- 30km long, it travels at 431kph or 268mph. I call the speeds in kph as we go. Watch it from the start as some of the parts where it's accelerating feel quicker than when it's at top speed.

Back in the days when you could get off from an international flight and be in Shanghai in 7 minutes. Now it takes 14+7 days.

Well the current fastest train in the world is TGV POS with a top speed of 575kmph
Technically, it’s only the Fastest “Wheel-based” train. L0 Series Maglev (Japan) goes 374 mph (601kmph).

@@neeharraut8441 That TGV was never put into service. It was an specially designed experiment designated Operation V150. It had a larger wheel diameter to limit the rotation speed and only carried performance equipment. This train doesn’t serve passengers.

Yes, that’s the average speed, which doesn’t account for acceleration/deceleration. The vehicle is only at 400km/h for a short time if I’m not mistaken
