He’s playing like he did in the movie while fighting Parkinson’s disease. Michael J Fox is an absolute legend who deserves all the love in the world❤️❤️❤️
JZZY WLLMS He's a hero in the sense that he's an inspiring person. He's overcoming his own boundaries by getting up in front of thousands of people and playing guitar with a disease that affects your muscles. I play guitar myself and I can't imagine what it must be like to play with Parkinsons. It took some serious balls to do what he did here. Massive respect for the guy. Did he get a fee? Maybe. I'd like to think that if he did he donated it to his charity fund, but I guess we'll never know.
I believe the official definition of 'hero' is: "a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities." Michael has all 3 of those. So to me at least, he's a hero.
JZZY WLLMS The reason I gave you the definition of the word hero is because you tried to say I was using the term incorrectly and declare he's more of an ambassador. Now you seem to be saying that a person's view of a 'hero' is subjective. So that means I can see him as a hero if I want, and you may not. That's fine. You can give him all the labels you want. But to me, personally, the guy is a hero.
+JZZY WLLMS What the fuck is wrong with you? Can you let go of some small semantics quandary and just enjoy the video? He isn't just "Playing the guitar" he's playing the guitar with some of the best selling musicians of all time, on one of the world's largest stages for his fans whilst having a debilitating muscular disease. Michael J. Fox and "Back to the Future" brought magic to the world, made us conscious on how little actions and steps taken in life in the right moment will lead us to a destiny we create. I heard on an interview that he is trying to find answers about what has happened to him, and I deeply feel that there is a great teaching, a "Maestro" speaking to him beyond what he suffers physically. I believe still has the chance to create his destiny in good health by listening to what has happened to him and by saying the right words. Just finished watching the saga (again!), totally touched by its beauty and its magic. I believe in "The Power of Love"🎸💛

My father-in-law got Parkinson's at age 79 and only lasted 3 years until he passed. When we asked we were told it is different when you get it at a young age compared to getting at an older age.
mark taylor If you watch the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance part of the film, you can see that he had Standard and barre chords down. After some point in "Johnny B. Goode", you can hear that someone was playing the guitar of the Chuck Berry track. As he gets more aggressive and slides at the end of the song when he realizes he took it too far, you can see that the take is real because of the how he bent the strings. It's quite possible that some killed the volume on the amplifier after the note dissipated or shut it off because he had some dirt on the guitar signal and we likely would have heard some feedback.
He played most of the parts in BTTF 1 he had huey lewis band giving some instructions and he already knew how to play guitar, but nowadays with Parkinson is kinda difficult to play, but he did better than myself

And people in glass houses sink ships...
It's not Mike it's f####g Cold play
Amazing, to both have the skill and the confidence to get on that stage despite his condition. Super inspiring. I didn't know he played!
He learned the guitar part note for note for Back to the Future. It's not him playing but he wanted to be able to play it it so it looked real in the movie.
@@Rocket_Sledge hey sledge didn't know you were a Back to the future fan. 😉
Think he did some guitar in the movie. Not sure who did the singing though.

haha, no.
Micheal J. FAKER
@@chrisw5742 Why This??
@@streamflex517 You know he is faking it right? I don't appreciate that... ruclips.net/video/Iu8IRAu4EzE/видео.html
Poor man is struggling.
He’s in pain.
But he isn’t letting it stop him.
But he is the definition of a fighter! He can do it!
Parkinson’s tried; he’s having none of it. Live rock and roll is amazing! Atta Michael
He's just too bad ass.
Parkinson’s typically causes tremors, not pain. “Letting it stop him” is perhaps a poor choice of words. It’s not stopping him.
@@Justyna_N It's sure as hell not helping him.
Damn if only he would have said "I guess you're all not ready for this, but your kids are going to love it".
Almost cried there for a second. 🤣 This is one of the coolest things I’ll probably ever c in my lifetime. Michael J. Fox deserves his 💐 before he leaves this 🌍. The man is a National Treasure imo. 💯
For a second. I cried throughout
Bawled like a baby I did lol
Last night, Darth Vader came down from Planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out, that he'd melt my brain.
Haha!
Hahaha. I, for one, liked that part of the movie. Big star trek fan
oldskoolmacboy Well, lets just keep the Darth Vader brain melting stuff between you and me, alright?
Let's keep the brain melting to ourselves. :-)
Ты про что? По русскому можно?
This was a beautiful gesture.. Seriously gave me chills when MJ came on stage, such a legend! Best movie series probably ever, love from South Africa!!🇿🇦❤
Amazing. Another RSA fan
So fun to see Michael up there serving up some "johnny B. Goode" all these years later. nailed it too, respect to all!!
Alright this is an oldie!

Always a soft spot in my heart for Michael J. Fox. Just a good dude.
God bless the guy. He refuses to give up!🙏

Fucking right it is
You should checkout his zoom call the cast did a little back to the future reunion.

One of my childhood idols, what an honor to see him played that guitar like he knows best!! A real heroe!! God bless you Michael J. Fox (aka Marty McFly)
The man has Parkinsons and still shreds 1000000% better than I ever will. Love back to the future!

Power to Coldplay for having him join them onstage! It shows true class and compassion

My grandpa has Parkinson's and can not move anymore. Michael J. Fox has Parkinson's and is still playing guitar.
Keep it up
edit: my grandpa died one month ago 😪 (May 2021)
My father-in-law got Parkinson's at age 79 and only lasted 3 years until he passed. When we asked we were told it is different when you get it at a young age compared to getting at an older age.
My mom got parkison at 51 :(
Give him a weed brownie see if it helps. It has others.
He had it in back to the Future as well
GET HER CBD OIL!!!!
i never actually knew he could really play guitar until tonight, love back to the future films
mark taylor If you watch the Enchantment Under The Sea Dance part of the film, you can see that he had Standard and barre chords down.
Michael is tough. If he wants to do something he finds the strength. I admire him, love you Michael.
I was definitely ready for this.
And my kids love it.
MJF Is such a role model, I mean the dude has parkinson's and still has the guts to play guitar in front of thousands of people.
It was later determined that Coldplay did NOT watch Fox for the changes, and ultimately, failed to keep up.
You win
Hahahahahaha. Awesome.

he has been playing guitar since he was 14 yrs old.
This is probably the only time I'll ever Like a Coldplay video. Not really a fan of them but much respect to them for this.
