Medo also wants to feel the vibe. He doesn't want to be left out. He seem to enjoy what u do so he wants to join along, see what u are doing and improve his vast chess knowledge
Yes, very interesting. I think this is a good type of game to study. How to take advantage of an open board, an uncovered king, and centralizing of pieces and queen backed by well placed rooks. Especially interesting with Agadmator
I always feel kind of excited when Alireza wins a big game, because he is coming a step closer to challenging the throne, where Magnus might wait for him 😁
but magnus has already decided to not play and alireza didnt win the candidates. so in order for alireza to challenge magnus for the title (in the best case scenario) is first after this wcc cycle is over, magnus plays the candidates AND wins which i mean its magnus but its not a guarantee he would win the candidates (this would also mean alireza loses) and then he would have to reclaim the title and firouzja would have to win the following wcc candidates with magnus again wcc. stranger things have happened im sure but it hinges on a lot of things playing out perfectly.
Sometimes i think that the top tier players preparing their matches by watching agadmator's videos. Such a great channel, thank you for all your work you put down in it!
Wow! What a game. Complex, difficult, combative. Already really did it this time. Impressive performance. Just Impressive. I have to admit I myself didn't know what was happening in this game. A true genius of chess. This might be one of his best game ever. Great video .
I love the way you, just as seriously as you do in chess, analyse the behavior of your Dog before adding an "he is a dog after all" to end the conclusion. I'm dying 😂
That Dog is sitting there thinking. Humans are insane. look at this guy just talking and talking and nobody is there. And he just goes on and on like a crazy person.
You know agadmator, who called your program all but it's favorite (his father's favorite) when asked, on Lex Fridman? A certain Norwegian with a fondness for Ruy Lopez and the Berlin Defense :)
I was very hopeful when Alireza confessed that the top players are coming prepared for him and the style he used to qualify for candidates. I believe he can still play tactical or complicated lines over the board but he shouldn’t force it and get himself into bad positions or material sacrifice. Magnus went through a phase like that himself when he was young.
Just an observation… chess players seem to have very unique names that might be hard to pronounce. I commend this channel for the proper pronunciations!
After the d4 pawn is pushed there is a loss of a queen after the Bishop takes and the Night takes and Queen takes the Bishop goes to C4 with a discovered check on the Queen.
I can understand why folks like speed chess. I am a boring classical purist… much more exciting in my opinion. If I wanted to watch bad moves/bad tactics, I’d put a highlight reel of my own games up. Great job as always, Antonio.
Hey @Agadmator, wondering what is this "sorry about that" in your videos as it is happening more frequently than it used to be and at this point I can't resist myself asking.
Another positive effect of D-4 is that it forces a series of trades that frees up white's bishop from serving only as a pawn. During the three years I've followed Agadmator he has always lamented whenever a bishop is reduced to serving as a pawn, and I've taken it to heart in my own games, but he didn't mention it here. The reason is that after D-4 white was able to launch a formidable assault on black's back ranks, and so it wasn't necessary to call on the assistance of the bishop. But nevertheless, that bishop was now available to spring into action, whereas prior to D-4 it was stuck behind two of its own pawns.
Black can get a Bishop and Rook for their Queen if White plays Bc4+. Could still be winning (Black is up 2 pawns also, so would be difficult), it's just that the line Agad shows is more/definitely winning, because of what he shows us with the g6 square.
Only Indians make those kind of claims. Once in a while they shove some of their mediocre gm's into the news and then we have to read millions of irrational comments about the new players and why they are better than magnus himself.
@@noxianor what do you expect when indian kid which is 2 years small than alireza outclass him in big tournaments?? -"Hold on a minute, I think Medo wants to come in"
And it was in this position that my day has been greatly improved.
Lost when he justified Medo's delayed entrance by "he's a dog after all"
It's the only excuse we ever need for all their silliness
he justifies it like he justifies blunders. well ok it does equalise material but
He is not just any dog but the all knowledgeable dog
Medo had to steal the show
The position at 8:08 is quite something, the piece co-ordination Firouzja has along with the sheer number of threats is really impressive.

He's a dog. He always wants to be where the action is.
Medo is normally fast asleep.
I think he (or she? idk) has gotten used to Agadmator making chess videos, and has come to love it. It's become like a 'ritual' for her
I think by now Medo has more chess knowledge than the average Agad viewer
@@wickyownt Medo is a "he"

This game was so interesting. Firouga and Ian never fail to make fireworks.
How do you misspell a name you see on the screen? 😂😂

He's a dog after all. All dog lovers love that. Thanks Antonio.
House of the dragon first 2 episodes were great. Hope it continues like that
