This is spot on and very well done. Some people that really fit the example of what Ross explained is Jim Jones and David Koresh. Also, many people with NPD have an all or nothing approach to religion. just like these two did.

Yes... I typed in the search the religious are gaslighters and I wasn't disappointed. After being in a relationship with a hiding-polyamorous Christian (they're really good at hiding their toxicity by the way, so good that I didn't even know while living with them and being their supposed only) I have been re-affirmed to never value religious values but values based off science. Everyone I know who is an atheist/agnostic has way more values and follows their values way more than anyone I've met who is religious.

Religion is narcissistic, it is synonym for narcissistic abuse. I am not talking about beliefs, but religion. Every religion.

I have a comment on the saved and forgiven one. I am a Christian, and I do believe that when we accept Jesus as our savior, we are forgiven. BUT, it also means we repent, that our heart is truly sorry for what we did, and we turn from that sin....meaning we do not repeat it. It is NOT a get out of jail free card if we continue in that action.

Thank you. I agree with what you said as a Christian. And also see that Dr. Rosenberg is actually quoting the bible. Mathew 23 and maybe 24? Jesus was so angry about the religious hypocrites. He had such gentleness towards the tax collectors and prostitutes.I feel same as Yesuha and Rosenberg, Gas-lighters are intentional manipulative hypocrites.

This is so interesting because my latest fall off the deep end was over loving sinners. I am a "bad" person and undeserving of love because I don't feel unconditional love for my ex and my rapist. The whole Enlightenment, everyone is 1 theory. That because I am still not OK with what happened to me, that because I feel anger, maybe even hate, that I don't deserve love. The idea that we are All sinners so not Loving those sinners is why I am a sinner. I just can't be grateful for being raped and I do NOT in anyway see it as a gift or love.

I would like to hear the whole seminar. He just described my ex-wife, along with her mother; two sisters, and her daughters. They all would do vengeful and cruel things, blaming their victims and playing the victim at the same time. My ex- tried to convince me and everybody else I was bi-polar and dangerous. The thing that saved me was it was the TV and movie version of bi-polar and bore no resemblance to the actual disease. She even got the pastor of the church we went to and several lay counselors and a professional psychologist to help her with it. She even messed with my prescriptions, I have chronic pain in my neck and back, to get the doctors to try to treat me for her version of 'bipolar' I nearly died from the side effects and a bad drug interaction. Was she trying to kill me? I don't know. It really messed with my mind and I still have memories that are severely painful from that time. She did get arrested and charged with domestic violence eventually.

Mr. Rosenberg, sorry, I disagree with your last statement.
If narcissists weren't aware of what they do and the harm they're causing, they would not be half as effective.
In order to cut deeply into our core, they need to understand the concept of emotional pain and know what individually hurts us the most, and that is percisely what they'll target. If a butcher doesn't know how and what to cut, he'll end up with spear-ribs, but never with Filet Mignon or Rib Eye Steak.
And of course they care what happens to us, that is why they deliberately inflict pain. They want our pain. They enjoy our pain so much, they are unable to hide their smirk. Matter of factly our suffering is so rewarding to them, they cream their parts.
Good people not being able to fathom the extend of the Narcissists perversion and sadism, and therefore excusing them with "they don't know what they are doing" is part of the Narcissist's calculated agenda. Without our "blindness" they couldn't get away with what they do, and they know this.
Any person deciding whom to abuse and whom to be nice to is fully aware of what he/she is doing. Frightening the victim into silence and time and energy consuming smear campaigns, so no one beliefs the victim in case he/she does want to tell, are further proof they know what they're doing. Someone who doesn't know what he/she is doing, does not seek damage controll, simply because he/she also is not aware of the consequences of his/her unaware doing.

Do you think all Religious leaders fit into this category . What I think the problem is when people judge other people rather than be a brothers keeper . One must not exalt himself above anyone else . If you can keep that perspective then you can stay away from being a narcissist in my opinion

Children of male Narcissists reach out for perfection, and the HEAD of household has his cult, turns the children against the mother, HONOR THY FATHER..... (forget the weak, emotional mother)

so would you say that doing wrong to your wife and children by joining a satanic cult is a good thing? seriously he put us in danger! Him sleeping around was the icing on the cake. STOP TRYING TO MAKE GOD LOOK BAD to justify your own wrong doing! you have no idea what we have been through

Deedee Neri The Word of God cant be misinterpreted unless it NOT read by the ppl this person is telling to you.. The answer to this is KNOW YOUR BIBLE, there are ppl on pulpits that do this, members etc... God is a loving and very explanitory in His word... The Bible teaches us to correct OURSELVES and seek YE first... it never says seek to condemn anyone... It says share the gospel and its peace, so sweety by knowing your word you not only will be delivered from the gaslighting but The Word of God will EXPOSE the narcissist... Once you speak the truth they will be silent...

Ericka Watson do you remember? scripture also clearly points out to bring into light what is in dark. The Apostle Paul did this when correcting the church of Corinth for their sin. John the Baptist judged and reprimanded an unclean marriage between Herod and Herodias. You see we are to preach the Gospel but we are also to expose the sin and judge righteously as John 7:24 states. Some are not aware of the sin they commit.

    • @erickasimonewat
      @erickasimonewat 7 лет назад +2

Deedee Neri Amen, absolutely!! I totally agree, Paul said Judge ALL things and try the spirit by the spirit. I was just meaning to clarify what the video was saying and to point out, that trying the spirit by the spirit, would prevent a believer from the gaslighting of someone dealing with The Jezabel Spirit. We all fall short, but you are absolutely correct, we are supposed to expose the lies by speaking the truth, this Jezebel spirit is allies with the spirits of fear, manipulation, pride, lying fornication, adultery and who knows what else,so if they dont receive it, then as Jesus commands, shake the dust from your feet and let your peace be returned to you. We dont have the power to choose light for another mans soul, but we are called to share that light and offer His peace. Bless you sister, and i pray your stregnth in Christ Jesus and ask that you pray mine as well.
