I think that would be awesome, later down the line we meet her again and either she has a vision or we go on another quest with her where she gets her own vision. Although I kind of felt this would have been the best quest for her to get her own vision. But we will see.

crazy how my two friends have not finished these quests yet, sure the puzzles got a bit rough but both quests with jeht fr got me invested and it’s the only reason I have some amount of exploration progress in the desert

This was many months in the making. When I started on the original teaser trailer, it was just me and Bonny. In the end we had a full team of people with crazy talents! I learned an insane amount from doing this, and I realised this is what I want to do to make a living. But to do that, I need your help.
I actually did enjoy the fact that the Traveler (Lumine In this Case) doesn't bother holding back or isn't afraid to take out people trying to kill her and Paimon. The fact the HoYo keeps that stupid 12+ -rating nonsense when there's so many NPC deaths and dark themes is honestly kind of annoying. Just bare in mind that the Traveler in general is superhuman So a normal human being Unless their Really skilled or superhuman themselves wouldn't be able to parry or even hope to prevent being cut down by Lumine's sword there's a high chance she'd shatter their blade from the impact taking them down in the process, if she went all out. Second reason is that canonically Lumine Is the More aggressive and violent of the two twins she's explained to be the "Attacker", while her brother was the "Survivor" This stays true in the Fact Lumin Has higher base Crit Values,(her base Crit Rate is 3% higher, she also has faster attack speed animations and deals longer lasting reactions with her Anemo than Aether. While Aether has longer lasting stamina for Overworld Travel and faster Climbing mechanics. Lumine is also Ambi-dexerous while Aether is Right handed. Some important information to bare in mind. Also If possible I'd recommend perhaps following the story behind events within Inazuma as like Sumeru that area has a lot of side stories with some interesting NPC's. Another option is to showcase some more murder cases that could have to do with Primordial Water, within Fontaine that Heizou from Inazuma is called in with Yanfei acting as a lawyer for the family of the deceased, as she could also be called in from Liyue to handle this case due to the sensitivity on the subject, perhaps even being called in by Neuvillette himself as a favor for the family of the deceased as they couldn't afford a Lawyer otherwise and she owed him a favor or something.The incident could then involve the Traveler, Heizou and Yanfei teaming up to work on the case with perhaps throwing in a surprise witnes from another character acting as a witness of one of the disappearences that witness could be Clorinde who'd also assist in saving several detained "Test Subjects" one of which was a friend of hers and the deceased who also went missing... The group involved could be related to Missing women's case in the Fontaine Archon Quest, Yes the main culprit is found and caught but not all of his cohorts were, there's also a possibility of a "Copycat" serial killer imitating the crimes or worse improving on them. Nahida is also an option if you wanna say the traveler called for a favor and she communicates with everyone via long distance using some kind of communication device. These are just some ideas I'm presenting to you do with them as you see fit. Just remember to have fun while making it, after all who doesn't love a good murder mystery?
Not to undermine either but I honestly jumped in excitement bc we do see the traveler using dendro power during Nahidas second quest. After we didnt during the archon quest I was a bit bummed so it was a nice surprise.
@@Hesketh32 I had totally forgotten about that, tbh. I looked at some old videos, and the Traveler did use their dendro powers to help Apep. I still wish Hoyoverse had let the Traveler use dendro powers in a fight cutscene, that's what I really wanted to see and why I'm happy Subutai did so.

I still have hope we will get a vs Childe moment 2.0 where we see the traveler use multiple elements including dendro. After all they did the amazing cutscene from the akademiya extravaganza

This is actually the first major world quest i ever did, right when i started Genshin. I never even finished liyue, before i started this quest, about a month into playing, and mind you, by then id had only about 10 or so hours of playtime. The puzzles were a little hard for someone who had jjst started, but really terribly fun. Spent hours getting lost in the pyramids and sands. Love jeht. Love benben. Love this short. Thank you.

Idk if you have to finish Liyue for them but I've been doing Sumeru world quests without even having finished Inazuma on a secondary account. Golden Slumber is not locked behind a world quest
I can't tell you happy this made me! Jeht has such a sad tale, but seeing her in rage and ferocity in action, voiced with lines from the WQ with a face reveal at the end was amazing! I hope she gets a vision and becomes playable. I can't wait to see what your team creates in the future
First of all, this animation is AMAZING and the whole short has an excellent pacing. What I find really interesting however is the choice you made for Jeht's eyes - you made them AMBER. This implies that she is a full blooded descendant of Al-Ahmar (at least in your interpretation) and it would explain why Benben obeys her commands - he 'recognizes' her as a legitimate heir. Maybe you are not far from Genshin's official version, after all.

I always found it funny how Sumeru dealt with the concept of loss of loved ones and the connections we share in the present way better than, you know, Inazuma the nation where loss and depression was the forefront concept. This was a magnificent retelling of my favorite NPC's story. Thanks for doing Jeht's story some real justice.

there's only 2 good world quests in the game and honestly they are far better than the archon quests. kinda disappointing that the character quests too suck balls. majority of the characters doesn't even have anything related to the main quests.

@@axelxtreme3591 You have to complete the "Apocalypse Lost" world quest first (Unlocked by placing the five chess pieces in "Safhe Shatranj" location), then you will have access to Jeht's final quest by talking to Yuften (the anxious crocodile guy in the Tanit camps).

Jeht to this day is my favourite NPC's and will forever be on the top of my list of instant pull if she ever becomes playable. I really hope Hoyo doesn't just move on from her and forget her now that we moved to Fontain. Not to undermine either but I honestly jumped in excitement bc we do see the traveler using dendro power during Nahidas second quest. After we didnt during the archon quest I was a bit bummed so it was a nice surprise.
@@Hesketh32 I had totally forgotten about that, tbh. I looked at some old videos, and the Traveler did use their dendro powers to help Apep. I still wish Hoyoverse had let the Traveler use dendro powers in a fight cutscene, that's what I really wanted to see and why I'm happy Subutai did so.

I still have hope we will get a vs Childe moment 2.0 where we see the traveler use multiple elements including dendro. After all they did the amazing cutscene from the akademiya extravaganza

She deserved to be playable
This is actually the first major world quest i ever did, right when i started Genshin. I never even finished liyue, before i started this quest, about a month into playing, and mind you, by then id had only about 10 or so hours of playtime. The puzzles were a little hard for someone who had jjst started, but really terribly fun. Spent hours getting lost in the pyramids and sands. Love jeht. Love benben. Love this short. Thank you.
how did you even manage to get started on a world quest for sumeru even for finishing Liyue.
@@AashishPrajapati-nr2ox As soon as you open up the world beyond Mondstadt most of the world quests are just available except for the few that require the Archon Quests to be finished. Idk if you have to finish Liyue for them but I've been doing Sumeru world quests without even having finished Inazuma on a secondary account. Golden Slumber is not locked behind a world quest
Jeht was my favorite npc in the whole game. After she left i felt heartbroken. Thank you so much for choosing her and for the amazing work. ♥️♥️
I can't tell you happy this made me! Jeht has such a sad tale, but seeing her in rage and ferocity in action, voiced with lines from the WQ with a face reveal at the end was amazing! I hope she gets a vision and becomes playable. I can't wait to see what your team creates in the future
First of all, this animation is AMAZING and the whole short has an excellent pacing.
What I find really interesting however is the choice you made for Jeht's eyes - you made them AMBER.
This implies that she is a full blooded descendant of Al-Ahmar (at least in your interpretation) and it would explain why Benben obeys her commands - he 'recognizes' her as a legitimate heir.
Maybe you are not far from Genshin's official version, after all.

I just want to say bravo to everyone involved. Despite this being a world quest that didn't have VA, I always thought it was the most emotional one. I am impressed you were able to capture all of the important story beats and give them the shine they deserve.

I always found it funny how Sumeru dealt with the concept of loss of loved ones and the connections we share in the present way better than, you know, Inazuma the nation where loss and depression was the forefront concept.
This was a magnificent retelling of my favorite NPC's story. Thanks for doing Jeht's story some real justice.
What a true masterpiece! Everything from animation, to the sounds and music (watch it with a home theater system), the voice acting, and just everything is absolutely fantastic. This is what Hoyoverse should use to showcase the new world quests. It'll make more people want to play said world quests, instead of leaving them untouched or not coming to play them. there's only 2 good world quests in the game and honestly they are far better than the archon quests. kinda disappointing that the character quests too suck balls. majority of the characters doesn't even have anything related to the main quests.

@@axelxtreme3591 You have to complete the "Apocalypse Lost" world quest first (Unlocked by placing the five chess pieces in "Safhe Shatranj" location), then you will have access to Jeht's final quest by talking to Yuften (the anxious crocodile guy in the Tanit camps).

I loved this quest and I love Jeht as a character so much, this did her so much justice and is honestly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I wouldn't mind if the Genshin anime was like this. Wow incredible quality. I've never liked this animations in general because I thought they were original story and stuff but this... Is far beyond from what I expected. I just finished this story and it's beautiful and sad, I can't believe how different the game is in Sumeru.
