This is what I needed, thank you Sally for your easy advice and showing us how to stitch words. I had forgotten how to do this as I have not done any stitching for more than 60yrs. Slow stitching has given me joy to start being creative…although I am a real novice. Rosemary
I have been practicing letters and would love to master it one day. Thank you for showing your techniques. I will now implement couching and keeping an extra threaded needle as I sew.❤
This has brought me back to my childhood again, when we was learning to handwrite, wonderful...the backstitch you done was either whipped or interlaced backstitch. Thanks for sharing I can do lots of things now ❤ Ann 🏴
Have'nt used couching stitch for a very long time made a dilly bag in high school as a sewing project. Wanted to do something other than stem stitch. Blue and white check and the couching was in white thread. Used an old treadle sewing machine at school. Thanks for the memories.
Thanks for showing us Sally, the hints and tips for this, as I have no idea. xxxx
Thanks Kristy 🌸
