I thought the options were very clear. Just get the voucher and check into the hotel provided. Free accommodation and meals. The airline will charter a shuttle bus to collect passengers back to airport next day. Whatever letter will be issued later if their concerns were about claiming insurance.
The reason given has been very clear, two options to choose go hotel or stay at transit for overnight everything is arrange including ur Luggage all the follow up has been processing, why keep asking stuip questions, even ask please one by one.. at least u guys being hold inside the hold area which is still with AC I been inside the aircraft without AC for 3 hours plus due to fixing of AC do I complain, either departs now, today or tomorrow I rather reach in one pieces than reach in ⚰️, please dun self entitled urself either u take up the two. Options provided for you or u can find other way to go home on time, private jets, 🚤 or high speed train 🚆.. know ur limitations rights.
Kudos to SCOOT and Changi airport staff for your professionalism. We recently had the unfortunate experience of having missed our connecting flight at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. We expect to see KLM or the airport staff waiting at the arrival area. There was no one waiting , all the airport shops were closed, most of the lights off. We managed to make our way to KLM operations office after we had cleared the immigration. KLM staff handed each pax a postcard size card with QR code in several languages. We were told to scan the language we prefer. We have to arrange our own accommodation, make our way by taxi pay first and then submit our claims. . As we have bought our travel insurance thru KLM insurance agent we thought it would be a straightforward matter. But ....
if they were in other airports or airline in other countries, they will not be treated this well. Weather conditions cannot be predicted. They are lucky Scoot has another to ferry these passengers tontheir destination. There many operational and techinical procedures to prepare an aircarft for safe flight. It is for not so simple.
No matter what class plane you took, they want to make everyone to be safe and be alive. Care yourself and your health. Be safe everyone and I know you miss your family but there will be someone always wait for you to come home safely. Be happy
I believe no captain wants to fly the plane if it is not 100% safe for his passengers and his crew members, you will never know what will happen to the plane.
These guys will faced the most aggressive airport tactical security teams when situation goes out of hand or about to . This lad was so chill and well Manner for an obvious reason is to calm the passengers down as much as possible, otherwise when the tactical security team steps in will be not as good as it looks in the video. Singapore’s Changi airport is the best airport in the world for a reason.
I hope they didn't chant, "Go back India" the next day. Some time ago, there was a similar delay for a group of Chinese in Abu Dhabi I think. They all chanted in broken English, "Go back China."

Sometimes - worse. As in this case. That staff spin is standard well rehearsed budget airlines talk and scripts. You have paid for a seat Changi to Amritza. Full stop. The rest is touch and go as budget airlines invariably do.
