I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many overwhelmingly positive comments on a RUclips video before. That’s definitely a testament to these gentlemen and all the time and heart they’ve put into this over the years. Way to continue to bring the team together guys!
Me too. Before I started watching DCAs video's just before the pandemic, I owned 5 knives. I now own 550 fixed and folding knives and could buy a new car with how much money I've spent on knives because of DCA.
Mediocre at best to some, excellent to others. While it's not my taste in design language it's still a perfectly serviceable design that lots of people love and got good reason. It's a solid design, it's of quality manufacturing of said product line and it's always nice to support small companies and get a good product at a good value. Like I said, not my taste in design language and geometry but Banters has done it right quality and value and supporting good people. So while I knew 100% the landers wouldn't get carried by me I still bought one just to support a small Business that's owned/ran by people I like.
To make a brand stick around long term...you have to control your own narrative. There is a cost to silence, and in every industry the one you hear from, is the one you buy from.
DCA at this point has become a legend in my eyes. I thoroughly enjoy all his videos and respect what he does for the knife community. Awesome video guys!! 👍👍
Can I just say - props to you guys for always displaying / holding / presenting the knives well, visually. So many reviewers start talking and the knife becomes a magic wand, just waving around and never still, never facing the camera. Nice work - the experience definitely shows.
I like tuning into DC, Seth and the crew, they have a very watchable format. DC is always very careful to get his facts straight, correct himself and admit when he doesn't know something. Pretty important when you're selling survival tools!
Two legends together doing food tasting. Priceless.! We're fans of Ben & DCA. Just like David we are fixed blade people. More of legend guests vid pls. "The knife choose you". Cheers from Australia.

Hey Ben, that was fun to watch. You should definitely do more videos with other knife designers. I enjoyed the questions as well as seeing the co-evolution of similar designs.
I happened to be in Salt Lake City over the weekend, and actually had to go to Syracuse. Thought Knafs was close by but didn't realize it was literally 5 minutes from where I was. Managed to stop by the store on Monday and get my first Knafs (Lander 3, blue/satin blade - I really wanted to like the black, but I guess I am more a "traditionalist" - I had to get the sample one since it has been out of stock forever). Got the bit driver too, already used to swap the pocket clip, and I love how it spin! And went home with a bunch of extra goodies. Thanks!!!!! Most of all I got to "try out" some of the other knives (very dangerous, because I love them all and I am afraid of come over again :) One question: why nobody does a small button lock (lander 3 or maximal type) that is a flipper ? I think there are a few bigger knives, but nothing under 3". I am not a super big fan of thumb stud, but it seems pretty much any button lock use thumb stud.
David that knife is a winner. I like RPM9 Steel, easy to sharpen and decent edge retention. I like a wider blade. Has a great sharpening choil, deep carry clip, and great price point. Good job.
This was an amazing interview! Two people I have been watching on RUclips for a long time. Ben, you gotta get the Dutch Bushcraft Knives guys someday also!
This is so awesome! You guys are great! I watch both of you as much as I can, and seeing you together just made my day!!! I think it’s so interesting how you both explained where you come from when designing a knife. I wasn’t one bit surprised when I first saw the Banter because I’d watched Ben talk about what his preferences are for a folding knife. And David’s Maximal doesn’t surprise me because I’ve watched him comment and handle so many knives. It’s such a cool thing to witness.
I bought both the Yipper and DCA's Pocket Tango, and they quickly became some of me favourite blades to carry and use! Thanks a lot for your work in the industry to both of you!
What a great video with 2 of the most down to earth folks in the knife world. Really good discussions about knife designs, partnering with the right people, and building a brand. (and I'm with DCA on the cheese+potatoes=unbeatable sentiment 😀)
Two legends making an awesome video. I think the only other cross over that might make me fan girl more would be to bring in Felix Immler. I love the respect you both show even with differing philosophies.
My mind would’ve blown years ago if you told me I’d see DCA and Ben side by side in a video having grown to love both of them on Knife Center and Blade Banter.

Damn. I've seen David C. Anderson in videos more times than I can count, and I had no idea that he was a knife designer and business owner. I just assumed he was a sales/marketing employee that was drafted into being their video guy... Even more respect now than before.
Great seeing these two behind the same desk. Just one counterpoint about the pocket fixed blade sheath: the clip is an option, but it certainly does not need to be firmly fixed to the pocket. When the primary use is OTHER than gas station quick draw defensive carry, it’s a little bit slower but just as effective to take the knife and sheath out of your pocket and use the knife. No attachment necessary. Sometimes you don’t want a fixed blade handle sticking out of your pocket, it avoids snagging, and it’s safer than resheathing into your pocket, especially if the sheath is deeper carry. It’s simply a design choice and personal preference. I carry a small fixed blade in a slip inside my pocket quite often, and it’s all good.
I have a Pocket Tango, and I love it! It's one of the few fixies I own. Great looking knife and very functional (I have the "reverse tanto" hee hee version with the olive wood handle). Bought it from Knife Center as a matter of fact. Good value!
What a show! Love that we could learn so much new staff bout knives, all the stories and processes behind. DCA is such a great dude, love the work he's doing and beeing such low key and humble person is just a cherry on top. Congrats on first folder design! *you've given the seed Ben and now over 1000 of us are awaiting these corns!😂* Cheers from Poland guys, keep amazing work going 👌🏻🔥

KNIFE CENTER CAN NEVER FIRE DAVID C. ANDERSEN!! He is awesome; a very skilled presenter and reviewer of knives! IMO, he's funny, intelligent, entertaining, and very knowledgeable about knives! To me, DCA is like a humble, relatable, regular guy you would want to hang out with, go camping with, etc., so watching his videos is like hanging out with a good friend who knows a lot about knives! I always try to watch DCA's videos. I can't wait to get ahold of some of his knife designs! Thanks - I subscribed to your KNAFS channel.
I use to look forward to watching both KC & BHQ one right after the other but when Ben & Zack left their replacements were just too corny but than recently the guy and girl there now makes it kind of fun again I love what both of you guys build and wish you both great success and the two of you can be poster images for the American Dream still existing in Our great country
Now I’m loving both these dudes. I left Ben a snide double sided comment once and he replied “thank you?”…and the baby banter is a great small knife or anybody knife❤
DCA I will be picking this up. Haven’t bought many knives lately, but this checks so many boxes I like. Great design, size and all! Congrats on your slightly larger than average success man! 😅
Bens fascination with "Mexican candy" is so entertaining to me. As a Hispanic in San antonio. Those suckers or lollipops as I say are pretty tame compared to what we use. Chinese plums or Chinese candy we buy at our local convenience store. It's real casual here. It's so cool to see
The only thing that could make this a better video is the DBK guys, those 4 guys, the three channels, all the expertise, years of testing and making knives, they would create the one knife to rule them all.
I'm a Colorado native. We make frog eye salad and funeral potatoes all the time, both at home just because they're good, and for family gatherings because they're good and because it is very budget friendly to make big batches for a lot of people. I didn't know they had a Utah/Mormon origin. Interesting and delicious!
24:02 LOVE the MKM magnetic sheath. I carry Microtech Socom Alpha Mini Warhound in mine, with a wide ranger band about a half-inch below the opening bc the blade is a tad wide and cut through a small part of the upper stitching. I carry it in back right pocket, and there's no other that I would recommend.
That guy on the right looks familiar...
I have no idea what you are talking about. 😉
I know the guy you are thinking off, but that guy wears another color shirt.
Are you talking of the curly one 😂 even the other one looks familiar also😂also 😂😂😂❤
Don't know he has disappeared a bit lately.
Knife centre do not sack him he is the best in front of the camera.
You mentioned being from Indiana. Curious what part. I was born in Evansville.
Two men of the knife industry I respect most on a Knafs video. This is an amazing duet.
Agree 100%!
Lots of history here.
Two of my favorite men in existence..this is going to be good!
DCA is the best knife salesman in the game.

@nickmartino2839 love em too
@maxlvledc lol I know you do lol.. I'm just messing around lol....
@nickmartino2839 nice
DCA and Ben together in the same video was an awesome surprise . I don't think I've ever clicked on a video so fast I looked like the flash 😂.

The clickbait, how dare you! I got really worried for a second there haha, but thanks for bringing two knife industry legends together
We try!
DCA is personally responsible for me buying way too many knives.
Because that’s what he is: A knife salesman.
My poor wife got tired of seeing Knifecenter each month in our credit card statement. 🤣
Me too. Before I started watching DCAs video's just before the pandemic, I owned 5 knives. I now own 550 fixed and folding knives and could buy a new car with how much money I've spent on knives because of DCA.
@@happykt that makes me feel SO much better! Good for you! I’m about to order a pocket tango
DCA and Ben have truly impacted my knife collection. DCA introduced me to joker knives and Ben to Boker.
I love that guy! He's super chill and relaxing to watch and he knows his stuff about all knives. The show wouldn't be the same without him :D
Most ambitious crossover event in history.
Our children will tell stories of this!
I like DCA's answer at 12:15. Respect for others. Respect for his employer. Earning trust.
All of the love and the support to these 2 guys, who have given to the industry so much. Thanks David, Thanks Ben.

I use to look forward to watching both KC & BHQ one right after the other but when Ben & Zack left their replacements were just too corny but than recently the guy and girl there now makes it kind of fun again I love what both of you guys build and wish you both great success and the two of you can be poster images for the American Dream still existing in
Our great country
I would say that when it comes to knife content on the internet, these 2 men pretty much personify it!
So much wisdom in 35 minutes! Thank u guys!
Now I’m loving both these dudes. I left Ben a snide double sided comment once and he replied “thank you?”…and the baby banter is a great small knife or anybody knife❤
You’re welcome? 😆
This was great, good to watch you two together.
DCA! One of my favorite RUclips knife aficionados! 👍
It's so cool to see
Two of my favorite knife personalities out there!!
The knife world needed this collab!
Why did we get Deadpool and Wolverine before Ben and DCA? This is the team-up we've been waiting for.
Best knife chat ever, thank you both
Two legends in the knife industry. Thank you for this video!
The only thing that could make this a better video is the DBK guys, those 4 guys, the three channels, all the expertise, years of testing and making knives, they would create the one knife to rule them all.
An awesome interview, one of the best one's out there. Cuddos 👌
A truly informative professional video. Thanks, Lads. Best of luck on your endeavors. (Have a Lander 1).
There should not be a knife video on you tube if it doesn’t have one of these guys in it!……and those potatoes are friggin awesome.
Great production quality. Love it.
Masterclass from two masters. Thanks 😜👍
This is one of my favorite knife videos ever.
awesome, enjoyed it fellas, thank u
I'm a Colorado native. We make frog eye salad and funeral potatoes all the time, both at home just because they're good, and for family gatherings because they're good and because it is very budget friendly to make big batches for a lot of people. I didn't know they had a Utah/Mormon origin. Interesting and delicious!
24:02 LOVE the MKM magnetic sheath. I carry Microtech Socom Alpha Mini Warhound in mine, with a wide ranger band about a half-inch below the opening bc the blade is a tad wide and cut through a small part of the upper stitching. I carry it in back right pocket, and there's no other that I would recommend.
what a meeting of the minds! I love this!
Good fun gents. Please keep up these interviews. Love it.
I think this might be my favorite knife video ever. Very entertaining!
this was an amazing episode. loved watching it.
DCA's designs are genuinely good, i would like to see more on a regular basis
that was fun ! thank you !
I wanted to report that I received my new Sendy this week. Wow! I really like it folks. Got the black version.
Trully enjoyed the entire episode! Thank you! George, Los Angeles
This is a great episode. For every reason.
