The nurses told me the hospital morgues were too filled so hallways started to be littered with boides... so bad they just started leaving the bodies in the patient rooms with ice so it didn't smell so they could work on new patients. That shit would suck to deal with....
When Rick is talking about the bodies, blast shadows, the fires, etc I had no idea what he was talking about. That was until I was all the way up in DZ9 at night by myself around the W. 64th Street Checkpoint. Everything just seemed to be on fire and bodies were everywhere.Then I learned real quick. I was getting all uncomfortable and just wanted to get the hell out of there. I kept my cool and got the hell out of Dodge MGS/Splinter Cell style. I know its just a game but it felt real as I was so immersed in the lore of the game. That part of the audio log played back in my mind as I saw my surroundings real time. Rick is/was the best part about the Division to me. He helped set the mood so good. They should have updated his lines with each major game update. I even bought April Kelleher's New York Survival Guide twice. And add to the fact Directive 51 is real. Yeah I am hooked on the lore of this game. Div2 is just a let down in this regard. Oh well we will always have the setting of Christmas in New York and the present Gordon Amhearst left as a stocking stuffer. Good times.
Amazingly put, I feel the exact same way. Idk why. But I'm hooked on the lore and phenomenal soundtrack. Div2 I enjoy, but the mystique of a snowy winter in NyC is more eerie and real to me because I live 30 minutes away from NYC
Division lore is like a drug that pulls you in with each audio log / radio transmission / story mission / tidbit of story building, you just get lost in it like you were playing your first good story game

But I was just running through alleys and through buildings til I ran into the bodies. It made me feel sick, the body bags were so high, and the streets were red from blood. It was a odd experience for game tho

No it’s not just because he had a ski mask, most of it comes from the lack of any emotion, he just kills her right there with one bullet, done without any sort of confrontation, this compared to the rioters is irregular. The icing on the cake, afterwards they took some sort of jewelry from the suitcase completely ignoring the kid. My assumption it was them taking the watch as the trophy albeit not a very well earned one or just as proof the deed was done. If you read this all, well done. Have a good day or night and cya.

I agree. The original Division had a very unique and loveable vibe to it that would've made Division 2 much more enjoyable. I miss the snowy weather, broken christmas decorations, tall buildings, ambient synth music, and the cleaners.
For a game I spent more than 300h in to have one radio station that in total is only 20min long with no way of turning it off... suddenly makes perfect sense why I would like to go rogue on Rick V's ass...
