Nice! Like those gloves! I just officially bought my first brand new pair of Everlast open thumb Heavy Bag training gloves with the whole heavy bag set. I was excited but I need some real sparring or boxing gloves for full contact. These look like they would work but are 2.0 for full contact?

Hey, how are your Challenger 2.0 responding to time test and recurring boxing practice? Are they durable or not at all? I just bought my brand new Challenger 2.0 for a starter and am waiting for them to be shipped out so just wanna hear a bit about their durability!

What’s up dude, I really liked you video because i’m doubtful of buy This gloves, and now i know that the venum challlenger 2.0 are comfortable, and looks really nice. But you recommend me buy this gloves if i train an hour and half, five days of the week?

Good video. JUst as a side note for people interested in these, they are not made in Thailand, only designed there. They are actually manufactured in Pakistan. The models starting from Venum Elite are hand made in Thailand. So from what i have read if you have the budget it's better to opt for some elites.

HAve had these gloves for over 4 years, constant use, serious training. Gloves are still holding strong, the "Venum" logo has been stained from use but that is the only visual sign of wear and tear. Unfortunately, I never took the time to take care of these gloves, i.e. Cleaning after each use, so now they are really smelly, and the smell will not go away. 😕 I do however recommend these gloves 100%.

would these be good for sparring for a beginner over the 3.0 ?i want a good pair but not pay a bunch of money maybe 1 week usage rate

  • @jrvasiosk
    @jrvasiosk 6 лет назад +10

Awesome gloves if you get the 3.0 version or above!
Don't get the 2.0! The Glove is amazing and I own a pair of 16 oz exactly equal to the ones in the videos and the elastic part of the strap will wear out to the point than you cant secure your wrists with the velcro!
If you are watching this make sure to get the 3.0 where they fixed it!
Awesome glove for the price, apart from the silly velcro.

Hi Could you make review of Venum Absolute gloves 16oz

  • @santytt123454321

Man I'm looking to buy these gloves and I'm not sure about the size, I'm 138 lbs and I can't buy a pair for sparring and a pair for mittwork, heavybag, etc. So, I'm a man but my hand is a little smaller for my size than it should be, I have used 12 oz and 14 oz everlast gloves and 14 are okay but I think my true size is 12, the thing is i don't think they will let me spar with 12oz gloves, so I think I will have to get 14z ones and use it for everything, but I'm afraid it might be too big for me as I've never used a Venum glove before. Are sizes too different from one brand to another? Which one should I get, thanks in advance man.

The outside of these gloves is okay, but if you are a heavy punchers you will destroy the inner parts. Result : padding will start crumbling. Same with the contender gloves...

Ehhh.... Venum do make some good gear n some good thai shorts... but I'm not a big fan of their quality of anything below 70 since... they don't last I used the same pair n only lasted me for 3 months... n I always take good care of my gear but I did got em at a sale for 25 bucks so I can't really say any hate but me personally I'd say go anything that 70 or above from Venum or get a pair of twins, yokkao, boon, or anything thai gloves you can get, but again not trying to put some hate I'm just saying from experience, much respect to you n for taking care of em for a long time

Hunter Batts Depends how long you've been training, your weight, and if you want them for sparring or bag gloves there are some made for both. I would recommend the RDX series gloves preferably the RDX f14 or the RDX F10 they are good for all around training with a great price and they will be one of your favorite go to pair if you plan on getting more.

IF YOUR SPARING USE 16 OZ IF YOUR HITTING A BAG 12 OZ
ONLY USE BIG GLOVE IF YOUR SPARING WITH HEAD GEAR
SMALL GLOVES ON A BAG FEEL'S BETTER FOR YOUR HANDS
BUT BIG GLOVE ON A BAG FEEL LIKE YOUR HITTING WITH PILLOW'S LOL

I bought venum hand made in thailand about 2 weeks ago. I'm only used this gloves for practice.
Cons imo: The logo on the wrist looks cheap. The pu leather looks cheap too. Verryyy hotttt not enough air came through 3 small holes.
Not comfortable on your fingers because the handgrips are too thick.
