Thanks for watching my videos and supporting this channel! Whether you're background is Boxing, MMA, or traditional Martial Arts, I hope my reviews help give you the answer your looking for to make informed choices. Whether it be needing to purchase new boxing gloves, headgear, footwear, I'll do my best to bring you my honest take on the equipment I'm using. Cheers to your continued support!
You can find these Venum gloves @
www.venum.com/...
MY HAND SIZE FOR REFERENCE
9 1/4 " Wide from side of index finger to side of pinky finger
8" Tall from bottom of palm to top of middle finger
11" Closed Fist Circumference
I used 16 oz Venum Elite gloves for about a year with no problems. I picked them up during a sale and I am happy with my purchase. I recently somehow tore a hole in the inner lining on my right glove, so I am stepping up to the Hayabusa T3's since Hayabusa has a nice bundle sale on their webpage. If you are just getting into boxing, I would recommend the Elite pair especially if you can get them during a sale.
Nice thanks for sharing
Ima get the venum impact even know I just started a week ago in boxing because he said it’s more Secure and I fractured my hand and some time it’s still hurt so 🙃
Im more on a rival gears side. Only bought the impact because of your review and glad I bought it and im loving it.
Right on man glad they worked out
Is the hand compartment big enough for gel wraps?
Thank you so much, I was always wondering
🙏🏼🥊
Great review mate! I got the impact model about a month ago and I love them! good quality for a good price
Thanks! Glad you like the impacts!
I have same boxing gloves and i love it to xD
Still happy with them? How long did they last?
@@George-do9yi yes, still happy👍🏻 i ve been using them for more than 2 years now, mostly for training, pads, bag etc.. decent gloves for a decent price
@@JoeTrd Nice! Glad to hear as i bought a pair on sale a few weeks ago, was a little concerned about their longetivity as i couldnt find a single comment about it anywhere. Thanks for answering!
Thanks for your review man, I just ordered the elites after debating between this and the RDX t17
No prob
Thanks for the review, helped me decide better which gloves i should get after watching quite a few of your vids
Thanks 🙏🏼
@@csquaredboxing btw would you be doing a video on infighting training with the double-end bag? Your beginner videos have already been a great help to me so would definitely enjoy more content like that 👍
Thanks for an eloquent, thoughtful review. Intelligent feedback is a rare commodity in such a macho arena. I have the Elite 16s, but my instructor said to get 12s for bag and mitt work. Thanks to your video I'll try the Impacts. Keep those dukes up!
What did you think of the impact? I want to buy them now
Did your Impact gloves gain weight from sweat? In your first review they were an ounce and a half lighter.
^
Hello!👋
Thank you for the cool review!👍
Hayabusa S4 or Venum Elite? What do you recommend for boxing sparring?
Didn't the impacts weigh in barely under 14 (13.8 ish oz) in the OG impact review? Did they absorb a lot of sweat that changed the weight to 15.2 oz since that review?
I would love it if you could do a comparison review between the bgv6, and bgv9.
My impact gloves have better protection than the custom 3.0 venum ones I just got.
I have the elites and I love them. I have yet to try the impact, but I have a hard 100 lb everlast punching bag and I don’t have any problems with throwing hard punches with them. Super comfy, plenty of cushion. This is My own opinion however this may change if I were to try the impact ones 🙏🙏🙏
Nice!
The Impact are comfy but not durable at all. I had them for 10 months when the stitching at the wrist area started visibly deteriorating. The right thumb was almost ripped off from as well. For this price range RDX are much more durable.
Very good review. Congratulations.
Thanks!
If they were all the same price, how would you rank the elite, impact and also the sanabul battle Forged in terms of knuckle protection and performance. Don't factor in wrist support. Just striking surface. 14oz if that matters.
Thanks for your time brother
fairtex comparasion please
Coming soon
Awesome video.I found it very useful.Keep up the good work! What would you recomend, venum impact or gladiator 3.0?
Impact
Aside from the products their customer service is the pits read the online reviews.
I didn't know venum gloves are now kinda cheap... I just checked their site and they have quality gloves too. Guess I'll get one again. I might get an impact or those giant? Have you tried giant?
I have, giant 2.0 is better quality and more expensive if you want to go that route. Impact is a great glove as well especially at the price point
Dang it would be pretty dope if you could do a review on the venum dragons flight gloves
Exactly what i was looking for as well, because they are 50% off right now lol
I bought the venus impact. I have small hands but I feel really tight inside even without the bands. Do you think it's because they're new? Did you have this feeling of being too tight at the beginning? Otherwise I feel the impact of the blows is great, we really feel like we have a dry push, it's very pleasant. do you use them for sparring too ?
I see you do a lot of glove reviews, what pair of gloves would you recommend for someone who is just getting started? I've notice real quick that there are many companies and kinds out there and it's a little overwhelming lol.. Note, I'll be using them on a heavy bag for now, and am willing to spend up to 100.
I would say Venom Contenders
Did you continue boxing?
thank you
You're welcome
Does the impact more breathable comparr to the elite because of those palm nets?
Hey man, you mention you don't worry about weight of glove too much when its used for all round training. I will be using the impacts for pad work, heavy bag training etc. I'm 5'7 68kg - would you recommend 12 or 14oz gloves?
14
Bought Venom impact 7 months ago. Just broke em today. I avg. going to the boxing gym and using them 4 times a week. So I guess reason why they finally tore. 14 oz btw. I just bought the Elites 16oz to see the difference and see how long they last
👍🏼🥊
How is it now ?
@P x L so far so good been using a lot more now than what I used my previous Venoms ans they are holding on. Increased my activity in training have yet to break.
@@BMo_91which one do you think is better ?
@peekaboo2395 So far I'm still using the Venom Elite, and sparring a lot more frequent along with bag work. Have yet to break. Really do enjoy the them. I have been curious at the Rivalry brand but have yet to dive into the research. But I have been wondering about them.
Here in Argentina the cheapest model its impact ,contender 2.0, challenger 2.0 and elite are on 240+ dollars😢
Hello I had a question. So I’m going to buy some custom gloves from Top boxer I’m going to get there Alien series gloves in 14 oz and I want to use them for all around training like for bag work, and sparring but I don’t know what padding to use. I want a glove where I can feel my shots on the heavy bag like a punchers style glove, but I don’t want to hurt my sparring partners, what padding do you recommend me to get? Thanks
Multi layer foam padding which is what’s in the alien, you’ll be fine in a 16 ounce size
Hi I'just approaching boxing and your video are really really useful thank you! I'm looking for my first gloves and I can't decide between impact and Green Hill Legend. Do you know them? Same price but real leather. Thanks again and good luck with your vids!
Go with the impacts, my experience with green Hill was sub par
@@csquaredboxing I will! Thanks again!
Bought these for my son who wears Everlast pretty much all the time. He wore them for about 3 days and went back to Everlast MX2's. We ended up giving the Venom gloves away. Personal preference I guess. For me they felt cheep!!!! Also tried Cleto Reyes same thing back to the Everlast.
MX2's are more expensive then Impact's or Elite's. Also MX2's are made of real leather while Impact's and Elite's are made of synthetic leather. That's why Venum's felt cheap for you.
Could you do a review on the Venum Gladiators?
I’ll check them out
@csquaredboxing thanks, I don’t know what to get, the Venum impacts, elites or gladiators.
@@csquaredboxing yes dude please review the gladiators please
I ordered the marble venom impact gloves
Do you know if it’s okay to use the same pair of Rival RS11V sparring gloves for bag work AND sparring? I heard it’s not good because you make the padding denser (therefore less protective) by hitting the heavy bag. Also, I’m not hitting the heavy bag crazy hard as I’m a casual and weigh 140 lbs.. Thank you.
Calvin Rickard nah bro, buy a pair of 14-16 ounce bag gloves strictly for the bag and keep your 16 ounce sparring gloves fresh for sparring
Calvin Rickard in the end you will end up saving money buying 2 pairs instead of constantly damaging sparring gloves
How do you keep them from smelling bad
Iv has the elite. They are more for bigger hands in my opinion. With someone who has smallish hands I found these too roomy for my hand to be supported at a high level.
Good feedback
I have the impacts and they’re great but they are huge for a 16oz glove.
Are there any venum gloves that you know of that are smaller at 16oz?
wassup man, i just received my Fairtex bgl6, they are Fairtex fight gloves but u Can have them in 14 and 16 oz.
Hey man,
I've been training with Leone Explosion (made of bufalo leather, I guess), but I have to buy another pair now. Do you think the Venum Impact are a better option?
Keep the great work!
I really like the venum impact but can’t compare it to Leone as I haven’t tried those gloves yet. Either way I think you’ll be satisfied.
Are the impact gloves lighter than they say they are?
I,m 6,4 and 90kg. Do i need 10 or 12oz gloves for the bag?
hi there, Venum elite or hayabusa s4 or hayabusa h5? i am 5'5 138lbs 12oz or 14oz?
Is it true that the Impact model breaks down fast? Many reviews on amazon say that
Can you please do a review on the venum contender gloves
For sure
Hello , I am new to Boxing and have a 80lb heavy bag which i filled with Clothes and Sand Layer by layer after seeing your video, about heavy bag But i am confused about which glove should i buy under $30-60 because i don't want to invest too much as i am a student and 17 years old , and will 16 ounce glove fit me with wraps because 180' wraps make our hands little big , my hand circumference just under knuckle is 8.5 cm with body weight of 165 lb. I tried 14 oz everlast gloves from my friend and it was little tight with hand wraps, And Thanks for the reviews.
Get the Venum impact
What are your favorite gloves for sparring?
For bags and mitts
And overall??
Thanks man :)
Edit: I’m not sure if you do mma but if you do which glove would you recommend for mma sparring? Thanks man
Also if it’s not too much could you give me a top 3 for each category ? Thank you so much man I’ve been watching all ur videos . :)
1v1 for all of the above and I don’t do mma sorry
Which glove would you recommend more for sparring?
Both, elite just has a slightly larger hand compartment
Which one would you recommend more for a heavy bag?
Impact
@@csquaredboxing thanks!
Does the paint fall off after using them for a longer time ? ( for the impact ones)
Just normal wear
Which are better to buy? Elite or impact?
I prefer impact
csquaredboxing can i use them in muay thai?
I know a bit late but i use the Elite for Muay Thai but you can also use the impact.
great editing!*^
Thanks
180 lbs, 5'10 - 14oz or 16oz for Impacts considering they come heavier than advertised?
16
Just bought the impact
Nice
Does the paint come off the gloves after some time ?
@@flavesave1922 mine are still mint condition after just over a month of use
what venum glove type for muay thai ?
how do these compare to venum giant?
can you please review gloves other than venum.Title enforcer heavy bag gloves, title gel e-series gloves, title soft strike gel bag gloves, pro boxing ultimate training gloves. thank you !
Sure, check out my channel for many other gloves I’ve reviewed other than venum 👍🏼🙏🏼
@@csquaredboxing thank you,for responding and yes I've been following your channel for appx. 2 years and you do review other gloves and i enjoy your reviews, but lately is all venum.thank you, again, looking forward to the reviews of the gloves i listed.I wish a Happy New YEAR,SIR
Need your help brother
Impact or challenger 3.0?
Impact
Do the impacts having loose satin liner like the elites?
Are the Venum Devil Boxing Gloves as good as any of these and are they okay for smaller hands ?
Never tried them
I just started boxing Monday so will the impacts be good starters
Definitely
Hi I really want the impact gloves in 14 oz but it’s actually over 15 oz on the scale so should I go for the 12 oz since it’s probably closer to actually being 14 oz
Go with the 14 because it’s more about the size of the glove rather than the weight I’d be concerned with
@@csquaredboxing ok thanks bro
Ι am 1,90-91cm and 105kg (6.3f/230lb). Maybe i need 18oz gloves?
And maybe elites is better for my hands?
elite is better and is larger 16-18 is best
@@csquaredboxing In my country is difficult to find 18oz gloves. Maybe loose weight, to 200lb and look for 16oz.
Are they good for Kickboxing or Muay Thai
You end up finding out ?
For me the impact are to small because my hand is to big witch gloves should i buy
Try the elites
For muay Thai/ kickboxing, which is better? 5''8 116 ibs
Impact
Can u use impact for sparring
Yes you can
What glove to you think is better for a heavy bag?
Impact
No entiendo inglés alguien que me diga que guantes VENUM son los mejores para pelear MUAY THAI
👍🏼🥊
Ni idea papi
Which are better to buy? Venum Impact or Venum Giant?
Impact
Thanks Bro
Hello,
Very good reviews.
I have just a question please :
I bought venum Contender 2.0 gloves on 14 oz
My sizes are 1m74 and 77-78 kgs.
In this gloves, i don’t feel good, a little bit larger i think. Moreover, they are « big »They are not comfortable !!!
So i want to buy another pair or gloves, the impact or elite, i’m not sure at the moment.
But which size do you think will be better ? Stay on 14oz Or the 12oz With impact or elite ?
Thank you 😉
14oz elite are fantastic glove
I HAVE BONEY KNUCKLES AND I'VE USED A CENTURY 14OZ GLOVE. THE PROBLEM IS I CAN FEEL THE BAG WHEN PUNCHING. SHOULD I GRAB A 16oz GLOVE, OR GET ANOTHER BRAND. I NEED MORE PADDING.
Get another brand
Im about 5’7 145lbs how many ounces should i get?
14
The venom gloves look nice
Yes the looks are subjective for sure
Are the impact good for the heavy bag? Or are they too soft?
Good for heavy bag
Are those a good muay thai gloves?
Decent
Are these gloves good for bag work?
yes
The Venum Elite injured my hand..
HORRIBLE padding to say the least.
Way too soft for any kind of bag work.
That sucks!
@@csquaredboxing :(
But I'm all good now tho :D
I agree 👍
@@XxkillerxX10 quiza no es culpa del guante y tengas mala técnica
@@marcodt1215 ???
most of fairtex gloves are more expensive than venum
disagree, just depends on the model. Theres some venum in mid $100 all the way up to $300
Assalamualaikum!
What's up...
My name is Abdul Basit, Basically I'm Boxing Manufacturer and i have my own factory in Pakistan.i want to work with you.
They look cheap as hell... why are the so expensive? almost to the price of Hayabusas o_O
Pq a porra do título tá em português e o cara tá falando inglês?? Porrraaaaaaa
I like venum can I get personalized gloves
Guys wanna good gloves? Dont buy Venum, they are overpriced AF.
Then what should I get
@@glock_9ine956 storm cloud, twins, top king, fairtex. Depends on your budget but make sure its natural leather. Best is to go to your local store and try some to see which one will fit your hand best.
But the reason i came to venum is cause they're like a quarter price of all the other good gloves 😭
@@farzy7187 but all the cheap venums are synthethic leather about which I've heard lots of complaints because they are getting reckt after half a year if you train few times a week so once you buy real leather you will have them for few years.
