When we talk about certain music being so far ahead of it's time then Musical Youth are one of them to mention because if they came out any time from the 1990's onwards to this day as U C they'd be as big as U can imagine
We haven’t lost the drummer. We’ve lost the bass player, Patrick Waite. He died at the age of 24. But the drummer was his brother. Junior had lost his mind and from what I heard, he’s currently in a mental home somewhere in Birmingham.
We just lost the drummer yesterday. RIP Patrick and Junior. Edit: Apparently Junior (the drummer) passed away in July, but the news of his death came out 2 days ago. Either way, RIP 😢
Nah only Patrick Waite died, he is the one in red in this video. Patrick and Freddie Waite were brothers and Michael Grant and Kelvin Grant are both brother too, the oldest is Dennis Seaton. Kelvin who was the vocalist here and the youngest and he is Michael's Grant's younger brother and he is very well and alive and he is my Facebook friend and has his own band. Born in Birmingham but lives both in England and Jamaica. And the moment is only Dennis Seaton and Michael Grant that are running the band and Freddie Waite is doing his own thing and also an actor,Google him.

This song just came to my mind who’s here 2023 and used to sing this back in the day ❤
As a young kid, Musical Youth introduced and made me fall in love with reggae music.
Musical youth is like the jamaican version of jackson 5
Yes Yes Yes I agree 100%

They were actually British, but they’re parents were Jamaican. But the band itself, the members were all born in Birmingham, England.

Musical Youth gives me so much wonderful Nostalgia ❤️❤️❤️
It's a shame that these young talented boys were exploited and never really got what they deserved by their producers and managers.
Welcome to the music business, this why you have to READ the contract you are signing
