This guy is so underrated as a drummer. He's not about flash - he plays a lot of hooks and is a big part of why CC still sound fresh and interesting.
Paul is a huge part of the CC sound. A true pioneer of the genre.
I remember meeting Paul briefly after my first concert in Cincinnati, circa July 1996. Very laid back guy and definitely appreciates his fans; actually, the whole band is like that. I still see them every time they're in Cincy. CC 4 life. \m/

Cannibal Corpse's legendary sound owes a great deal to Paul's unique stylings. I wouldn't want any other drummer in CC. He's amazing in his own way.
TheTrueFortress I feel like Pat and Alex could be in a technical death metal band, while Paul and Rob fit really well in the old school style of death metal.
Only wish he would fix up his technique and everything a little though and do what he does tighter, would be easier on his body and provide with a nice solid rhythm for the guys in the end.

Nice Zildjian! You chose the wrong song,wrong sound,wrong performance....this is one of the tracks that Paul rests and saves energy
Question: If zildjian features you in there videos or contacts you do you get free cymbals or just a big discount or still the same prices? I don't mean to sound like an idiot ok i'm just curious
If he is endorsed by them, which he probably is, then yes he will get equipment free. Its good exposure for the companies to do this for established artists.
