I was just recently in China - Beijing, Shanghai & Nanjing. What a great place. Train ride was amazing. You cannot beat the Infrastructure in China. We north Americans are way behind in every which way.
Why can't we just enjoy the success of someone who may not share the same value with us? I know China has many problems of her own. But I see a beautiful train, no matter who made it, I would love to ride it. Let's be happy for them.
There are more than 200 high speed train services either way between Shanghai and Nanjing daily from 4am-11pm. Thats on average 5 mins per service. The cost is starting from around 15 USD per ride ( NO more than 25USD). The time for such travel of around 350km is between 70-120 mins depend on the services.

It is a good idea for people to visit Mainland China, regardless of whether for business or for leisure. Hong Kong was used to be the only city in China that westerners go to. Recently, there have been too many violent protests in Hong Kong. Tourists are not recommended to stay in Hong Kong. I am Chinese. About China CRH and Japan. We recognize that we are students, Japan and Germany are teachers. But this does not mean that students will never be more than teachers. There are some huge land in China. East - West, contains 5 time zones. South North contains four climatic zones. Our CRH can run in the tropical province of Hainan Province, and can run in the lowest temperature to 40 degrees below zero in the Northeast China, but also can run in the arid, windy Xinjiang desert and Qinghai province above sea level 3000 meters above sea level. Does Japan and Germany have such technology? And we have 20 thousand kilometers of high-speed rail lines. This is just the length of the building over the last twelve years.
Warrior Dev n fact, most of China's territory is not in China 3000 years ago, is it now to make these places independent? Hongkong from Qin Dynasty is China's territory, but by the British colony for a period of time so it is not the territory of China? Tibet is the China territory since the yuan dynasty. Taiwan from the Qing Dynasty is the territory of china. It is now our former government, the government of the Republic of China, which was occupied by the government of the Ming Dynasty in exile in the Qing Dynasty. If you continue to ask questions about the territory, I will tell you that most of the land in East Asia was once ours. Some of these land lost, and some have not lost. But there is no loss of land, is absolutely legitimate and reasonable, there is no question of whether the invasion of income
Warrior Dev And the territory we lost, I believe our future generations will bring them back into the territory of China. Like Sakhalin, Siberia, Vietnam, Mongolia at the right time. And guard the territory. As we protect our ancestral lands. Every Chinese is a cell in China. The birth and death of each of us is like a cell's metabolism. When he was completely restored, it was the time when the robbers had to pay the price.

Main difference is the CRH380B series is wider in size for five rows of seats. I’ve been traveled in this train for years from school to home during holidays. Always enjoy the comfort ride, but the seats cover is horrible for me on the second class. So I just travel with a air cushion to sit on now

And what are we busy at over here in India. Loot, murder, communal bigotry and gross indiscipline. Modi has no right whatsoever to stroll with his head held high and upright. The day he succeeds in bringing peace to this volatile land we will at least feel proud of even this as a great achievement. Satyamev Jayate. (Md. Israil.

I travel many times by high speed train from Shanghai to Nanjing and also many times on ICE in Germany from Frankfurt to Freiburg for my business trip. I was amazed the Chinese trains are equally good in all expects except the boarding procedures is strict with multiple security checks. While it is absolutely necessary for tight security screening before boarding but the process can be very tedious. In Germany it is much easier and convenient.
Alan Tam , the Chinese CRH 3 family are Seimens Velaro, same as ICE 3. Also, note that sinkholes are more deadly than transport incidents in China, so the screening is put to good use.

This must be the fastest (G Train). My wife is Chinese, and her brother is an engineer on the D Train. I’m looking forward to taking advantage of rail travel, when we go to China. It’s a really cool to me, since we have very little high speed rail in the US.
You should try to get tickets for the fuxing hao. They have a top speed of 350 kmh/217 mph (50 kmh faster than the other G trains) and have slightly more spacious interiors.
During the construction of the line the Western press criticized China for building Beijing-Shanghai HSR line saying that only very few Chinese will be able to afford the highspeed train ticket. Now it is said to be the most profitable line.

From the video, you dont see the speed that significant as more than 300km/h. It is becuase the window glass has been specifically designed to slow down the movement of the foreign objects outside the window to prevent passengers from fainting and vomiting. I found it out through one of the staff onboard as I travelled a lot from Beijing to Nanjing on the bullet trains. They are running much faster than you see. Without the special glass, you willl start to feel the faint, trust me.
The Beijing/Shanghai high speed rail is now profitable and it is approaching saturation within the next few years. It is possible the next high speed train between the two cities will be based on Maglev as China is working on its own Maglev technology at the moment and likely to be ready by 2020 or later. The likely speed is about 600 km/h.

I personally recommend transiting through Hong Kong to Macau, Shenzhen and Zhuhai (a city in Guangdong province) by the relatively new Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and the Shenzhen Bay Bridge, which is part of Asian Highway 1. Then, they can visit Shanghai and Beijing.
I believe US government is working on high speed rail. For example, they started to talk about L.A. to Vegas maglev and High speed rail from 1990. Hard working people, aren't they?
Alex Mikhailichenko There's this 10 mile long bay area rapid transit BART that was supposedly to connect SF to Antioch in N. Cal, 15 years ago. I think it's still under construction.
omg u are so fkin right
haha
US should spend more money on infrastructure instead of wars
It’s still being talked about 😂
Wow Amazing Train. Next SuperPower China. Love From Pakistan
Tipu Sultan I SURE IF YOU COME TO CHINA, YOU WILL FEEL LIKE HOME, WE ARE BROTHER

Murdered uighur people too
You are correct they're very skilled in eating live Monkeys,Dogs,cats,Bats..they don't let any creature.unfortunate thing is they are also human beings
Excellent, well developed and wonderful country. Really appreciated China.
I wonna travel in this train
Love from India 💗
Good video, thank you for the upload! The place lacks litter and graffiti. That is enjoyable to view.
In India once I travelled through a passenger train. I know it's slow train but it took 10 hours to travel 240km.
So many crossings, so many stations, I was exhausted.
This is not the same kind of railway. India railway needs to upgrade her system. China spent 10 years (1994-2004) to upgrade legacy railways and after they started to build high speed railway.
Bro Until we indians are a democracy trying to make every little section of society happy for votes...we will remain a shithole...a huge shithole in the globe. Nothing more than that. Even if it's Modi ruling for next 10yrs...he alone can't change everything. I can bet u that in 2030 too we will be a 3rd class shithole compared to China.

Had been in Nanjing few years back, it's a Great city with so much culture and tourist destination, so much fun here, missing old days in lockdown
K ko lagi janu vako thyo sujan jee?
California, which should have had a high speed train decades ago, has budgeted $70Billion + and has yet to get of Merced. The most dynamic country in the world is China!
Have already taken the train a few times to get from Beijing to Shanghai and back. In my opinion, much better than flying.
I used to try this high-speed train last month from Guangzhou to Shenzhen. It's really good, smooth and fast with reasonable price.
Too beautiful too fast too awesome too incredible love frm india..
This is just the length of the building over the last twelve years.

the tibetians are freedom now.
Warrior Dev like tibet.
China, which is made up of us, has been living for 5000 years. More than and 200 years ago he had a serious illness, it was robbed of something. He is now recovering. When he was completely restored, it was the time when the robbers had to pay the price.
This makes me want to do trip reports of my rail journeys, in addition to the flights! I have watched one of your European journeys and this one, I think it is interesting that are using the Siemens ICE 3's in both locations. Cool video!
I've experienced the railway system in Canada and US, it was unbelievably shallow and... old, terribly old.
Europe has kind of the same problem
he nayun i understand because the population is too dense in china,we are like Japan times 100
+uh wot via, built by Chinese.
Thats old...China now had its latest high speed train - the Fu Xing...
Give me a chance! I was on a HK to Beijing CR400AF Fuxing the week before last, the footage is still in the camcorder, I'll be editing that video next week...
Yes the CRH380B was originally the licensed manufacturing version of the Velaro. Later models are heavily modified for local usage. Main difference is the CRH380B series is wider in size for five rows of seats. I’ve been traveled in this train for years from school to home during holidays. Always enjoy the comfort ride, but the seats cover is horrible for me on the second class. So I just travel with a air cushion to sit on now
I hope one day China become much more better, have a peace , no war, no sick, everyone will have better life
Ming Wu 屁话
Ming Wu yeah then all soldiers, police, doctors and nurses become unemployed
Donate half of your asset to the poor in China and you probably will see that day come sooner.
Ming Wu thats when thry can shrink their population.
5 years Passed from video china now have 32000km high speed rail and it is still growing.
6 years already
Took that train, a few years great experience, from Beiging to Shanghai. So smooth to the second on time.
China always exceeds... Peace, Love, Prosperity...
except for the many prisons , executions, labor camps,
Dear Juju Rellama, If you try to update your statistics you will see that prisons and executions are very much less than western countries. You can find also that justice in first world countries is very much doubtful. By the way, you have a beautiful picture on your site, who is it?
Hatsoff to all Chinese comrades who are building magnificent civil, mechanical infrastructures.
Its so nice to see..Well something for Swedish railways to watch hehehe...This is impressive and makes me happy to see...
The stations are world class and technologically so evolved and developed. We in India feel so dwarfed and let down when we look at the technogical giant that China is.

China is doing well in all aspects.. Good luck.. from India..
waow what a wonderful sight #respect from India
Now new Fuxing bullet train only needs 4 hours 30 minutes from Beijing to Shanghai
Our(India) government should follow the policy of developing China instead of deveoped countries like usa or japan.
China is inspiration for developing countries. Well done china ,keep it up

I have gotten on the fast trail from Shanghai to wushu it was fantastic and the railway station was really upscale and modernized
Funny how it takes that long to get from london - scotland!
Uk public transport is under developed. Hsr should be the norm!
It's called being responsible to your citizens, something Europe is not very good at. Btw, I live in Europe and wish it had stricter security. It's worth for safety
and ICE much slower and unstable compared to chinese ones
Alan Tam will be more tedious when the terrorist threat get higher
China is a great. Chinease

Your videos are the best so far...

Thank you
Was here 2014...shanghai to beijing for four hours.whew!!!
Me 😂😂😂 too. I miss M1nt
During the construction of the line the Western press criticized China for building Beijing-Shanghai HSR line saying that only very few Chinese will be able to afford the highspeed train ticket. Now it is said to be the most profitable line.
They stil want to convince the western citizens that we still ride ox
Airlines were opposed because this was most profitable Chinese route. Now everyone uses train
the lucky thing is china gov. never cared about the bias report , blaming from western press. they just insist to do the things according 5, 10 years plan. don't need to struggling with the "bad things" previous President left and rebuild from stretch.
The train will pass a large low land area. This train will run over this area on a 164 km long bridge which is more than 10% of the whole distance. Google Danyang-Kunshan-Grand-Bridge and take a look.
Proud to be a friends like brothers of china.A lot of love and respect to our china from Pakistan. China is next superpower .🇨🇳🇵🇰

Please don't put all "westerners" in the same basket. What a French person has in common with an American?
What is important to see is where China was 10 years ago and where will be in 10 years time.
Congratulation to the Chinese an ancient civilization with very active presence in today's world , not many
countries can achieve that.

At 5:30, so glad to see my hometown. Welcome to China for all of you guys.
Wenrui Li i wish I could visit ur country..! I am from Nepal
When Tejas was introduced is in India people broke the LCD pannels and literally ransacked the train. I hope one day people understand the need for proper infrastructure and Civic sense.
Btw China looks cool.
Maybe they were CPI(M) members agitating on some political issue and ransacking or vandalising is the best weapon to be in the limelight.
Need to mention that you can order food in the train and at the next stop they will deliver it to you.
That train is really hot...wow. I love it. Wish we could have it from quebec to Montréal. Would take 3/4 of an hour. 👏
This train made by Germany
@@richie_bodo check the facts before you type. They are all Chinese made.

This video was 5 years ago and back then China already had Super fast trains...China technology never fails to impress me
You are wrong mate. This video is 30 years past. The video was shot in 1989. Incredible technology
That line began operation in 2011.
The development of the high-speed rail system in China is pretty amazing.
4 hours??? from Shanghai to Beijing??? That's fucking amazing

indian railways should improve a lot....learn from Chinese
truly they have a world class railways system..
The ID Squad don't worry bro already Japan railways has started bullet train corridor construction work in India between Mumbai and Ahmedabad...
Absolutely amaizing greetings from Ireland
Nice n fast n smoith train..India must start such fast trains between main cities..
I visited all 3 places where train stopped..Nanjing..Jinan n Shanghai..but by slow trains..25 yrs back.

Would be nice if the USA had this kind of rail system in place, years ago!!
I AGREE 100 %
U can also request the Germans. Chinese trains are bought out German trains.
Awesome! I am keen to try this when I visit China next time. Well done! China.
This is nonsense of course! ;0)
LOL and how much does the glass cost? LoL
Lim Chi ass is your behind. I think you meant as.
If you dont believe it, next time, you can request to sit on the top of the bullet train and take a look if you feel faint.
The cost can buy up the Manhattan.
i have to say, the CRH is much much better than the virgin train.
Yeah no duh
The Beijing/Shanghai high speed rail is now profitable and it is approaching saturation within the next few years. It is possible the next high speed train between the two cities will be based on Maglev as China is working on its own Maglev technology at the moment and likely to be ready by 2020 or later. The likely speed is about 600 km/h.

This was China five years ago according to the release date of this video! Impressive.
Compared to 20-30 years ago, the living standard and overall infrastructure of China have improved tremendously. Most Chinese people are proud of the achievement of their Government. This is a relatively safe country to live in.
What a beautiful train. If it was in india, people would have spat on it and would have coloured it already.
Yeah that's why it's a third world country no basic Civic sense & infrastructure
