch. Keep that camera man. Excellent improvement / addition!
Thanks! Will do!
That top at 26:20 was executed perfectly. You guys do an amazing job and make it look easy. Stay safe out there brother.
up and downy. love those technical terms.
Great job you are my number-one go-to on RUclips
Jake - What's most important in life is not how much money you make, how big a home you live in or how nice a car you drive. What really matters is how you treat others and other living things. Just watching your vids one can tell you are the perfect example of just that. Please don't ever change. Godspeed good man - Will and the Furry Ones
This comment really warmed my heart, I really appreciate your kind words thank you so much 🙏
@@guiltyoftreesoneastsidetre4792 You've more than earned them. As viewers, we can tell your kindness comes naturally, and is really refreshing. I'm just one of many fascinated viewers watching you pros that have put our thoughts about yours and your team's skills, both physical and mental on the screen.
G’day Jake awesome new footage with the new addition of camera man John, great work fellas, always great content as usual cheers
Church st blues sounded like first tree blues. Choked me up a bit. First independent tree. Getting up there, after saying yes, and feeling way over my head in it. Yet, today, I got myself to where I needed to be. Rigging was pinching on the tree, so didnt get the top down, yet, gosh darn, thanks for the pro tips and tricks. The tree I am on, they have the same fire pit this video really spoke to me. Thank you TreeSon
Jake at 25:19 you literally hop on to trunk with your spurs! "Baller", I really like your channel, content, and presentation. You lead a great crew; that works well together. I'm certain editing takes a lot of time; we can wait. Good job to you and your crew.
The quality and camera work is outstanding!! The new look of the videos are outstanding. You guys should be proud of yourselves! Keep em coming, your saving me money by being able to cancel my cable!
I work a Buckingham! Great to see you using the Climbers
Always love watching you work around a tree, keep it up man!!
Another great job guys. Love watching the channel all the way from the Bahamas 🇧🇸
Fantastic video. Some good rigging there 👌 and some guitar to top it off!
The production is amazing in this video, love this new format! The old school videos are still awesome, big tricky backyard fir is one of my favorites! But this is like a TV program, absolutely awesome!
Thanks :)
