- I recently got the HRT LBAC Multi-role load bearing plate carrier. This is my technical overview of the unit. This is a considerable upgrade from their RAC carrier, which is what I was using.

Warning will contain jokes. Click away if you are sensitive. If you are not, please remember to interact with the video to help sprinkle it on gearflakes
Talking about the Tegris / cummerbund chafing, it occurred to me that even if you choose not to run side plates, you could take those pouches & put some 10mm trauma padding in there on the body side...and if you doubled up on it (20mm each side), that should be enough to prevent chafing
Video not available....
The stiffener stuff is called Tegris.
You said some padding on the straps do what I done I put Duct Tape on the top of it to get rid of the sharp point
Great content as always.
HRT is great. Happy I found them from the start and didn't have to deal with other stuff first. Got the RAC a few years ago. This makes me wish I waited, but better to have a RAC than not 🤣
Will get this next time I need something for sure. The Tegris (I think is correct name) seems great for lightweight and rigidty. Gonna get their mag pouches for next belt build also!!
Good show dude!!
Excellent review!
Thanks, very interesting.
I like the stiffener panels that go inside the channels... I have the rac carrier currently just need to update my plates
My first Carrier was an HRT. My second one… made my like my HRT even more. I need to get that sub gun msg pouch for my 45 Banshee!
I have the HRT rack and I honestly love it but thus is interesting. I need a rig for hunting though
Soab now I gota sell my carrier and get this one.
1) could some one explain the Tegris joke?
2) when I first got my plate carrier I threw out my tegris like and idiot had no idea what it could be for.
3) great channel we have a similar build so I will be copying you like a little brother
What podcast were you listening to about load outs?
That stuff is Tegris.... its a thermo plastic fiber
I've got a question not related to the video - do you know what happened to MattV2099? I remember you made some colabs years ago.
The price :D
Hello sir, i have a question, is the placard compatible to any plate carrier? If its possible what plate carrier should i buy?
I’m a retired nfl lineman (6’7 311lbs) will this carrier fit me in your opinion? HRT website says this particular plate carrie accommodates up to a 58 chest. I’m 53 inch chest and as you so elegantly put it well marbled. I just ultimately want to be comfortable ish in it with my 11x14 plates.
You might need to go the custom route. I know of 2 companies that can help you.
@@LRRPFco52 what are the companies?
@@jvan6582 Hussar Custom Works outside of Fort Bragg and me.
@@jvan6582 Hussar makes a really nice, comfortable PC.
How does it compare to the Defense Mechanism MEPC?
For the price difference I’d rather have the mepc. The lbac is about double the price. But that’s just my opinion.
What is that rifle sight?
It’s a Meprolight idk what specific one but that’s the brand. Do you happen to know what vis/Ir laser that is on the rifle?
You can’t access that backpack without removing your whole plate carrier. That’s a pregnant vest, and you don’t even have a radio on it 😂
Could just not run a pack and carry an assault pack, also have seen radios ran in the cummerbund, and plent of molly on the outside to run a radio pouch
Not a fan.... the HRT RAC is almost perfect with the quick release cummerbund
Unrelated, what happened to all the hooligans from back in the day?
Great joke, too bad for the monetization :=)
@vso_Gun_Channel, out not down, what yee be thinking of there, I wonder.
