Could very well be two different things. She had mental health issues and nobody wanted to hurt her. Keith dropped her off after their discussion and being in obvious need of help wandering down the street she was picked up by a predator.

    • @DRF-rg5qy
      @DRF-rg5qy Месяц назад +26

Yes, the entire narration (and description of her behavior) fits extremely well with a diagnosis of schizophrenia. At 18 she was within the typical onset age, which often involves a sudden psychotic break after a prolonged prodromal stage with mild and transient symptoms. When she disappeared she would have been highly vulnerable to exploitation, accident, abduction, or even self-harm. Unfortunately, it often happens that the judgment of acute onset schizophrenia is missed during an initial mental health examination, especially (as in Tammy's case) if pre-onset behavioral and psychological functioning has been healthy and successful.

Strange how the police just let that Keith guy off so easily. These days he would be the main suspect. I think it was either that Keith guy possibly paid to lure Tammy away from her house. Perhaps that's why they were arguing in the car he might have let it slip then when he dumped her in that parking lot the dealers picked her up. But she could have also set this while thing up to get away from an overbearing mother who was just using her as well. Perhaps she had enough of show business and wanted a fresh start. She seemed a lot smarter than she ever let on and with wanting to become a nurse instead. But not contacting her sister after their mother died puts a hole in that theory unless Tammy herself died before she could make contact. It's one of those mysteries that has a high chance of never being solved fully.

According to Unsolved Mysteries, after she was dropped off by Keith, she left multiple messages for her aunt. If Keith has an alibi for his time after those messages were left, then that may have ruled him out in the eyes of the police.

They have these same “parties” in Universities. I was invited to one in 1981 at Macalester. The football team players were from New York and hard core druggies who were going on and on how important it was to make the bathrooms on the dorm floors unisex. A lot of things have played out over the decades to make sense of the nonsense that was present in those weekends. I was given a special drink and weed and it all seemed so innocent, until it wasn’t.
After I made a fuss one of the guys began talking to me like a high powered lawyer how “in situations like this I could just speak to the other guy’s family council for a settlement and I would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.” Mind you, we were all 18-19ish. Things to consider:
1 ) the clinic cleared her - yes the clinic could have done a shoddy job of evaluating and 72 hours observing her, but the fact is they did clear her and release her.
2 ) she didnt tell the police that she worried her life is targeted, also she didnt tell her mother the details of what she saw, she told no one the details - that means she has been threatend to stay silent or her mom would be harmed too, that is what that indictates to me, most wont speak if they worry that speaking would endanger a loved one.
3 ) has anyone considered witness protection? maybe she reached out and didnt tell anyone, maybe that is what she and her friend Kieth, did that day she disappeared and why he refused to be interviewed for Unsolved Mysteries when they did an episode covering her case? Has the police ever released the details Kieth's statements? I doubt it.
4 ) all accounts about Tammy's behavior is hearsay, opinions from her family and friends. Tammy is not around to defend her behavior nor explain it. Something to think about.
But without her remains, no body, no evidence of her, she is completely gone.

Going to add that the extreme changes of behavior after the party and the fear of being poisoned that arose post party indicate to me that she probably was drugged, and possibly assaulted at said party. Couple that with the "elites" being accused and you have a good sketch of what might have happened, and the reason she was vanished. The "she might have been three months pregnant" revelation in the video lines up with it as well.

The conclusions make zero sense. A random abduction, possibly from someone who offered her a ride and whom she felt comfortable with getting in the car (perhaps the woman who called the police*) and then murdered is the most plausible explanation since she was seen walking down a highway barefoot by several witnesses, and it was her demand to be let out of the car, not his. A random drop off would preclude her being targeted unless these hypothetical someone's just happened to be driving down the same highway she was walking at the exact same time AND recognized who she was while driving then dragging her into the car in broad daylight w/no one noticing would be an awfully big coincidence. Sounds to me like she was given G H B at the party and subsequently assaulted, something that wasn't commonly known about in 1983. That would explain her sudden behavioral change and paranoia about being poisoned. *There are plenty of examples of husband/wife teams kidnapping women.

Clearly mental health issues with Tammy leading up to her disappearance. She had issues separating reality and fantasy her reaction to a staged shooting on set is not normal, smashing the windows on her own home, the paranoia of being poisoned, people are out to kill her, argument with Keith leaving the vehicle barefoot. I'd lean more to death by misadventure she needed medication possible schizophrenia. A rational individual would be able to articulate exactly what they saw and why people are out to get them, we don't get any of that from Tammy. Unfortunate that her body was never found or properly identified so we are left with speculation. I just don't see evidence that anyone was out to get her, it's possible that she ran into someone meaning her harm after leaving the car, she just as easily could of drowned been swept out to sea.

I think it is plausible that she was silenced for knowing something and I won't completely discount that theory, but I also think it's pretty likely that this could've just been a random act of violence as well. It could be that she was struggling with an undiagnosed mental illness, maybe something along the lines of schizophrenia. An unaccompanied, mentally ill woman walking down the road would be a pretty easy target for a sick person.

I love your show, but it seems you missed the mark on this one. There is no evidence linked to the crime. Also, it sounds like she was developing schizophrenia. She was the right age for it be in onset (18 to 21). Also, criminal enterprises in money laundering and drugs, those guys don't poison like she feared. Those guys shoot and stab. Further, if she did "know" something why didn't she say anything, she had lots of friends and family, telling a secret is the best step to protect ones self. But she kept this dangerous secret, most likely because her secret was schizophrenic paranoia. Her not brushing her hair before leaving for the beach is a detail that supports my theory, personal hygiene is the first thing to go with mentally ill people. It seems she wandered the streets of Florida, paranoid, and became a homeless person and died in abject poverty and metal illness. There is no body most likely because, as a vagabond, they travel and she could have lived for years being a homeless schizophrenic and died at the age of 40 or something completely unrecognizable.

What? Her mother's belief that she was murdered is definitely not the simplest solution. How do you quote a logical deductive principle only to instantly throw it out with one of the more convoluted explanations for what happened? The simplest answer is that she was suffering from a mental illness and possibly ran away or ended her life. That requires zero interaction with any other person, and thus, logically, that is the simplest answer. Murder, especially ones involving the upper echelon, is an extremely complicated answer. If you are going to use Occam's razor, then actually follow the logical process. Don't jump the shark. You can find a LOT of similar cases where people grow overly paranoid and start to suspect their food is poisoned in manic episodes. The clue should be that she thought home cooked meals were also poisoned, which isn't a rational belief even if you did witness a murder. SMH. Please don't pretend to use logical reasoning to make yourself seem smarter or to give your own theories more weight if you aren't actually going to apply the very principle you appeal to. This is the absence of logic, it's a logical fallacy. Which makes me feel like you are using other people's trauma to benefit yourself. Because you don't have a genuine desire to engage with these cases from a genuine logical point of view. It's low-key disgusting. I have watched 4 videos of yours, and 3 of them, you throw out logic in favor of fallacy to support your own opinions over the most likely logical conclusion. Maybe instead of saying "what most likely happened," you should just say. My opinion on what happened is, blah blah blah. Bastardizing logic and trauma for your own gain. Gross.

No one ever suspected her mother? Tammy had broken out the windows of her mother's home and according to her friends, had trouble at home and wanted to leave. Her mother was the source of most of the rumors and speculations in this case. Most of which are unsubstantiated. We are just supposed to take her word for it. She even tried to make Keith look suspicious by claiming Tammy was afraid of him. If she was so scared, why did she call him to come get her that day? Then there are those mysterious anonymous phone calls made to the police claiming Tammy was alive. Those calls came from a woman.

I never met her but I was living close by and spent a lot of time at Summers on the beach where part of the movie Sping Break was filmed. Not sure where on A1A she was dropped off at but I'm assuming anywhere between the Yankee Clipper on the south end of the beach and Sunrise Blvd where the Elbo Room starts the club scene heading north, The Candy Store a gay bar was there, Summers, a biker bar, there would have been people all over because no open container laws yet so you could wander from one club to the next, drink in hand. Weird Al was there and Jim Dandy from Black Oak Arkansas. I personally think someone slipped her some animal Tranq in a drink, but honestly anything could have happened to cause the paranoia.

Sounds like she had a mental break. Was given or took something at the party and it has sparked an episode. I think that is what cause the erratic behavior and paranoia. She didn't tell the truth about where she was going what was her relationship with Keith. Seemed to have alot of male friends. She could have taken off as Keith said, I heard many stories of people taking something or bizarrely just running off into the woods/water and either found drowned or still missing. I wonder what her and Keith were really doing as she hadn't brushed her normally groomed hair or took her bikini so that story does not make sense.
