I just can't help believin' When she smiles up soft and gentle With a trace of misty morning And the promise of tomorrow in her eyes I just can't help believin' When she's lying close beside me And my heart beats with the rhythm of her sighs This time the girl is gonna stay This time the girl is gonna stay For more than just a day Well, I just can't help believin' When she slips her hand in my hand And it feels so small and helpless And my fingers fold around it like a glove And I just can't help believin' When she's whispering her magic And her tears are shining honey sweet with love This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay) This time the girl is gonna stay For more than just a day For more than just a day (Oh I just can't help believing) sing the song (Oh I just can't help believing) one more time (Oh I just can't help believing) yeah, one more (Oh I just can't help believing) For more than just a day Oh, I just can't help believin' When she slips her hand in my hand And it feels so small and helpless And my fingers fold around it like a glove I just can't help believin' When she smiles and whispering her magic And her tears are shining honey sweet with love This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay) This time the girl is gonna stay For more than just a day (Oh I just can't help believing) take it (Oh I just can't help believing) yo (Oh I just can't help believing) (Oh I just can't help believing) Great lyrics by the king 👑
Black people are the greatest singers. All Elvis's singing idols were black, he learnt his trade in black gospel churches, his only friend was black when he was kid, all his maids and cooks were black, a reporter once referred to him as the king of rock'n'roll, he said quote " it's not me, it's that man sitting over there, FATS DOMINO", white people ruined him.
I love reading the comments, he was such a loved man and performer. I wonder if truly knew how much he was loved, more than any performer in his time and since! RIP Elvis Aaron Presley. xoxoxo
Elvis had the best musicians, backup singers, and imagine how amazing it would have been to be there and share the stage with him, like singing with God ❤🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
+The Flash Besides putting his heart and soul into every song. Elvis was just two notes shy of a 3 octave rang singing voice. More than most singers who sing the type of songs Elvis did.
He was the only one in the world who could sing(and did) all types of songs and all types of American music ! Rock, Gospel, Blues, R & Blues, Country, Country Rock, Christmas, Soul, Funk, Comedy, Sentimental, balllads, Folkloric, and the only one that sang in Spanish, Italian, German, and Hawaiian! And the only one who could sing, dance, and play guitar at the same time! And the only pop and rock and foll singer eho had a natural baritone and tenor power! His singing voice was an instrument in itself!
Orlando keep talking ELVIS could sing everything you name it !! And it was his own style and it was magical and beautiful!! And he can sing it and change it in any way he wanted to 🤗
I agree. Elvis was just full of different styles of Music. Regardless of what he was going through over the years. The man could pick songs, play guitar, bass, drums, piano... He just knew music. Thanks to all for sharing good things about this man.

Do yourself a favor and become a new fan of the KING! I have been for most of my life he was and still is the greatest of all time. He was a very generous and great humanitarian with a heart of gold like his many gold records!
Our Daddy’s met in the Army in Germany. I attended my first concert at the age of 4. He was handsome, funny, nervous before going on stage, and I told him to breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth. His voice was absolutely AMAZING and I loved his sideburns. Our families have always been close.
I can remember the first time I heard Elvis, I was in South Texas (Kingsville) for the summer visiting my grandparents. We were in the cotton fields and someone that was picking cotton had a transistor radio and “ Return to sender” came on, all of a sudden everyone was picking in unison and dancing and I thought, what’s going on? It was like a musical, that was the effect that Elvis had on everyone and I was hooked at seven years old. There will never be another Elvis!
Elvis presley will always be my favorite artist and i hope his music opens the hearts and minds of the people for 100 more years to come so for those listening to his music dont let any one tell you any different god bless you all
just as elvis is the king of rock and roll bob marley will always be the king of reggae some say michael jackson was the king of pop luciano pavarotti mybe the king of opera but one thing they have all in common many have tried to impersonate them and all have failed they are one of a kind and always will be
There just isn’t anything this gorgeous man can’t sing. He is a true definition God’s gift. He may be in heaven but in our hearts is where he remains. Truly miss him and his music.
My 1st fiancé singing to me, sang along with Elvis many of these songs. He died, later my 2nd love & husband sang the one’s that meant more to me to me & him. We often slow danced to these at home & at wedding receptions. He would whisper in my ear the songs we both loved. Elvis singing a variety of songs that meant so much to both my husband & me throughout our lives; as teens & throughout our adult lives. Elvis is THE KING & always will be!!!
No wonder Elvis was called the King. It’s impossible to find another singer who can song as good as Elvis. People all over the world will miss him dearly for the decades to come.
i think about that so much -- that it is unfortunate he is not here to see the adulation & all the young people who are now discovering -- & loving -- him so much; he was very under-rated in his time so it is doubly sad that NOW FINALLY he gets the recognition he always should have had
I was thinking that too. We never had anyone like Elvis & no one else could replace him. I'm glad that the Elvis movie came out so new generations can discover this tremendously talented man. I can't imagine anyone NOT knowing Elvis but I'm sure there's some out there. There's the music to remember about him. There was no auto tune, it was his phenomenal singing voice. There are many impersonators but only one King
@@nancyglem there's an interesting site from Wings of Pegasus analyzing Elvis' voice & why he can NOT be auto-tuned, using a chart & the song "Bridge Over Troubled Water" & said it would be catastrophic if they try to mess w-his voice; it's very interesting if you want to see it --ruclips.net/video/4Hv9CkSWZR8/видео.html

The power of Elvis at this stage of his career was the ability to cover other people's songs and create a moment only possible by Elvis Presley. @2:45 the bridge with The Sweet Inspirations and The Imperials is so smooth.
hms7373 So what... Compared to some of the other Rockers. This was tame. David Bowie as Iggy. Alice Cooper, KISS, Prince, MJ. The list goes on and on. But the talent was 100% all him. No Autotune. No special effects. 100% Pure Elvis. So he wore a little eyeliner, mascara and dyed his hair Black. It looked good and natural on him.

The day he died, in 1977, will be seared in my mind forever. I walked into the newspaper office at 7am (here in Australia) and the telex machine was going crazy, which it almost never did at that time of the morning. I stopped to check to see what was happening and there it was. Elvis was gone. I walked over to the deputy editor, told him "Elvis, is dead!" Refusing to believe it, he walked to the telex machine, read the report, then read it again, and then ripped it from the machine. What followed over the next several hours was just bedlam. The world had come to stop. What a day it was to be a print journalist. I'll never forget it.
I think everyone can remember where they were when they heard the news that Elvis had died..etched in to our memories. He was such a larger than life character and much loved.
I Remember I Was A Teenager And Had Just Walked Into The Pool Area In Our Apartments, Had My Radio On. It Said Elvis Had Died. I Sat Down, Shocking. That Was In Park Forest South, Illinois.
Thanks for the story. I’m from NZ was 9 years old living overseas. He died on my ninth birthday i had never heard of Elvis but remember it was MASSIVE NEWS. RIP THE KING.
He's in our hearts forever... He loved the music and the music reaches out to us with his unique talent, physical beauty, love for the world keeps him with us forever.
How could 1k people actually give this beautiful song masterfully sung by the King,....Elvis Presley a "thumbs down"? How? How is that possible? Must be alot of tasteless jerks in the world. Elvis is King!
Wow! What memories this brings what a waste of talent died at 40 I’m now 74. This is just pure talent 101. RIP. I was blessed. To have Lived through those time
It is rare to have two backing vocal groups for an artist at the same time in a concert but the Imperials and the Sweet Sensations really added to his performances. This event was legendary and few artists can pull it off today. B.J. Thomas (released the original and it was great) was very gracious as Elvis' rendition of the song has become the one that resonates more strongly with the public. This live arrangement is magical in its execution and Elvis (and the vocalist and musicians) worked hard to make it look so effortless. Thank you for the remaster as it conveys what the audience would have heard live. Few artists today have the resources and capabilities of providing live performances of this caliber.
Our Daddy’s met in Germany whilst in the Army. The first thing Elvis asked my Daddy was, “Do you wanna be here?” They BOTH laughed and said “NO” at the same time! Gladys Love Smith-Presley died when Elvis was in Germany. When Elvis returned, Daddy was gone, as my paternal grandfather had died. They grew closer after that. Elvis rented a house in Germany, and my Daddy was there a lot. I attended my first concert at the age of 4. He was gorgeous and had an amazing voice. He wasn’t a racist and I loved that fact. Lisa and I both lost a son recently, and it sucks. We each have 4 children, and I have 1 son and 2 girls remaining, and she has 3 girls remaining. We each have a set of twin girls, but I had my children younger.
Elvis spoke of his identical twin brother who was stillborn, Jesse Garon Presley often. After Gladys passed and the guys returned from Germany, Vernon Elvis Presley remarried, but asked Elvis if it was okay. He wanted his father to be happy. Albeit they had no children together, Elvis had step-siblings. This is about all I’m willing to share. I wanted to say THANK YOU FOR RECOGNIZING A WONDERFUL AND GENEROUS MAN WITH AMAZING TALENT!
Elvis left us 45 years ago and it still does not seem possible. I have always loved his music and have great respect for his enormous talent. RIP in sir.

Rest in Peace with Lisa, Ben , Momma and Daddy, Elvis Aaron. 46 yrs and we love and miss you more than ever. ⚡️TCB 👑
Elvis transcends the generations!
I was 8 years old when he died and and was so upset. I had posters of him on my walls. My son has Elvis’s middle name and he loves him too. We visited Graceland and I taught him to drive in its car park 😅 - we still love the King - still miss him. How is it possible?
So many entertainers have come and gone, but Elvis came and is still as strong and popular as when he first started. Thank God for Elvis.

I’m 56 I’ve loved Elvis all my life …. No matter what fashion or music was in at the time
I always played Elvis too
Legend my legend
I just can't help believin'
When she smiles up soft and gentle
With a trace of misty morning
And the promise of tomorrow in her eyes
I just can't help believin'
When she's lying close beside me
And my heart beats with the rhythm of her sighs
This time the girl is gonna stay
This time the girl is gonna stay
For more than just a day
Well, I just can't help believin'
When she slips her hand in my hand
And it feels so small and helpless
And my fingers fold around it like a glove
And I just can't help believin'
When she's whispering her magic
And her tears are shining honey sweet with love
This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay)
This time the girl is gonna stay
For more than just a day
For more than just a day
(Oh I just can't help believing) sing the song
(Oh I just can't help believing) one more time
(Oh I just can't help believing) yeah, one more
(Oh I just can't help believing)
For more than just a day
Oh, I just can't help believin'
When she slips her hand in my hand
And it feels so small and helpless
And my fingers fold around it like a glove
I just can't help believin'
When she smiles and whispering her magic
And her tears are shining honey sweet with love
This time the girl is gonna stay (this time the girl is gonna stay)
This time the girl is gonna stay

(Oh I just can't help believing) take it
(Oh I just can't help believing) yo
(Oh I just can't help believing)

Great lyrics by the king 👑
This man was the most talented singer this world has ever known or will ever know
Absolutely 👑 TCB ☇ forever
Amen to that. Nobody comes close.
And that's a fact no one can deny unless their deaf and blind
Black people are the greatest singers. All Elvis's singing idols were black, he learnt his trade in black gospel churches, his only friend was black when he was kid, all his maids and cooks were black, a reporter once referred to him as the king of rock'n'roll, he said quote " it's not me, it's that man sitting over there, FATS DOMINO", white people ruined him.
@@gambriehewert1677 That's a pretty racist comment.
I will listen to Elvis until I died greatest performer in my life time
I love reading the comments, he was such a loved man and performer. I wonder if truly knew how much he was loved, more than any performer in his time and since! RIP Elvis Aaron Presley. xoxoxo
No, I don't think Elvis would have ever imagined how much he was loved.
Elvis had the best musicians, backup singers, and imagine how amazing it would have been to be there and share the stage with him, like singing with God ❤🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
What a pretty and wonderful woman ,hello ,my darling ?

+Luc Provost e k agrees
+The Flash Same here!! It's a strong addiction, :"))
+The Flash Besides putting his heart and soul into every song. Elvis was just two notes shy of a 3 octave rang singing voice. More than most singers who sing the type of songs Elvis did.
+The Flash It´s a stste of mind.
He was the only one in the world who could sing(and did) all types of songs and all types of American music !
Rock, Gospel, Blues, R & Blues, Country, Country Rock, Christmas, Soul, Funk, Comedy, Sentimental, balllads,
Folkloric, and the only one that sang in Spanish, Italian, German, and Hawaiian! And the only one who could
sing, dance, and play guitar at the same time! And the only pop and rock and foll singer eho had a natural baritone and tenor power! His singing voice was an instrument in itself!
Mo om

Thank you darling Elvis for everything
That is an inspirational story and surely a treasured memory, thank you for sharing it.
Elvis presley will always be my favorite artist and i hope his music opens the hearts and minds of the people for 100 more years to come so for those listening to his music dont let any one tell you any different god bless you all

There just isn’t anything this gorgeous man can’t sing. He is a true definition God’s gift. He may be in heaven but in our hearts is where he remains. Truly miss him and his music.
Well said Alicia. Agree with you. Elvis is in our hearts. 👍⚡🇿🇦
He will never die. Not really.
Probably at birth, every aspect of music and charisma converged on Elvis all at one time. Pure talent, never equalled in its unique way. RIP.
Very true friend 😇
His soul depth and diversity remain unmatched.
No wonder Elvis was called the King. It’s impossible to find another singer who can song as good as Elvis. People all over the world will miss him dearly for the decades to come.
And after all these years their is still not a soul on the planet that can even get close, the bloke is a LEGEND
I'm a dude and he is still the most beautiful human being I've ever and probably will ever, see.

hello Karen how are you doing today?
That's so nice of your son who also loves Elvis Presley. A new generation will soon rise making a fan club for the immortal Elvis Presley!
If Elvis could see after all of these years after his death he is loved more than ever and his songs still mean so much to us all.
i think about that so much -- that it is unfortunate he is not here to see the adulation & all the young people who are now discovering -- & loving -- him so much; he was very under-rated in his time so it is doubly sad that NOW FINALLY he gets the recognition he always should have had
And he was worried he wouldn't be remembered, if only he knew 45yrs after his we are still listening to his songs.
The Persona, Charisma, Stage presence. Call it what you will. Elvis had it all, in Spades.

To be fair, some of yesterday’s wasn’t great either.
The power of Elvis at this stage of his career was the ability to cover other people's songs and create a moment only possible by Elvis Presley. @2:45 the bridge with The Sweet Inspirations and The Imperials is so smooth.

Elvis was the greatest entertainer. I'm a fan. But he used mascara and eyeliner also his hair was dyed black.
but that voice was all HIS
lo digo en español....era un hombre bueno en todas las formas y más alla
hms7373 So what...

The greatest music entertainer in the history of music!
“Before Elvis, there was nothing”~John £ennon
You are spot on! It worked amazingly! They all spent a lot of time together rehearsing and it shows!

The 2.3k that disliked this doesn't know real music. Elvis Presley is the king!
