    Soon as someone says calories in calories out doesn’t workDo you know that they have zero credibility no matter how good they are and everything else. If he’s not smart enough to know that the calories out portion can be adjusted with hormones and therefore calories in calories out always works then what can you actually trust from this person.

    • @Editor_Steve
      @Editor_Steve 2 года назад +25

      Calories in stays the same. But weight goes up? Oh dear...Pubmed after 2005 says CICO doesn't work? NO. Pubmed says that calories out must have dropped. The equation doesn't change. As studies evolve all that evolves is we find more on more confounding variables that influence both sides of the equation. The equation that doesn't change.

      Are all calories treated the same by the body?
      Or
      Would 2,000 daily calories of soda and candy affect a person in the same way 2,000 daily calories of prime rib?

    • @Editor_Steve
      @Editor_Steve 2 года назад +15

      @@burkelanthorn4769 yes. Just like my response said, when u tweak the variables you tweak the outputs of equation. The body doesn't use them the same therefore calories out changes. Types of macros are just 1 more confounder, along with hormones, gender height age cortisol, sleep and so on. The issue is those that present this simple knowledge present it in a way that has creates a never ending debate that should never have existed because the two sides say the same thing yet 1 side uses the evidence as "proof" calories in calories out isn't true. When they've done nothing of the sort.

    1) How many people actually weigh all their food to the gram and are dead on with calorie intake?
    2) How many people weigh themselves daily to track scale trend based on their calorie intake to find true maintenance?
    The answer to both is not many. People tend to guesstimate their calorie intake and use BMR online formulas with activity multipliers to guess their maintenance.
    If someone actually weighs all their food, and establishes their true maintenance, they will lose weight on a deficit. It's that simple. If they're not losing weight it always comes back to user error.

    If anyone is wondering, And Y question on why he was tired after getting caught in the rain, its because water conducts heat 20 times better than air. So especially if you are unprepared with clothing, you would be losing heat at 2000% the rate you normally would. And this is discounting the fact that cotton when wet not only doesnt provide any insulation, it provides negative insulation (which is why cotton is so great in the summer, it absorbs sweat and cools you faster than if you were naked). So if you were to be wearing a cotton T shirt it would be even more than that.
    So the answer is thermoregulation. You are burning far more calories than normal in an effort to maintain body temperature. Especially because this is a trigger evolutionarily, as hypothermia is one of the greatest threats to an animal like us without any natural thermal protection.

    I discovered the double inhale and exhale on accident when I was a teenager. I use it when I run marathons and before heavy lifts and it works wonders.

    Now that I know that Andrew has been on TRT since the beginning of the year, I really notice that just a year ago his face looked significantly younger and less androgenic than now. But of course he still looks very good, just more mature and even more masculine.

    58 years old over here with a natural high level of testosterone. My endocrine system crashe 10 years ago resulting in very low T, high hemaglobin. After applying appropriate dietary and exercise changes my T has climbed year on year during this last 10 year.
    I'm in recovery from drug use, been clean for 9 years. I'm now the strongest, fastest I've ever been. My RUclips channel documents this progress.

    Testosterone cream can safely be applied to fatty areas of body (those areas that DON’T come into contact with children, pets, partners, etc…) 2 hours before said areas come into contact with anyone. Application should be rotated, ie., don’t apply it to the same fatty area every day. Wash hands after applying it and this way there is no danger of accidental contamination 🙂

    Wait I don’t get that. If stress doesn’t lower immune function than why is cortisone (synthetic cortisol) used to suppress inflammation?
