Oh wow, thanks for posting this. I now realize my driver side, back wheel bering is even more shot than yours was. I thought it was the brakes at first, but then I instinctively did what you did at the beginning of your video and man does mine have some serious grinding vibration when I spin it loose, wow. Thanks for posting this, I'm ordering a new one right now!

thanks for the video, helped me know what I was getting into, the job was easy and well worth doing yourself over what they would charge. Also, for what it's worth, the socket I used to remove the hub nut was a 32mm. I have a 2007 accord 4 door exl, 4 cylinder, 5 speed. Since there was so much question among commenters about whether it was 32 or 39 mm, I thought I'd share what mine was. Oh and it was what was wrong with mine. I was getting a lot of noise that I at first attributed to tire noise, but then I noticed the noise didn't change in pitch or anything when I went over different types of road (such as concrete like on a bridge to asphalt on the road) and it seemed to be a little louder when I was going around corners (which made sense to me since the bearing would have more load on it and such). Anyway, after replacing both (although my passenger side didn't need it, the culprit appeared to be the drivers side), no more noise. Thanks again.

That was a great video! Glad to see down below that you now have jack stands and a better jack. My 2003 Accord is howling away and I think it is the rear passenger bearing just like yours. Your video is giving me some courage to go work on it myself.

Perfect. Thank u. U Rock. I did hear the sound after I got new fallen tires, and the sound kept getting louder and louder. I knew it had to be something with the bearing, the thought of how much it would cost was killing me. I decided to search and hopefully find something to he'll me out and do it on my own if it wasn't tok hard. Thank u thank u so much.

Very nice video. Well done. I will attempt mine this weekend with my dad. My drivers side rear started making noise but I drive the highway daily and my '07 Accord has 123k miles on it and this is the first it needs as far as I know.

Hi, handy video, thanks. Might be useful to mention that when I did our 2005 Accord estate rear hub bearing, the centre nut holding the hub on is slightly larger than the saloon. I think the saloon is 32mm, when I did our estate (tourer) it required a 35mm socket.

Great video! Just enough detail. The size of the nut would be helpful, but otherwise perfectly documented procedure. It's going to save me $300 on my 05 Accord with 150k miles. Thanks again!!!

Thanks for the video. I have to change the rear wheel bearing on my sisters 2013 Honda Accord. Its a lot easier in the rear, don't gotta mess with the axle..

Thanks for the video! It showed the sound and movement of a bad bearing-hub assembly! I am pretty sure the two in the rear of my 2001 Civic are shot (230k KM and are factory) and was at a loss for what to check when I go to rip it all apart to inspect them.
