Ford 755 backhoe when I was a kid the man that did all the excavating and grading for my pops had 4 of those backhoes
I have memories of riding on those and being taught how to operate the backhoe
They were top of the line machines back then

YES I own a 1978 Dynahoe-190 it had 8000 hours on her in 2003. It has been digging in my yard ever since. I call her little Muskie after Big Muskie. It looks the same in my yard. I completely turn over my soil in my Garden every year, just like a big strip mine. I sat on my dad's lap with his Case ( CK) Backhoe. He let me control the front bucket on Jobs.

Really? When he walked in front of the tractor and the bucket was a few feet off the ground? The bucket would’ve hit the ground before the arms would’ve hit him. Not to mention there wasn’t any load on the bucket. Ya’ll are probably still wearing masks whenever you build the nerve up to leave your mom’s basement.

@@tomjohnson6036It's basic safety practice, he put himself in the line of fire. He had to duck, to go under the arms. A few feet may not seem like much but a few feet is all it takes and you never know. Not to say live in fear, but always be careful around heavy equipment, those things are absolute beasts.

  • @thatdave86

That's not sketchy at all,the sketch bit was going under a container being lifted and not using a safety block just in case it fell ,safety is brain power, real simple,it can be that one moment thinking it'll be good ,then suddenly.
The method they used with the poles was bang on ,but another way would be to get one end on the ground, and then take the tractor to the other end and lift, then drive trailer out from beneath it ,but hey they got it
