Love my Sport Glide, rode from London to the Costa del sol and back with no issues. Also great around town and country lanes, I think it’s really the best of both. Smaller rider at 5’6!
Sport Glide for me, having tried both extensively stumped up the cash to get one, no regrets. Pleased you enjoyed the road trip, keep up the good work.
Have had a Sport Glide since 2018. Living in Los Angeles one wants to be riding almost everyday of the year. So having the best of both worlds, cruiser and touring in one, is so appreciated specially with the LA traffic while having the capability to ride the many year round touring all over the country. Never had a problem with it. Took the faring off day one and never used it since. It's beautiful and sporty unlike the bulky heavier touring bikes. Naturally added/ replaced a ton of after market to add my personal signature to it. Simply the best HD has produced in such a long time. Shame they have stopped production. On the positive side, they have come up with the Low Rider S which is a combination of the SG and the old Low Rider. Appreciated the video and the very fair comparison. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing your experience! The Sport Glide really does bring that perfect blend of cruiser and touring, especially in a place like LA. Sounds like you've made it your own, too! Totally agree-it’s a shame they stopped production, but at least we’ve got the Low Rider S now. Appreciate you watching and the kind words!
Love my Sport Glide..such an amazing bike. Toured Scotland seeing family...fancy it again next year or maybe Europe. Would've loved a Street Glide as rode one across the USA..but just too expensive for me atm, so Sport Glide was 2nd option...and I love it to bits. Thanks for upload.. :)
Just had my new Sport Glide delivered and my first thoughts are very impressed, and it ticks i hope both boxes for touring and weekend trips. Gone from a Ducati panigale sports bike to the Glide, so hopefully no regrets.
What a great review, just in the process of purchasing a sport glide so this has really helped and reassured me....thankyou so much, I've subscribed 😎🙏👍 amazing trip and setting too.
Thanks you both for this incredible video. Sports Glide is my favorite. Mix of commuter bike and cruiser sounds to me like something which suits me best. I've watched the whole video, which surprise me. Many thanks !
I already own a bike for traveling (BMW 1250 RT), but I think that the Sport Glide is a very versatile bike, very different for that matter from everything else and for that reason I will give it a try. Nice vídeo. Thank you !👌🏻
I got a 2019 Sport Glide since April 2023 and I'm very happy with it. It's so versatile for a cruiser and its weight. 2 bikes in 1 for easy removing the fairing and cobbs. Greetings from Romania. 🤘🏻
1. I'm not a cruiser fan (yet), but prefer the convertible flexibility of the sport glide (presently ride a Tiger Rally Pro). 2. Your spots look a little burned. Would a sunscreen help? 3. 4:50 WOW! How about an order of fries (chips) with that shake. I have a Sena gizmo for coms that can play music to the Arai HD4 helmet. Sound quality is ok, but I haven't used it yet after two years. I prefer the sound of the wind rattling around my brain. I live in a small village that gets a lot of visiting bikers on the weekends. From 200 yards away, I can hear the music playing on their machines (even over their after market pipes). To each their own. If you had to pick one, which would you take on your next multi-day tour?
I own a sport glide best bike I’ve ever owned and 3rd . Harley it’s versatile can be striped down in 2 mins to be with fairing and panniers . Street glide is a full time Bagger Sportglide can be both Bagger and naked . Basically if you want a full time Bagger amd majority of your riding is long rd trips the street glide Is the one . If you want 2 bikes in 1 then the sport glide
Really enjoyed your video and review... I would go for that streetglide fricking awesome.. I currently ride a Fatboy 2021.. those M8 motors are spot on..
For these two bikes the Street Glide Special would suit me best, I think. It comes closest to my old GL1100. But the Ultra Classic is my favorite, just don't have the money for it. (Neither for the new GL1800 btw😅) But my bike will do, is easy reparable with normal tools and has mega storage for luggage. So as long as it runs.....👊😎
Love your videos and appreciate your thorough review. Some times people seem a bit unfair with some preconceived opinions. My wife and I have been riding for many years and in 2020 we purchased two RGS and we love them. They are confortable and above all give a sense of security and the 114 with a little work to the engine has plenty of power. I would suggest when you have a chance try the RG Special I think you will enjoy it. Some people take a while to get used to the fixed fearing but I think you will have no issues. My wife went from a Breakout the RGS in no time at all and she loves her RG. BE SAFR 🙏
Sport glide, it's really gorgeous and reminds me so much of my beloved 883 Sporster which sadly I had to let her go due to ill health and really miss riding especially Hog the bridge each year Really enjoyed your Harley rides videos.
Great review and comparison! Thanks for actually taking panniers and fairing off the sport glide as haven't seen that on a vid which is surprising being such a key feature of the bike. Still can't decide, between a sport glide, street glide, breakout, scout rogue and gs 😂
oops originally said sport glide,my bad, I was thinking Road Glide ST, for these two I'd have to go with Street Glide for touring. For short trips, over nighters,, sport glide...both imo are pretty darn nice! Thank you!
I’m 145 pound 5’-7” and I’m looking into getting me a sport glide as my first Harley sport motorcycle. I’m currently own a 2018 Kawasaki ninja Zx-6R but i like the relax riding posture on the Harley Davidson . BTW great 👍🏻 video guys and great scenery UK 🇬🇧 to France 🇫🇷
Oh nice! It will definitely be a fun change for you! They are awesome bikes to ride, and much more relaxing and freeing than a sports bike - in my opinion of course. Enjoy the ride and thank you for watching! ❤️
I have a street glide special. Love it. But honestly, the bike is a nightmare in heavily congested traffic, which I deal with daily. The constant stop and go with the weight wears on the body after awhile. I've considered trading it in for a sport glide.
Sport Glide, I bought a FLHTC back in 1993 90th anniversary model, I found it just too much. Also the whole HOG thing was just born again biker's with too much money. Harley tshirts, Harley jacket, boots socks, toothbrush... you get the picture. So sold it after 10 months, bought a shovelhead, joined HDRCGB and mingled with real biker's like myself. I've had the HD thing out of my system for over 25 years now. But I've got the urge again, and the sport glide is calling out to me. Tempted 😮 edit, never been without a bike since 1976. Toured, UK, NZ, Spain, France, Island, and Japan. So lots left for a sports glide
I’m not really a cruiser fan, but I watch because I like your videos. I like your hip holster bag, and I think my wife would like it, too. May I ask what it is and where you got it?
Aw thanks for watching. I wish I could tell you where I got the hip bag from. I got it in a small Christmas market in Hamburg… Many years ago… And since I’ve desperately tried to find a another one of it. And I’ve never managed to find it.
We right off .. the street glide is going to be smoother and more wind protection… but.. the sport glide is likely to be more conducive for twistier roads… lighter and more manageable… but much of all that depends on upgrades if any
Hmmm bravo or well done if you prefer. Really like the video. I do have an experience with chopper kinda motorcycles. I do own Yamaha virago750/now for sale, pardon me/ and recently switched to a Vstrom650. But whatever model Harley guys make, for me it should have the magic word "glide" in it. Thanks a lot to both of you!
I’ve just finished a 4300km European round road trip on a lowrider and would love to know which one that you found to be the most comfortable on long stretches.
I just sold my 2015 street glide special and got a triumph scrambler. Many miles and fun but needed a new adventure with the husband. I tried out the sport glide and hated it - it was so uncomfortable
The factory seat on my Sport Glide is absolutely rubbish and miserable. I ended up ( in the USA) getting a Saddlemen Explorer seat for mine. 2018 model, and the seat makes all the difference in travelling comfort. Also swapped out the rear shock for a 57mm with 4.5" of rear travel instead of the stock 3.5". Absolutely a huge difference on bumpy or rougher 2 lane roads in poor condition.
Street glide for me mam I have a Electra glide I’ve built so baggers is the right choice also I have an older dyna low rider if want vibration it’s got it lol
Watched to the seven minute mark. To save others from having to watch they ride bikes down roads. They buy gas. They eat food. They get on a ferry. It's fascinating if you've never ridden a bike, bought fuel, eaten food or taken a ferry ride.
Love my Sport Glide, rode from London to the Costa del sol and back with no issues. Also great around town and country lanes, I think it’s really the best of both.

Aw nice. Good choice 👍
You are entirely right about the beauty of Wales and welcome returns after journeying elsewhere. London boy adopted Welsh.
🥰 👍
Sportglide.. hands down.. more than one bike
Have had a Sport Glide since 2018. Living in Los Angeles one wants to be riding almost everyday of the year. I can totally understand that. The sport glide is so versatile and comfortable in its own way. Scotland sounds ace 👍
Sport Glide for me 😊
Nice
Great review with lots of detail and thanks for taking the bags and fairing off - a key difference. Well done you two
Just had my new Sport Glide delivered and my first thoughts are very impressed, and it ticks i hope both boxes for touring and weekend trips. Gone from a Ducati panigale sports bike to the Glide, so hopefully no regrets.

Glad it was helpful! That’s ace to hear. Great choice on the bike!!

Oh yey, mega glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Hi I'm picking up a sport glide very soon absolutely love that bike can't wait for summer 😊
Mega. Great choice
For the price difference I bought a Sport Glide for the summer and an Africa Twin for the winter rides. Both great bikes. Win, win.
That’s a great solution. Love it
Great tour cracking wedding and location! I would buy the cheaper bike and spend the 10 grand saving on touring?
Oh yeah. That’s a mega good plan. Love it

That's a fantastic comparison video, thanks loads 👍🏽👍🏽
You are welcome, thanks so much for watching, I am glad you enjoyed it

Love my Sport Glide.❤
Awesome bike, enjoy!

my pleasure Jim

Great video. My Street Glide Standard is the perfect bike for me
Thanks Gary. Good choice
Great review and perfect venue to ride some American Thunder👍. Outstanding detail and presentation.
Aw thanks Paul. That’s super lovely feedback. Mega appreciate your support
If money isn't an issue, definitely the Street Glide Special. I'll take the comfort over convertibility, thanks.
Fair answer. Time to plant a money fee 🌱😂

Thank you for watching, it sure is a hard choice, both ace bikes

Hehe uh oh, the bike bug is coming back
U can set touring seat on sport glide so it will be much more comfortable. And ofc u can set big wind glass

Haha thanks Boril. Loving the glide idea. It’s a good word for the Harley-Davidson cruisers hehe
@@TheGirlOnABike Imagine if you continue with the brand in few years the new model will be Vanessa glide...haha
I’ve just finished a 4300km European round road trip on a lowrider and would love to know which one that you found to be the most comfortable on long stretches.
I was defo more comfortable in the bigger stead, also both comfy...me just a little more so hehe 😎
"👍""❤️" best Vanessa (🐂 ox 😂🙏)
❤Hi Your guys look so Awesome enjoy life and Merry Xmas ❤️❤️❤️😎🌹
Thank you. You too
I just sold my 2015 street glide special and got a triumph scrambler. Many miles and fun but needed a new adventure with the husband.
I tried out the sport glide and hated it - it was so uncomfortable
Oh cool. Yeah it's all about finding what feels good for your body. We're all different
superrrrr motor!❤
Yey
That sport glide could take over the entry spot of the evo sportsters!
So true

ROAD GLIDE😁
Ergonomics vs infrastructure?
Umm
Sportglide
Nice
🏴🍷🍷🏴
Husband well that just wrecked my dreams enjoy
Haha 😘😘😘😂
don’t ride just get to look at them where I work Harley Davidson store 👍🏾👍🏾
Watched to the seven minute mark. To save others from having to watch they ride bikes down roads. They buy gas. They eat food. They get on a ferry. It's fascinating if you've never ridden a bike, bought fuel, eaten food or taken a ferry ride.
Lol
To expensive.
Fair
Your not ready for a Harley Davidson yet. Maybe in 30 years .
Haha 😂
Sport glide for me 👍
Nice
