Bold of you to assume the execs care about the long term future of the company. They might be working for the competition in a few years too...
speaking as a dev
be kind to recruiters, everyone is trying to feed their families and not die
I've always liked recruiters, because I understand their job and role. It's good to be nice to people who can do you well or harm you.
I hate recruiters. They're spamming the heck out of my inbox. While I'm clearly not looking for a job.
They lie to get you excited for a job that's not even there. They sometimes even pretend they work at a company and are "not a recruiter". But when I google their name, I find out they clearly are a recruiter.
All they want is a commission and it doesn't matter at what cost.
This just shows that recruiters, or anyone in HR really (unsurprisingly) don't really understand that the only people they're hurting in their petty vendettas are actually the people who have the most to lose in the company itself. You can bet the executives will get a nice little paycheck and end up somewhere else as if nothing happened.
Very interesting, good format for a video
