😂😂😂 I own a 2019 Z900rs and guess what ? I love her. Been riding 47 years and had a few great bikes but the Z900rs has been amazing. My go to bike every time. Just go and buy one. Lots of bargains to be had out there. ( oh ! I care 😊 ) nice one too “The Missenden Flyer” great choice of No 2 in your garage. 👍
It's a show stopping bike. The RS' double wall chrome pipe kills 15 hp. Find a Z900 front header . It look BETTER! It's got crossover balance tubes, 6 "collector, thinner single wall and titanium color. 125 hp with stock E Bay parts. Use new gaskets. You will need to buy a rear can for the rear socket can needs a 4 " connector pipe for stock muffler. 02 sensor harness will reach when it's routed in from of the clutch housing. You will not believe the difference and no need to reflash ECU. 4TH GEAR pulls the front up!!!
I always regretted getting rid of my ST1300 Pan European. Yes it was heavy but so smooth and reliable. If Honda made a new one exactly like the original, I'd slap my cash down in an instant. Nice list 🙂
Is it just me that thinks Andy is going to change some of his bikes next year, and this is the first video to soften the blow for Carol 😂 Great work, as always. Have a fantastic Christmas, and enjoy your New Year adventures utilising the trailer, I look forward to seeing the videos.
Very interesting choices in a good programme . A person wonders what a new limited garage will look like with 10 old/older bikes in it for the less wealthy rider that would love to ride but doesn't know or is ignorant of the fact that there are brilliant cheap bikes out there . Nice programme , thank you
Andy, like all of your videos this one was short quirky and entertaining. Keep them coming as your presentation skills in my opinion make you Britains top motorcycle vlogger without question.
Hi Andy, you’ve, as always, given me tons of inspiration on your list here, will no doubt be testing most of these out, except the Z900RS SE, but that’s only because I have one already and definitely WON’T be parting with it! My question to you is about the header pipes, what did you put on, where did you get them from and in what way did that convince you the bike was now a keeper? It hadn’t even remotely occurred to me they needed changing/upgrading, thanks and keep up your tremendous work.
I had a 2008 Breva Sport. 1200. Last of the big block push rods. I pulled the heads. Bought the track kit ecu and pipes. This bike could powerslide out of corners. Too bad the CARC REAR blew up and nearly killed me. But still , it was a torque monster.
Thanks Andy, all beautiful macines. We've just given our son a BIG helping hand to get on the housing ladder. I think it'll be the new 2025 Honda pcx 125 for me. I'd like to see a review on that one. 😀
Love the fact you started you’re top 10 at number 11 😂. Great decision on your top 10 (11) and being a huge Ducati fan with 2 in my garage ( including a Streetfighter V4S ) I agree with nearly all of your choices. 👍 Love the TWITS series too. Keep up the good work and hope you have a great Xmas 🎅
Hi Andy- Sure enjoyed this review of your top bikes to fill the garage with. You have an incredible talent of picking bikes that look, feel and deliver on the promise to enjoy. Interesting to note that a couple of these are in my garage currently. The Honda Golkd Wing Tour DCT and the Triumph 400 X Scrambler. Thanks for your report and all the best!
I've been watching your channel since day dot. Can't believe it's been 11 years. Wow. I was surprised the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 didn't make the grade. Merry Christmas 👊
Another enjoyable video Andy. Like you I admit that I'm a Ducati fanboy. However, like you, I’ve owned many bikes from the Japanese, German and British brands but keep coming back to Italian machinery. It’s like a drug. I can’t resist a Duke. Although, none that I have owned have been as useable or reliable as a Honda, there’s something that keeps me coming back for more. Currently riding a 2023 Monster SP which I brought home after I went to test ride a Desert X. The monster SP was in the showroom and I feel for it immediately. It’s not especially powerful or practical but it’s more fun, more of the time than just about anything I’ve ever owned. It sounds and looks great and feels special. I think it’s a keeper…. but I’ve said that many times before!
Thank you for making my work day go a bit quicker making my own list, in no particular order KTM Super Adventure S, BMW M1000XR, Triumph Bobber, Honda Hornet 1000 SP, Kawasaki Z900RS, Royal Enfield Bear 650, Suzuki DRZ4S, Triumph 1200RS, Yamaha R9 and KTM 890SMT
Yeah. The GS is a superb bike, but (at least the 1250) lacks that top end option of howling pleasure you get from the V4. I think I’d like both to be fair, but if only one of them, then it’s the multi every time.
Interesting list. Some great bikes on there. I think I'd have to have a Ducati Diavel on the list, or maybe a Rocket 3, and possibly a Suzuki GX as an everyday all rounder. I do also like the new BMW R12 ninet as a bit of a retro cafe pony. So many great bikes to choose from these days. Sadly, many are just too expensive....
Great video as always. Not wanting to rain on your parade, but the front wheel rim of the GS looks slightly buckled. Hopefully its just the camera view. I mention it as it looks just like my 650 Katana wheel looked after a particularly vicious pot hole..😮
How different people can be! Having owned 42 bikes in the last 10 years, none of your choices would make it on my list. My favourite bike is the Moto Guzzi V7 850 Special, your Moto Gutless... (I did not have any problem keeping up with pretty fast riders in the Alps). The Goldwing would be the last one on my list. I must say I do like the looks of the Kawasaki Z900 SE, but I am not a fan 4-cylinder bikes.
Same here mate, my previous bike was a Guzzi V7 and I switched over to a V85 TT for some more comfort on longer tours. Mostly I will be enjoying the scenery of the countries I'm travelling in at that moment, combined with the joy of doing perfect twisties and turns. Excessive speed means nothing to me. As far as Andy 'Missendenflyer' goes I think he really puts out great material and this is of course is just his opinion. However I would liked have to seen a disclaimer that these bikes that he mentions are for experienced riders and that he is one... Here in Belgium a lot of fatal accidents happen with young bikers riding too big or too powerfull bikes...they get their license and already think that they are Valentino Rossi
Any list is going to be an uphill job to put together, new or 2nd hand. How about a 20k budget, Hornet sp = £10k, Triumph speed 400 = £5.2k. Voge 300 rally = £3.5k. Total £18.7k. Or less than 1 street fighter v4. Add an Mt09 sp to the 3 above. £11.8k. Total £30.5k or 4 bikes for less than one wing. Hats off though for giving it a go. If you get chance, the 2nd hand list would be interesting.
my son just got his endorsement. ive just turned him on to your channel-- your enthusiasm is infectious and i know he will love it! (if you get around to it, a video on 'lessons learned' would be more than welcome!! 😁 love your channel, and thanks for what you do, Flyer!
This is an interesting list. Andy and I appreciate you sharing it. I'm glad that you ended with the Gold Wing because I found your channel because of my own Goldwing and hope that you'll be able to continue providing Goldwing specific content as you go. I do think that it is not only limited to long distance touring to up, but rather it's a great all-around bike just about anytime. Thanks again for the content. I had no idea that you had been doing this for 11 years as I just found you this summer when I got my own Goldwing. Thanks, John
Thank you TMF for sharing the list of top 10. Like you I agree with Number 1, the Goldwing. I have a 2024 model touring, I love it but I have it as my only bike. It is a one trick pony (you said that yourself), it is a long distance touring bike. I am having to find the money to buy a second bike for pottering around. Yet more expense.
Mr.Flyer, Fully agree on Honda, Triumph and Kawasaki. The costs of Ducati ownership are for major wallet holders. Regular working bikers on Spanker new Ducati bikes are rarer. Goldwing is a stunner. All of them. Personally love 883 IRON H-D. Just as a run around hilly mountain roads. Thanks for posting video. Very enjoyable and can’t wait to see your review of Hornet 1000. Savage looking machine.. 🏍️💪💪
The Suzuki GX8R is almost there; I’d love to see it patterned more of a Sports Tourer in the vein of Triumphs soon to come Tiger Sport 800, a bump in power and luggage options really puts it in the center of the expansion into middle range touring capable bikes with a fair amount of sporting credibility
Great mix off bike Andy think my list would be adv bike only as age plays it part now for sportier bikes Ducati multi v4 s desert x and tiger 900 rp would do me !!! Keep up the great vids and happy Christmas to you carol and your family 🙏
I’d have the Multistrada much higher but I do own one (was on a GS). No BMW s1000r - had one of these too and a fantastic machine. Would be very interested to see what top 10 would go into your garage including used bikes. Top 10’s could be a good idea moving forward - maybe something similar for motorcycle gear too, especially useful in the run up to Xmas.
I was wondering what you thought of the headlight on the Wing. My 2021 has a great light with a sharp cutoff when on dim to not blind on coming drivers but in a sharp curve you can't see through the curve with the bike leaned over. I believe our auto headlight standards are different then Euro and was wondering if the bikes had different specs also.
@@TheMissendenFlyer I try not to but sometimes it happens! I seen your video on a 09MT or something and thought it had a sharp cutoff too. I don't know why I think of the Wing as more of a US bike then a Euro bike, like you should be on a sport tourer or such!
Very interesting choices, I love all the Ducatis as they are just beautiful, yes to the little Triumph and Honda Goldwing, then I would add a CF Moto 450Mt as it is such a great bike regardless of price, with the rest of the money I would buy an apartment with a large underground garage in southern Spain to ride them. 😀
I get what you said about the Triumph Street Triple RS with the suspension being harsh and that dash display. Luckily I adjusted the suspension to the soft setting by just following the instructions on the manual that came with the bike and what a transformation. It just rides beautifully on the road. The dash is what it is. I wish it was at least similar to the Speed Triple but having said that it is functional and don’t think about it anymore. The Yamaha MT09SP? I had one, an incredible engine but to me at least the Triumph is the better machine overall. It just rides better. Nothing wrong with the SP as you always say, but I’m just faster and safer on the Triumph. Can’t praise the Street enough. It is the best bike I’ve ever owned or ridden.
Awesome video, going to get a GW in a couple years after I retire. Thanks for your perspective.. do you have the YAMAHA VMAX in England? That’s another one….
A really interesting and varied selection based upon your own riding experiences of them all...I think 🤔. Regardless, it's clear that they all provide the important smile and 'look back' factor for YOU personally, which is the important thing. I would certainly be interested to know your all time or second-handers list.
@@TheMissendenFlyer This has taken some serious thought as I started riding on a farm at 14...and this is my 50th year on 2 wheels. I have ridden all of these at some time and owned those with a * 1. BMW R1250 GSA … now on my 3rd 1200/1250 before they are discontinued * 2. Suzuki GSX 1100 Katana (later 1280cc) * 3. Kawasaki KH750 H2-B Mach IV * 4. Kawasaki Z1 900 5. BMW K1200 R Sport * 6. Ducati Monster 900 ie 7. Suzuki X7…passed my test on one * 8. Triumph 955i Speed Triple * 9. BMW R1100R (now in my garage) * 10. Honda CBX * Looking at the list, I have just realised there is only one of these currently available new!
Andy, your gs wheel can be fixed at Motoliners in Maidstone £108 as opposed to BMW who wanted £900 to fit new. Need to take disks off and shipping is extra…
Was surprised no Royal Engield made the list, I'd have to have a shotgun, great bike! And my fave of the Royal Enfields. Also, no speed twin? That surprised me. Interesting list though, I expected most would be Triumph's 🤣 don't worry, I'm a bit of a Triumph fan boy too! The street triple RS 765 is a great bike! Defo make my list!
Fantastic list Andy. A recent visit to MCLive, and this video, have made me realise that at 6”4 there are just far fewer bikes I can ride. I love the ergonomics of my R1200GS and I also got on well with the Tracer 9 when I had one. But believe it or not, perhaps partly your influence, I sat on a Goldwing and found it cramped! A member of the public commented that I made the Rocket III look small…. Still, if the list of bikes I can ride includes the GS and the Tracer 9, I don’t have too much to complain about. When I was a tall teenager, one of the things that attracted me to bikes what how cramped I often was in cars, but weirdly, I don’t have a problem in cars now - they have become super adjustable and I can even drive a Toyota IQ quite comfortably! Anyway, here’s to 11 good years - I’ve been watching for the majority of those - I think since about 2015. Happy Christmas to you and Mrs F.
I like your selection but, but even though it's not technically not a motorcycle, and just for some variety, I'd have a Yamaha TMAX Tech MAX in my garage, which Yamaha calls a 'Sport Scooter'. It has a 560cc engine, automatic transmission, under-seat storage and a host of other features such as adjustable suspension, and a 7-inch dash-just what you need for nipping down to the shops! 😁
Great list there. Always love your views and reviews. For an average dude, value for money list would be, 1. Tracer 9 GT 2. Kawasaki Ninja 1100 or 1000 3. Royal enfield Super meteor 650 or Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. Covers 2, 3 and 4 cylinder engines , each for their incredible sound and performance, and different types of rides.
Thanks Andy for making this video. Alway interesting to think about top 10 new bike pics. I'm married to my XL1000 Varadero, R1200 R and FJR1300, alas I turned 67 last week, starting to feel a need for some lighter bikes sadly.........food for thought
Of the MV's I think I would find a place for a Brutale. Even if just for the looks, which given the issues with the battery and electrics is probably just as well!
Nice bit of fun - haven't looked too far down the comments yet, but I am imagining some ''internet outrage''.... You have saved yourself some keyboard revulsion by putting the Kawasaki Z900RS high on your list. I have one, and everything you say about it is correct.
Great video TMF, as I live close it's great to see local roads in your posts! Of course, this was done before the new raft of Ducati's came out. Panigale V2 would surely make it? 😉
@@TheMissendenFlyer watching various motorcycle YTs such as yours really got me excited for this summer. I narrowed it down to this Kawi, XSR700 or the Speed Twin 900/1200/1200R. But very likely it'll be another Kawi. Will be my first naked/retro bike. I thought of getting rid of my old Ninja 636 but now i think I'm going to keep it after seeing your collection :P
At Ducati towers,it’s Pizza and chianti all round as they win the most entries it TMF’s top 10. You could spend many hours debating this list, but it’s interesting to hear from someone who’s actually ridden them all, not just read and regurgitated the specs from the website, as most pub punters will.
I always love hearing what fellow bikers would have in their money no object fantasy bike garage , there were a number of bikes on your list that I would include in my garage including the Gold Wing the Honda Hornet 1000 SP and the MV Agusta , would also want to add your 900RS SE to my list ,the only issue for me would be 10 bikes wouldn't be enough !! on something completely different, you need to stick the top right hand corner of the poster of your plane back on to the garage door 😀
Yes a great list, with a great spread. I know it’s a bit naff to criticise someone else’s choices, but I guess that’s part of the fun of a list 😃. I’ve mentioned before that I really fancy a naked muscle bike, but whilst I find triumphs strangely dull and uninspiring to ride, I am intrigued by the looks of the latest 1200 speed twins, so maybe I should test the updated model. I notice your own one didn’t make your list? The hornet feels like a game changer to me, especially if the red, white, and blue with gold wheels and ohlins popped up! What a great choice…..it might tempt me away from the idea of a naked boxer twin or the superduke 1390. Streetfighter….yes, I’ve been wanting to buy one for ages but I can’t get over the insect headlight and rear exhaust black cover that looks like a weird bladder hanging out the back…..but what a bike. I also notice you didn’t pick the desert X after riding it……for me, if I could only ever have one bike, it’d be that. If Norton sorted themselves out, I’d have one of those too, and an MV, but not a triple…..again they don’t do it for me. I think 3 cylinders messes with my OCD……but I’d be ok with 1 or 5 🤷♂️ I’d definitely keep the Husky 701, and am still in love with my multi V4 - taking it out this morning for a blat in the hills of Provence, and then into town to get the Mrs a chrimbo pressie! Any excuse 👍👍 A great vid to stimulate debate, please keep them coming. Think the quality and depth of this channel is in a real sweet spot!
Thanks for video you made me think of my top 10 and I think it’s would something like this (but subject to change 😂) 1. Ducati streetfighter V4s 2. Panigale v4s 916 edition 3. Superleggera v4 4. 1299 superleggera 5. Ducati 998r 6. Multistrada RS 7. Kawasaki z900rs 8. Triumph 1200rs 9. Ducati 450 scrambler 1962 10. Yamaha XSR 900 GP
You mentioned you had a helmet hack for low sun. I really struggle with that too, and would hope you can share it. I use a nolan N80 8. Thanks for your good work from a newish returning mature rider, regards Julian
Being new to riding all my list would be new and current bikes so would love a second hand bike list to know what to look at if im allowed to add another bike in the shed.
That Z is a great bike but needs a flash, headers and way better breaks! Once Im done with the performance mods, I just may as well buy a proper super naked, but damn does it look good! Just wish it was more performance oriented.
Good call Andy, how about a secondhand list.ive had some amazing bikes that cost me 2k.A Kawasaki ZX9 was a real weapon and a Honda Superblackbird did everything you could want a bike to do.Dont know why i sold them but im always swapping and changing.
My Z900rs is also super smooth, i think i got lucky its a 2020 but the fueling and gearbox on mine feels spot on, also got the Evotech tail tidy, a really well engineered item, looks more quality and befitting to the rest of the bike than original plastic one.
My list is: 1. Triumph tiger 800/900 cos they dont weigh a ton and can do anything. 2. BMW M1000rr just because. 3. BMW K1300s, all day comfort and speed. 4. Crf 300 Lightweightnoffroad fun 5. Ducati hypermotard as front tires never wear out. 6. Honda cub c90, it was my first bike 7. MV Agusta F3 mmmmmmmmm mmmmm 8. Triumph Rocket 3 9. Any classic british bike with sidecar, my dog wants a bit of the action too. 10. Triumph daytona 675r, handling and enough power to be able go use every pony!
I like your list. I’m surprised there’s no GS and no Royal Enfield. Not a fan of sports bikes so… meh… I would love to have 5 of your 11 err I mean 10… 😉 Hornet, Triumph Scrambler 400X, Goldwing are my favs. The Z900RS is great. Street triple 👍🏻, MT09 from the piano company 💪🏼. Thanks Andy. Love your work
Agree with you whole heartedly on the Goldwing and Z900RS.I would consider the Triumph 400 if it were a twin. That being said, our lists would be markedly different. Thanks Andy!👍
Not bad and I'd be happy with about half of your list. I definitely add the new BMW R12S, Royal Enfield Classic 650 in teal, and maybe a new Vincent Black Shadow.
Hi Andy, You made a mistake selling your Panigale 899 and so did I. IMHO, you have many of the same: two roadster, a semi hyper naked retro, two touring bikes. Lot's of redundancy if you ask me. I'd drop one of the roadsters for sure and most likely the GS since you'll be spending time on the Gold Wing. You don't have a SuperSport or a Sportbike. Don't you miss the Pani? On that note, the new ones are outrageously priced. Perhaps an R9? Lots of bang for the bucks.
I think there's an age related as well as height choices as well. I tried most of the triumphs and BMWs and ended up with a honda nt1100. Perfect for trotting local, and for long trips to France etc. Maybe I'd call it number one of the all rounders. It's relatively affordable, quick enough, super comfy, not too heavy like a behemoth Wing. Yamaha tracer another great bike. But as an all year rounder bike the nt seems spot on for me. Little kwak Versys 650 for salty days but will be looking to get another BMW as winter bikes...there's another list...they are the best.😊
Very surprised that you wouldnt keep more of your current motorcycle collection , might be an opportunity to shed some dead wood ! , part of my current collection are Rocket 3 gt , honda cb1100 , ducati scrambler , royal enfield interceptor , royal enfield Scram , BMWR1200 c x 2 , Moto Guzzi V85ttt no plans on getting rid of any of these as they cover all my moods and riding needs , got some others that need to go , interesting though
Hi! Awesome vid as always. It would be interesting to see a list of all the bikes you've owned and the reasons for both buying them and why you sold them. Also then a top ten of the bikes you've owned. Just a thought...
Is this actually ''content'? I suppose it's one step up from reading out professional journalism published in MCN.

Yes I am tempted by those I must admit
Thank you for making my work day go a bit quicker making my own list, in no particular order KTM Super Adventure S, BMW M1000XR, Triumph Bobber, Honda Hornet 1000 SP, Kawasaki Z900RS, Royal Enfield Bear 650, Suzuki DRZ4S, Triumph 1200RS, Yamaha R9 and KTM 890SMT
Nice list - that Suzuki drz4 would likely make mine now too…
@@TheMissendenFlyer I'm really hoping they don't make it silly money as i would love it as a winter green laneing and getting to work bike
Yes I quite fancy one I must admit…..
Well out of your top 10 I can safely say I won't have any of them and that's why we're all different👍
The Ducati range just oozes style and desirability. Definitely take the V4 Multistrada over a GS especially the bread bin GSA.
I have to agree with the ducatis, and the goldwing, but I think I would have a ktm 990 duke in my list as well. Have a great christmas Andy... ❤
Great video as always. Not wanting to rain on your parade, but the front wheel rim of the GS looks slightly buckled. Hopefully its just the camera view. I mention it as it looks just like my 650 Katana wheel looked after a particularly vicious pot hole..😮
Yes well spotted - the rim does have a ding after a pot hole incident….been like that for a while, I need to find a new one somehow…
Well spotted Mark. Bleedin pot holes. 👹
Fair enough - we are all different and i certainly don’t expect my list to be the same as anyone else’s (in fact im not 100% sure about mine!)
I would probably agree with fasteddy3661........but who cares, they are all glorious!
No Guzzis that's a crime against biking, made in Europe as well, V85TT should of made the list, even if it was at number 11.....😅
Is the Goldwing redundant, after the trailer purchase ? 🤔
Love the look and sound of the Street Triple. Put off by the plastic fuel tank. I'd go for the Speed Triple instead.
Awesome! Thank you!
What kept you!
@TheMissendenFlyer I didn't know about your channel! But I know now and love it!!
Yes get a small fun bike too and you’re sorted!
Mr.Flyer,
Fully agree on Honda, Triumph and Kawasaki.
Yes for big hauling with passenger and luggage the Wing is an incredible package
Yes I agree - would make a cracking sports tourer….
I believe you can already get a set of lightweight paneers from suzuki for this bike. Does it have cruise control?
Can't disagree with any of those choices. My fave is the MV Agusta.
I'll be buried with mine ... Love It, Art ,Power and Sound to Wake the Dead .
That new CB1000 looks amazing! I can see them flying out the door
Me too
Thought a Speedmaster would have dropped somewhere in your list, I purchased one due to your review, it was sold before I attended the shop.
Every garage needs a Kawasaki 😉 But I agree, it would need a friend, and a Monster would be the best friend ever!
Nice list…and shocked you left off a GS…but based on new models…I understand!!! You do love those Ducati’s - HA!!!
Great mix off bike Andy think my list would be adv bike only as age plays it part now for sportier bikes Ducati multi v4 s desert x and tiger 900 rp would do me !!! Keep up the great vids and happy Christmas to you carol and your family 🙏
Thank you - you too!
Oh temptation - get thee behind me ….! Great list Andy and thanks for the video. All the very best to you and yours for Xmas and 2025. Yours aye, Alan
Thanks for watching again this year Alan - Merry Christmas to you too!

7. Honda Rebel 1100

Great mix of bikes there mate, something for everyone and everyday. Good summary of '24 bikes!
Thanks 👍
Good idea for a video Andy! 🍻
Cheers Chops! My guess is our lists would be quite different - yours would include a supermoto, a superduke and a Triumph Rocket 3???
Your's next Chops?
I’d have the Multistrada much higher but I do own one (was on a GS).
No BMW s1000r - had one of these too and a fantastic machine.
Would be very interested to see what top 10 would go into your garage including used bikes.
Top 10’s could be a good idea moving forward - maybe something similar for motorcycle gear too, especially useful in the run up to Xmas.
Interesting to see what happens to the Monster now the Street fighter V2 has been toned down for for the road. Not much differentiation now.
I love your garage so clean and nice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Great content as per usual Andy. Thanks Dave
Glad you enjoyed it
I was wondering what you thought of the headlight on the Wing. My 2021 has a great light with a sharp cutoff when on dim to not blind on coming drivers but in a sharp curve you can't see through the curve with the bike leaned over. I believe our auto headlight standards are different then Euro and was wondering if the bikes had different specs also.
I don’t think Ive ever ridden it in darkness!!!
Yes they are great bikes aren't they - I'm no ruling one out of my future!
Yes I may make a video on that.....what's your top ten list then?
@@TheMissendenFlyer This has taken some serious thought as I started riding on a farm at 14...and this is my 50th year on 2 wheels. I have ridden all of these at some time and owned those with a *
1. BMW R1250 GSA … now on my 3rd 1200/1250 before they are discontinued *
2. Suzuki GSX 1100 Katana (later 1280cc) *
3. Kawasaki KH750 H2-B Mach IV *
4. Kawasaki Z1 900
5. BMW K1200 R Sport *
6. Ducati Monster 900 ie
7. Suzuki X7…passed my test on one *
8. Triumph 955i Speed Triple *
9. BMW R1100R (now in my garage) *
10. Honda CBX *
Looking at the list, I have just realised there is only one of these currently available new!
I would go for the scrambler x, a good looking bike that is slightly understated in that colour.
It's like the Marshall Amp in 'This is Spinal Tap'........it goes to 11....🤩
Look at all those jackets hanging in the garage!
As you said at the end, perhaps a top 10 second hand bikes list. Try a Suzuki 750/1100 slabbie sometime. 😊
Yes plenty of older bikes to choose from too - maybe another video in that…
Andy, your gs wheel can be fixed at Motoliners in Maidstone £108 as opposed to BMW who wanted £900 to fit new. Need to take disks off and shipping is extra…
I’d love to get it fixed but sounds like a lot of hassle having the tyre removed and so on….
I do like the look of the Enfield Bear and the new Classic 650 I must say….
Wow - Goldwing's in the UK are almost as much in GBP as we pay in CAD in Canada.
Thank you for sticking with me!
Nice one!
Great list there. Always love your views and reviews. For an average dude, value for money list would be,
1. Tracer 9 GT
2. Kawasaki Ninja 1100 or 1000
3. Royal enfield Super meteor 650 or Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.
Covers 2, 3 and 4 cylinder engines , each for their incredible sound and performance, and different types of rides.
Thanks for sharing!
If you despatch with the treadmill you could probably fit a couple more in there 🙂
You’re not the first to suggest that!
Thanks Andy for making this video. Alway interesting to think about top 10 new bike pics. I'm married to my XL1000 Varadero, R1200 R and FJR1300, alas I turned 67 last week, starting to feel a need for some lighter bikes sadly.........food for thought
How did i miss you had SW-Motech Legend bags for the kawasaki 😮 I use on my Bonneville, Great kit
Nice choices Andy, yeah proper wish list 👍
Yes that may well displace the Suzuki GSX8S
going to try and purchase the new Z650RS this coming summer.
Good idea!
Thank you - I have to say I’m not 100% sure my list is right yet!
Yes annoys me that too!
I think 3 cylinders messes with my OCD……but I’d be ok with 1 or 5 🤷♂️
I’d definitely keep the Husky 701, and am still in love with my multi V4 - taking it out this morning for a blat in the hills of Provence, and then into town to get the Mrs a chrimbo pressie! Any excuse 👍👍
A great vid to stimulate debate, please keep them coming. Think the quality and depth of this channel is in a real sweet spot!
Thank you - I appreciate that!
Thanks for video you made me think of my top 10 and I think it’s would something like this (but subject to change 😂)
1. Ducati streetfighter V4s
2. Panigale v4s 916 edition
3. Superleggera v4
4. 1299 superleggera
5. Ducati 998r
6. Multistrada RS
7. Kawasaki z900rs
8. Triumph 1200rs
9. Ducati 450 scrambler 1962
10. Yamaha XSR 900 GP
Wow - Ducati fan clearly! (As am I)
You mentioned you had a helmet hack for low sun. I really struggle with that too, and would hope you can share it. I use a nolan N80 8. Thanks for your good work from a newish returning mature rider, regards Julian
Bit of tape on the visor should sort you out!
A real wish list, I do fancy the Ducati as well.
Being new to riding all my list would be new and current bikes so would love a second hand bike list to know what to look at if im allowed to add another bike in the shed.
Yes might do that on another video….
That Z is a great bike but needs a flash, headers and way better breaks! Once Im done with the performance mods, I just may as well buy a proper super naked, but damn does it look good! Just wish it was more performance oriented.
Good Top 10, well 11!
Good call Andy, how about a secondhand list.ive had some amazing bikes that cost me 2k.A Kawasaki ZX9 was a real weapon and a Honda Superblackbird did everything you could want a bike to do.Dont know why i sold them but im always swapping and changing.
Yes I may make another vid just on second hand choices - Super Blackbird would be on there!
How about a list of 6 bikes you would have in your garage if you had to replace the 6 you have with all different machines?
Yes I might do some more of these fantasy garage type lists - good fun to do….
Looks like front wheel of the GS has a flat on it? Unless it was the camera angle, at 01:47
No it has a ding sadly…
My Z900rs is also super smooth, i think i got lucky its a 2020 but the fueling and gearbox on mine feels spot on, also got the Evotech tail tidy, a really well engineered item, looks more quality and befitting to the rest of the bike than original plastic one.
Yes the fueling on mine seems good too….
Great video mate. Keep up the excellent reviews
Thanks, will do!
If you buy a Goldwing bagger and add a top box (which give your passenger the armchair) its about 5k less than the big full version.
But you don’t get things like the fancy suspension adjustment and one or two other refinements
@@TheMissendenFlyer You don't get the heated seat, should be standard. I must try the full tour version to compare the suspension.
Your Speed Twin is so more beautiful than the latest one... com'on Triumph!
I think so too!
My list is:
1. Triumph tiger 800/900 cos they dont weigh a ton and can do anything.
2. BMW M1000rr just because.
3. BMW K1300s, all day comfort and speed.
4. Crf 300 Lightweightnoffroad fun
5. Ducati hypermotard as front tires never wear out.
6. Honda cub c90, it was my first bike
7. MV Agusta F3 mmmmmmmmm mmmmm
8. Triumph Rocket 3
Love your work
Thank you!
What about a top 10 bike for beginners or some looking to get back in biking after a long break.
Agree with you whole heartedly on the Goldwing and Z900RS.I would consider the Triumph 400 if it were a twin. That being said, our lists would be markedly different. Thanks Andy!👍
What else would you have that’s different??
Yes lots of factors to take into account - not sure this list is actually 100% correct!!
Yes a good mind experiment!
Would love to see the top ten second hand bike list.
Yes I must get around to doing that!
Changed the front sprocket on my z900rs 15 tooth I felt was ridiculous far to rushed,17 on now much more relaxed ride
Hi! Awesome vid as always. It would be interesting to see a list of all the bikes you've owned and the reasons for both buying them and why you sold them. Also then a top ten of the bikes you've owned. Just a thought...
Thanks for the idea!
