Just did my 96"rear drum brake non-abs sedan" thankfully it went as easy as you showed. Thanks for the veideo. Rented socket for hub bolt from autozone for 83 bucks. Took 10 min total to jack car up, remove, and install , put back tire. Got the hub for 45. Diy success. note . I will have to replace the drum brake set and the cylinders because I noticed brake fluid
what to do if the drum is rusted on there real tight? Even the threaded holes are rusted, not able to use bolts to push the drum out.... A good whack of a hammer can solve the problem?
I need to do mine. It is 2000 LX 2.3L 4 cyl. Well, it looks like you don't have to mess with the drum brakes! Don't have to take them off at all. Is this true? THEN.... I'm in luck!
Can you guys help me I have a set of rims that belonged to my 94 civic coupe si y want the same rims to be on my 2001 accord v6 hiw can I go abouts to do that it don't matter if I have to buy new hubs weels
... I just had my rear hub bearing replaced on my 1999 Accord EX, ... and I've noticed something that many videos show that my mechanic didn't do and that is grease before putting the new Hub on. ... so my question is are you supposed to always grease b4 putting hub on, and since he didn't will that be a problem for me down the road?
whenever removing drums, rotors or hubs you wanna clean off any parts that contact the hub face so you don't have any brake runout....you want the hub face and/or rotor or drum to be totally clean of any rust
he did basically when the tab lines back up to where it used to be it's close enough. I go a lil more so I have a new piece I can fold over. it's not life or death here
Thank you for showing how the front ones were a bitch Akeebono set up not Nissen style..but this rear is a swift job... was hopeing i didnt have to break dwn the whole brake assembly.. Thumbs up...
Dealership quality work. Did not torque it to specs, well you can see how young he is. Doesn't have enough experience mechanic, good luck to the owner☹️
What Honda dealers charge and they dont even torque anything to spec lol. Good luck to the owner when they try to take the impact tightened lug nuts off.
Basically just bent the hub by overtorquing the lug nuts with that impact gun. That's what happens when the Honda techs have no oversight. They just assume the kids know what they're doing.

This channel has got some potential, just promise me you will replace that leaky air hose.

VONN It will be fine. It just helps to lube it so it slides right on.

can you guys do a vidieo a 2006 honda accord let me know thanks
pedro rodriguez front or rear?
Nice video amigo 👍🏻
no torque specifics?
134 lbf-ft Or just hit it with the gun.
134 lb or you will be wearing out the bearing sooner...don't use an impact gun on any bearing holding bolts ever
At Honda? No - everything, yes everything is "ra-tat-tat-tat-tat" because of the high volume and time constraints, well except for engine head bolts.
Would these hubs fit a 2001 civic..??
Luis Mejia It the same most likely
Ur not going to toque that axel nut to specs?

if he does that to his own car imagine what he does to others cars...you'd think he's torque it correctly on camera
Yeah, don't try to bust that nut loose with a 1/4 inch wrench, you may end up with a puzzle inside your 32mm socket. ✌😂
LOL! Perfect

That's what I'm saying my boss would of killed me if I didn't torque that shit down right! I learned that shit in Automotive School right off the bat.
Its 134 lbf-ft also its his own car. It will be fine.
@@RedLineBandits but you wayy overtorqued it....probably 300
Wish I could feel how dicked it was. Lmao
(Disliked for foul language).
