    This is really interesting, I am trying to decide on the best way to animate the face of my platformer character and this is really useful since I wanted to keep the rig less complex.

    So the head model has no skeleton, correct? If yes then how can I use this on my character models? Could I just export my character models with skeleton + shape keys for face only? What is the correct approach here?

    This is fantastic! The only problem I am having is that I can not add Morph targets like this to Mixamo rigged characters and combine them with Mixamo MoCap... Or can I?

    Cool, how may we attach the morph targets to Control Rig sliders instead of GUI sliders?

      1. Create a 2D Vector ControlRig control
      2. Get its Transform
      3. Set the "Curve Value" using one of the axes of this Transform
      4. Select one of your Morph Targets from your Skeletal Mesh in the Curves dropdown of the Curve Value node

    Thanks for this video. Do you know how to use sliders to play through an animation? I would like to connect a slider to my animation and when I drag the slider it runs through the animation. Let's say you import an simple cube animation with translate and rotation from Maya that you have done. Then you connect the animation to the slider in Unreal. How do you do that, can't find any info about Driven, or Run or Play your animation with a UI slider for Unreal anywhere? Can look into this? Thanks in advance. Hope for a reply.

    please you can make tutorial about character pick up weapons after uses weapons buttons (hot keys).
    I am really so want to making characters which equip 5 weapons. But, I can't make this.
    People only uses for this situation inventory system. I am just wanted make characters which equip 5 weapon... For example, each weapon was seen on the back of a character - shield, sword, hammer and pistol. Each button activate a weapons.

    With your different targets are they the same topology or can they be different and will it still work so can you morph from one mesh to a different mesh?

    Do you know if it's possible to do the same with the meta human feature? Because it does come with separate head meshs

      Maybe would need to look into it, but if you can export the meta humans heads it should be possible

    Does the morph target corresponding to a root shape have to be the same model with similar dimensions? For example, If I had a model of a baby and keyed it to an adult (Ideally - I think - you would want to have more stages in between) would this be possible?

      Technically it would not matter and it could morph into that shape, although ideally they would be similar

      It's possible as long as the baby & target adult has the same vertex count and vertex ID.

    I do not own the game, but in The Isle there is seamless growth meaning from a cute baby dinosaur with proper proportions with time grow and transform into a totally different model (or models). I wonder if they did that with the same mechanic...

      It's ridiculous. What an embarrassment of UI design. Other programs figured this out in less that 5 steps. Whoever designed this monstrosity of a workflow should be fired and banned from ever designing anything ever again.
