I noticed like just a bit earlier when I was rewatching the ending that I noticed the song at the end said "backroom" (no duh when the title is litterally called "in the back room").
And from what I could gather, the song IS actually referring to "the backrooms". And it's very fitting what what happened at the end of the episode.
