It's a really fantastic knife. I am a little bit self conscious about pulling it out and using it in public settings though because of it's appearance is intimidating.
Great video!!! Love the automatic version with the brighter handles. By the way... Does anybody know what's the knife Billy Drago used in Delta Force 2? Looks like a boot dagger with mother of pearl handles to me...
Glad to see they dropped 8cr and d2 steel and upgraded. CRKT aesthetics imo have always been great. The problem for me has always been the blade steel being low end with a super high price tag. Bear claw, ibis, and padawan are my favorites here, for a fair price. I think even with the sandvik upgrade, (still only being equivalent to Japanese aus-8 steel) many of these knives are overpriced.
Really loving the new Home front! You guys made all the changes I would have hoped. Would be equally at home as an EDC or when I'm on the campground..... I won't lie that 200 price is a bit ridiculous. Probably a great investment if you don't lose your knives haha
Hi guys, one question. I have a We Nefaris on order but I have not yet received it even though it was supposed to be out a while ago. I would appreciate any update you could give me. I am a collector who loves Blade HQ and I proudly wear Blade HQ merch.
They've definitely been using cheaper materials for the Redemption because the recent ones DO NOT look like that, my handle was faded AND the clip was loose for over $200 dollars!! Come on
Not a huge fan of CRKT ... Used to be with material, average quality and overpriced. Has it seems to be getting better with materials, wonder what it is gonna do with prices ... I'll guess I'll check it out and the are two hot options for 5th pocket knife
That MBOMBA looks pretty sweet, but that fuller(?) in the middle of the blade with the edges it appears to have is going to collect so much gunk. If it was just smoothly rounded it would be so much better wouldn't it? The Redemption looks really cool also. That blade profile and length is going to make people nervous, so be conscious of where you carry it I guess.
If this guy’s name is EMT dad, what I’m about to say, he should be all for it. Where are the serrated blades? We keep getting the same old blades over and over! Where are the Tonto serrated folders/flippers/blades? We need serrated blades. The word of the day is serrated blades and they all have to be over 4 inches, again they all have to be over 4 inches!
@@stevemendez3535Well I understand not everyone is a knife guy/gal but most of those knives were flippers . Secondly serrated blades are not advantages for anything other than maybe sawing through thick rope or possibly some other material but even that is a stretch since a razor sharp edge with alot of bite will still most likely slice through most materials faster still than most serrations. Also serrations require round sharpening rods and have to be sharpened individually which is a pain and 10x easier to have a consistent edge that can be sharpened on a stone. Then as far as 4 inch or bigger blades they don't make most pocket knives that big because it kind of defeats the entire purpose of being a pocket knife if it barely fits in your pocket and is illegal in most states to even carry a concealed knife over ruffly 3 inches in alot of places. Pocket knives that big are a more of a niche market amd those kind of knives tend to be a novelty and fall in the over built knives category which companies like Cold steel, Midgards Messer, Medford and a few others sometines produce. But for a mass production relatively cheap brand like CRKT they arent going to make knives that only appeal to a small portion of the knife community. They are targeting people who buy knives at Walmart, Bass pro, all the way to your true knife people who understand the knife world cuz they prob collect knives and are involved in the knife community . I like some larger knives sometimes myself and I even appreciate tantos but typically tantos are really just about looking cool as they usually hold no advantages when it comes to cutting. And really it's susurprising to even see CRKT actually starting to make non assisted manual knives which are for sure way more popular among the experienced knife buying portion of the community as assisted knives require far less accuracy when machining tolerances are concerned and there for far easier and cheaper to make and so CRKT is taking a considerable step trying to make knives that actually require real precision and will be competing against brands and companies who have already mastered this higher teir of the knife market. So they arent going to be wanting to do anything that doesnt make them appeal to the largest ammount of possible customers. And 4inch plus serrated tantos I can assure you would not be doing that and they could gaurantee knives sitting on shelves for a long time. And I no this because idc what popular knife brand were talking about any of them who offer blades in both plain edge and partial or full serrations is gauranteed everytime that the plain edge is gonna sell out first and no matter how badly people want that model knife if it has a serrated edge 9out of 10 people arent going to buy it cuz there's no advantage and if it's a nice knife that actually could ever be resold then serrated is the last thing you want cuz it won't sell or you will have to take a huge loss cuz they just arent popular among those of us who are really involved in the knife community. Usually it's something new knife buyers find appealing cuz they don't no any better. When I was new to knives O thought they were cool. But learned quickly that they really weren't beneficial especially cutting cardboard or anything you want your blade to glide through . Serrations require a sawing action and usually just get hung up which isn't what most people want. So hey like whatever you want I'm not trying to insult you in anyway. Just giving you a response that you won't be getting from CRKT that might help you see why those things prob won't be happening. Atleast not on a regular basis occasionally all brands will do something unique or that might check off those boxes but don't hold your breath. Better off just looking at companies who might be into making larger knives. 👍
Damn so the 2024 “new” is just “upgraded” old models? Very sad and disappointed to see this from CRKT. Use to be my second favorite but it seems like the last few years is been getting worse and worse and I have to say this is the worst I’ve seen yet
Where are the Tonto serrated flipper or folders or autos deployment knives. Where are the serrated knives. And mine do all of the blades in the Tonto serrated and in the other styles must all be 4 inches long and length in the blade. We kept getting the same styles of blades it’s time for serrated blades Tonto blades sheep foot blades we need serrated blades something new this is 2024 leave the aluminum handles alone there’s nothing wrong with them.
Stop trying to hijack the term "gearhead"! That term is reserved for car guys not dudes that like tac gear or any other kind of gear.... Gearhead is for car guys... Quit it!
“Out of stock” and over priced. Cool auto knife tho doesn’t look like it’ll hold up. Yes, I’m one of those that do not enjoy spending a small fortune on blades. 🎉
Always love it when Ryan comes to town
Great vid guys 👍 And an awesome new lineup from the CRKT crew 👍
Hope you like the gear man, congrats on fatherhood!!💪
Super cool gear!
Pedro Buzzetti! Super stoked to see another Brazilian maker making into the big leagues!
The Redemption is probably my most wanted knife, so beautiful.
It's a really fantastic knife. I am a little bit self conscious about pulling it out and using it in public settings though because of it's appearance is intimidating.
CRKT bringing the HEAT!!! They’ve definitely been listening to their customers and basically brought everything they’ve been asking for and more.
Am I the only one who calls CRKT by cricket 😂
I do that😂
Me too. I see it that way.
Yeah your the only one
Same
Nick Shabazz often does that.
I like the Padawan a lot, and the minimalX form factor. Good stuff.
That one caught my eye, too. I like the brown one.
With green micarta would look class too@@voidofbeeswax
Love to see the branching out of steel!
I gotta say this has been one of the best knife company videos ever. Well done guys. Thanks
How is this different from the other ones they do on BladeHQ? Lol
Baby stuff given as gifts was a cool touch.
My CRKT M16-03BK was my first more expensive folding knife and I love it. I also bought the CEO Flipper which is pretty sweet
Very nice video❤
Yoooo thx blade hq for another banger!! ❤❤ Actually just got myself a CRKT but might have to get another one now lol (the knife addiction never stops)
The worst addiction of them all😔
The padawan looks like a nice budget. I dig the form factor. Itd be so sick for a glow in the dark inlay option to go full SW
great lineup for crkt this year. not all assisted crap. yayyy
Redemption! Excellent.
Awesome update guys!
Great video!!! Love the automatic version with the brighter handles. By the way... Does anybody know what's the knife Billy Drago used in Delta Force 2? Looks like a boot dagger with mother of pearl handles to me...
28:52 -- Bear Claw: $68 for AUS 8 I don't think so CRKT...
Supper rad crkt is a great oregon company.
Glad to see they dropped 8cr and d2 steel and upgraded. CRKT aesthetics imo have always been great. The problem for me has always been the blade steel being low end with a super high price tag. It's a shame they didn't recess the screw on the pocket clip of the new homefront. Great looking sleek design with a wart holding the pocket clip on.
That poster is awesome!
Prices?
That dead man want to be is Wicked new home front yes! Vcrkt is rocking it
Sweet
The padawan in G10
Looks solid. Unfortunately I’m not impressed with the rest of the line.
Whould like to see the original squid with the deadbolt lock and s35vn. The lck+ large needs a auto and blacked out version.
Great video and awessome knives
What is that fire axe in the back called?
Really loving the new Home front! You guys made all the changes I would have hoped. Would be equally at home as an EDC or when I'm on the campground..... I won't lie that 200 price is a bit ridiculous. Probably a great investment if you don't lose your knives haha
Knives are cool and all, but you 2 having so much fun talking about being baby ready was the best.
Great knifes. Congrats on the new baby. Can we please lose the back ground music. It really takes away from the conversation.
That Mbombo looks cool
That deadhand looks so so good...... of course its a Ken Onion
Whats the hrc on the kizer harpoon 10v?
That minnow I’ll grab for sure
Nice 2024 first line up!
Also can we get more Blade Hq limited edition Tunas?
dang.... I like the looks
Hi guys, one question. I have a We Nefaris on order but I have not yet received it even though it was supposed to be out a while ago. I would appreciate any update you could give me. I am a collector who loves Blade HQ and I proudly wear Blade HQ merch.
Make a padawan with nicer steel. You got a winner with that design
George is awesome. Dallas needs to be on more episodes
That Ibis blade really looks like Ansøs earlier knives, like the Whale from Böker.
Where is the APC slipjoint?
CRKT makes Awesome Knives 👍
If awesome meant CRAP.
Crkt arent embarrassed by this lineup?
They've definitely been using cheaper materials for the Redemption because the recent ones DO NOT look like that, my handle was faded AND the clip was loose for over $200 dollars!! Come on
IMHO Autos and semi-autos should come with a warranty. These kind of knives are great; until the Spring breaks. So frustrating!
That Mbombo is great looking, shame it isn’t lefty friendly, I would love one if it were
Same guy who never watched or wanted to see any Arnold movie, doesn’t like huckleberry quote from Tombstone.
So, how do we get one of those sweet posters?
Just Checked
That CRKT Auto the Michaca is $300 bucks. IDK. Pro Tech is Top Tier and Less Money 💰. I think Low $200 is Better
Nice 🎉🎉🎉
those autos look so thick behind the edge unfortionately
wasnt there an m16 auto ?
Thank you for not making everything assisted
Crkt needs some button locks. Especially with a flipper
Not a huge fan of CRKT ... Used to be with material, average quality and overpriced. Has it seems to be getting better with materials, wonder what it is gonna do with prices ... I'll guess I'll check it out and the are two hot options for 5th pocket knife
any designs coming from tj schwarz this year
Is the bear claw stainless
CRKT really said “2024 is our year”😂
They keep kissing the perfection mark @ the Stylus and CEO... They're "gentlemen's knives" ... They shouldn't be so long.
What was the knife the fancy haired man used to open packages?
So not one fixed blade?
Bear claw, they showed it last
That MBOMBA looks pretty sweet, but that fuller(?) in the middle of the blade with the edges it appears to have is going to collect so much gunk. fix my dextro !! the damn thing rattles
He said domestic!
Aaannnnddd once again. Great models and cool looking stuff but no reversable pocket clips still?????? Seriously come on CRKT!!!!???!😢
Classic CRKT, Great Designs, Meh Materials, and Horrible Prices.
Why does CRKT hate left-handed people now? I don't see any models that support left-handed carry except the Redemption.
Oof. Disappointingly few left-hand friendly options.
I make a knife called the Bear Claw lol
BladeHQ Rocks 👍
I love my razel but man, the sheathe is so garbage. It made me look into alternatives
Civivi is really showing CRKT up in the budget realm. Most of these are kind of boring and seem like they lack any real character

I always say their full name.
Bear Claw....presented as a Kommer design when it's just copied from Fred Perrins La Griffe.
Aren't auto release aka switch blades Federally banned to cross state lines with?
George has a man crush
$300 for that Michaca is ridiculous nothing about that knife is worth $300 even with magnacut
He said here in California we are hungry for autos....yes we are, but not that auto! Huge fail!
I dont love magna cut .

"huckle bearer"
not berry
Sorry I cannot watch this guy's videos please get a different host
He is annoying as hell, it's his voice for me
Dude I agree. Something about him rubs me the wrong way.
Totally agree I'm not here to think about shitty diapers . Mr moms makes me sick
I literally stopped watching BHQ when he started hosting only watched this because I love CRKT and Ryan
@@user-wy1dl2me2pGo get a hug dude, jfc
BladeHQ has the slowest shipping ever.
Buyers beware shipments from BHQ are taking over 2 weeks right now. Way too long

Cali legal😂more like showing how weak cali is….
Prices???
Just looked them up, I now see why they weren’t included
Knife prices these days are ridiculous, I miss the days you can pick up a good knife for under 100 bucks
