    Speaking from a military and former LEO tac team member perspective, the pouches on the back of most carriers are typically meant for easy access for the team member in the stack behind you. I always carried 2 bangs on my back in pouches, next to a home made hooligan bar carrier. There is really no other use for the pouches on the back as you can not reach them yourself. You are better off with an actual backpack

      I can agree with that mindset. I like that they are thinking outside the box with it. I was really fishing for something to dislike. But to use your point to bolster mine: If for instance, you wanted to hang a blowout kit on it for someone to tear off in a pinch- wouldn’t it be easier to click a buckle and tear than to defeat 2 zippers and some snappies?

    Returning mine. Plates bag doesn’t cover the the whole plate. Will not work with plates that are thicker then 0.75 and any type of trauma Pad. Also plate bag IFAK also won’t fit well. Also the hook and loop is reversed versus most other Plate Carrier closures. Meaning the Roughside will dig into your plate and can start premature wear.

    • @VSO_Gun_Channel
      @VSO_Gun_Channel  2 года назад

      I have Caliber UHMWPE plates in mine with their trauma pad. They measure 1.05”. Trauma pad unmeasured. So that is inaccurate.
      If your plates don’t have a protective layer and you are worried about wear from the fabric, you bought wrong. Sorry man.

    • @aaronkeener95
      @aaronkeener95 2 года назад

      @@VSO_Gun_Channel I have the highcom plates. Which are step above calibers plate. The caliber level 4 and 3800 plates even have the same cover material. The hook side starts to remove material with any type of movement. So unless you have a hard coating on your plate carrier the HRT will remove material. Plates are 0.75. Even with the pad and plate IFAK it’s under the 1.25 HRT said was the limit. The back plate bag is bigger then the front one also. To where you have to fight to put the pad in. In about 20 or so videos were HRT has all giving people free Stuff. not one reviewer talked about this and some even stated it was made in the USA. Some have gotten rid of their HRT PC because they said just did t hold up or was junk but haven’t done an update video about that. ( I take that with a grain of salt as they re sponsored by another company ) If they fixed the hook and loop on the inside of the plate bag / made the flat wider. This PC could be a real winner.

    • @VSO_Gun_Channel

      @@VSO_Gun_Channel You stated I bought wrong. Meanwhile I’m pointing out to you that other companies have that same fabric cover on there including caliber which the HRT plate carrier hook digs into and removes material. So what are we doing here ? HRT told me that I should put it in a pillowcase so no material would be removed from the plate as they only use plates with hard coatings.
