That one dude from the Aranara quest where we either let him go or fight him-I kinda have a hard time deciding if I’m being honest, but I decided to let him go. Only to find out that his fate will remain the same. I still won’t excuse the dude for basically trying to harm a kid, but damn, that was such a dark turn.
honestly this quest line was SO good and so emotional? if it was voice acted and had some unique character models instead of the generic enemy ones I think it would 100% pass as an archon quest, imo at least… also rereading the dialogue I kind of wonder if Liloupar and Babel are meant to be parallels of a kind! Liloupar was a mother of sorts who killed her own children and destroyed the kingdom they built, and Babel’s twisted version of “motherhood” destroyed her tribe… also, if you happen to read this comment rednas: babel dropped something on the ground where she died, so don’t forget to look around there when you do exploration! I didn’t realize since I was distracted by the quest lol, and its helpful for exploration~
i really adore jeht. i love how the traveller has found family with jeht, and vice versa. its very nice to see the bond between them. i really REALLY hope nothing bad happens to jeht and that we claim her as family or sm in the future. itd be so nice to see. also rip tadhlaa.
When I played this world quest, I thought I myself “how the ever living hell do they make these giant ass crazy stories, and for some reason not get them voice acted?”
I stopped at Dirge of Bilqis for a loooong while cuz I didn't know the questline continued. Imagine the joy and horror that I felt when I learned that the questline continued, only for it to end up this way. It took me around a month to complete the entire questline following the Dirge of Bilqis cuz I genuinely had no idea that the narrative is continuous, but I did come back every week or so. The scene when Jeht confronted Babel will always leave me in tears cuz my girl has done all of these heinous things, tainted her hands, took the lives of the people she once loved and cared about, and cried over the blood that she, herself, has spilled just so she will be accepted into the tribe. Just so she can have a family again. Just so she can call the tribe her home. But then we see her get betrayed over and over and over again. It's such a heartbreaking moment cuz... what have they done. What have they done to Jeht. It always leaves me in tears cuz... this is no longer the girl I know from the beginning of the Golden Slumber. She had been turned into the worst version of herself, but I can't even begrudge her for it. I can't hate her for it. And I hate what they turned her into. She is no longer the girl that I once knew, but she'll still a friend regardless.
This quest was a ride and a half, I was 1200% not expecting literally anything that happened. Not the racist lamp, or the human trafficking and experimentation, and certainly not the murder of a whole tribe.
im still upset about Tadhla's death to this day :,) i remember that i almost cried when i had to fight Jeht(this was before i read my Objective) cuz i got reminded when i had to fight Tadhla :,,v
imo her death was super unnecessary. I kinda get why it happened, but we just met her and hoyo immediately made us get into a life or death fight with her.

I am watching it after doing Dehya's quest and suddenly have a theory that maybe Babel is Dehya's mother??? She was found in the desert and Babel mentioned that her daughter had been stolen by the sands - it might mean death or just being lost. Besides Babel is wielding the fire element right? and Dehya is fire too. Though the cat ears are the last puzzle piece but we don't know the father yet. Anyway back to watching this masterpiece of Mr Rednas. Seeing you struggle through the words is making my day somehow haha Genshin does make me wonder if I ever learned English properly at all.
Dehya does not have cat ears it's just her hairstyle like Keqing. Characters with real animal ears like Tignari, Gorou, Diona and Yae don't have human ears.

I'm not really into logical stuff so i couldn't figure out most of the puzzles myself and googling every single solution got tiring real fast.

I really hope soon Genshin can find more story telling ways other than “here is a character joining the traveller… oh no *monotone* they were a traitor/fatui all along!!” I get it’s one way to motivate plot but I after doing a Fontaine quest and coming back to this, then thinking back like majority of story quests all end this way and it was something I enjoyed maybe the first few times like Enjou I genuine thought was cool but now I just want “suspicious characters” to be good. I really wanted Azariq to just be a normal character after so many arcs like this. Sadly it’s one thing I doubt will change.
I also have a bit of bad news, I thought I finished this quest and then I was wandering around the camps (TODAY while watching this) and I fell down and saw a horrifying blue exclamation mark and it started another post quest related to this. the desert never ends

For Lumine: After they fight, they rest. Jeht sleeps peacefully next to the Traveler. Also did we mention she smells really nice? Like spices. Yum! She snores slightly and speaks in her sleep, looks like she's really tired. You know what comes next even without speaking to each other. For Aether: Jeht says "How dare you make me fight my friend?" to Babel. For Lumine: Jeht says "How dare you make me fight someone I cherish?" to Babel. Also that very subtle implication by Azariq that JEHT LIKES THE COMPANY OF LADIES rather than tall, strong bucks like himself. That one's the same for both Travelers but her response is not. For Aether she goes "you have a problem with that, bub?" and for Lumine she goes "shut up, you're giving them the wrong idea!" Paraphrased of course but these aren't even the only examples. She seems to talk a lot more with Lumine in general and drops some hints along the way. Dialogue implies she's having fun interacting with Aether but is really enjoying herself more with Lumine around. Man I hope they keep going with this and start making the twins more distinct in their interactions with other characters. It's good stuff, lots of potential. It doesn't have to be huge differences so that some people are missing out, but small stuff that gives some color to these characters should be appreciated.

I just hoped that we the Traveler will clear Jeht's name and tell the truth to everyone about Babel's evil deeds.
A nice small detail I've noticed is that Jeht has a slightly different dialogue for each Twin.
