If you can't afford armor, but bought a plate carrier anyways, just fill it with tannerite.
Ha ha ha
Ala aloha snackbar
If you add some type of water barrier between your body and the tannerite, the blast'll project more outwards
WTF. That was too funny. To any liberal out there he is right.
If you do that, you won't need to carry anything else...like American Express. If you are still confused, look for the video where the guy uses tannerite to bring down an old barn.

I'm a Crye guy. Love it. My bank account got a restraining order on me after I abused it with the withdrawal to pay for my carrier, Airframe helmet, and battle belt though. Still not on speaking terms.
Lmao I hear ya man my account filed for divorce !
Still waiting for my Airlite SPC!
How much roughly was did it all cost?
@@user-mj5ef7ym6x depending on your options anywhere from $3500 to around 5k for a complete 'Cage' system with all options for both it, the helmet, the high back battle belt, soft armor inserts for carrier and battle belt, load transfer system which transfers most of the weight from whatever you are carrying on your upper body to your hips reducing fatigue to your back. Honestly the sheer amount of options and customization is crazy. You can just get a carrier of course and that is up to around $1500 depending on what model you want/need. All I can say is be certain and realistic with what you really need. There are plenty of great kits out there that won't cost the equivalent of a down-payment on a car. Having said that, it's like getting ready for a mission wrapped in the Gucci of kits and equipment with top of the line functionality. Paying for the brand but also it's everything you ever wanted with no compromises because you are getting or not getting exactly what you chose after going through every option.
@@user-mj5ef7ym6x as always....Possible vs Probable......if anyone would want to understand this simple thing....All it's possible...BUT ...not ALL it's probable...so prepare for what's probable ,not what is possible.

That Buc-ee's patch is 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I hope they still carry them. Gonna head down to one next weekend!
Bro i just got out of buc-ees😂
If you want to skip through the repettiveness of the armor levels in the beginning skip to after 9mins
My suggestions for armor + carrier depending on your budget
>$200: Get a proper battle belt setup if you don't have one already
>$300: Get a chest rig
$300-450: Condor MOPC + RMA lvl IV Ceramics
$500-1000: Hesco L210s or RMA lvl 3+ Ceramics + Spiritus Systems Overt, Ferro Concepts Slickster, Varusteleka Sarma, HRT RAC, Esstac Daeodon, and various others.
If you've got the money to go super Gucci: Hesco 3810s or some legit grey market ESAPIs plus whatever the latest Crye carrier is or the Ferro Concepts FCPC.
Why level 4 in the lower budget and level 3+ higher? Are level 4 plates cheaper?
So lvl IV plates can be really affordable or crazy expensive depending on the materials, structure and manufacturer. You can get a pair of basic, certified lvl IV plates from RMA for under $300, but they're gonna weigh about as much as AR500 lvl III plates and they're a little bulky. On the other hand, you can spend like $650-1000 per plate for some really, really nice lvl IV plates that are going to be between 4.5-6 lbs per plate and be multi-hit rated
the repetitive explanation perfectly did the job for a slow learner like me lol. Thumbs up!
anybody who has a child in school or college please buy them a panel for their backpack, chances are they'll never need it but if they ever do you would never forgive yourself for sending them unprepared.

@@belayasmert9943 In what sense? You think more weight/bulk is worth the .000001% chance someone is using m855a1 instead of regular GTs? I’d rather save 4-10 pounds and thinner plate over that small chance. Why not go with level 5 while we’re at it, Xsapi? 😀 I think 3+ is the best plate overall due to weight + what it covers. My ram 1094 will do the trick for 99.99% of altercations that there is already a .01% chance of happening, and I’m a safety first person, I’m annoyingly safe, but level 4 ain’t it.
@@MobileAura LV III+ steel is hella lot heavier then LV IV ceramics. I'll take a lighter carrier with added protection and its sapi not conjuction with , like steel plates.ESAPI. i have both LVIII+ 10x12 steel. And LV IV ceramics all day long over steel plates
Anytime someone says something about overloading a plate carrier I think of James Yeager. I don’t doubt that he has a use for every single thing on it, and that it’s there for a reason, but holy shit. I can’t imagine carrying all that extra weight.

Great informative video, I feel like the curvature of the plate should be brought up. I’ve seen to many people show up to a class, never having worn plates before, and they show up with a flat or single curve plate and being miserable the whole time because they didn’t even know multi curve plates were a thing.
Mobility can be even more effective than armor for protecting your life. Don't stand there and take multiple hits because you are not mobile enough to get to cover or concealment. But if you are not mobile for other reasons, like myself as an above knee amputee, invest in the heavier protection and look at lower weight options. And pray you never need them.
Confined spaces also tend to leave little manuvering room.
@DNFU I can see where he's coming from though. Most people, if we're being honest with ourselves, are not operating, clearing compounds. So in an environment that we would typically be in, mobility would be a key thing.
Warrior assault systems plate carriers in my opinion are the way to go, and ceramic plates level 4 and higher from shot stop armour

Who fact checked this? The most popular LE soft armor level is IIIA, not II or IIA. The vast majority of patrol LE wear IIIA rating for handguns. SWAT and most entry officers wear hard plates of III or IV rifle rating, not IIIA handgun rating, because they’re more likely to meet rifle caliber threats.
Actually that is wrong most police forces have uses, still use, and will use II or IIA. SWAT also don't use 3a usually so that is correct. They wear level 3-4 depending on the threat level
@@SyphonGaming no, the most common armor worn by patrol officers is IIIA now.

I'm a fan of having body armor, just dropped money on some Hesco 3810,s to change out my steel plates. I may not be the most tactically inclined, but I really don't understand why body armor is being advertised for home defense. Most home invasions are going to take place during the day time unless someone is specifically after you. Unless you have taken a defensive position like locking yourself in a room, you are not going to have the time to put on armor. Even then, if you have kids or something you need to protect, you're going to act offensively by grabbing your gun and getting shit done. Especially if we're talking the bump in the night where you're most likely asleep. It takes time to figure what's going on and make a decision. This takes more time to do when you're awoken from sleep and have to make important and sometimes complex decisions, lol I do that for a living. It just sounds like bad tactics and a false sense of security to me. This is also under normal circumstances and excluding RWOL/Boogaloo.
like the second amendment, body armor was never originally about home defense. but it does make a decent excuse to keep it around.
@Jacob Dawson Again, only practical if you're taking a defensive position. Most of the time someone is going to spend in their home, when you're not sleeping, is somewhere else in the house but the bed room. You very likely not going to fight your way back to a plate carrier. Fight should be over by then. Not to mention that plate carrier is going to be much harder to put on when you have a massive adrenaline dump and someone actively fighting you. Not to mention that you have to get to it. This is why it's best to keep a gun on you or within close vicinity of you.
Currently saving up for those 4800's, really gonna be worth it

@@BigDaddyUnlimited would it be help full if i bought the spalding protection
@@BigDaddyUnlimited and i am on quite the budget but dont wanna cheap out but cannot afford polyethalene
Why do I need it? Cause I can!!
If you're considering body armor, some things are assumed. You are convinced that you may one day have to fight for your life or those you love. Do your homework, and don't let price be the biggest consideration, the most expensive isn't necessarily the best, but don't cheat on quality. Lives depend on it. I believe that rifle level protection is minimal, I can't assume that my adversary will never have a rifle.
As Bill says, don't overload your carrier. Train with it. You will find that what you thought works in fact doesn't. You're going to make some changes, and you will buy some things that eventually get set aside. That's why we have yard sales. The time to start is now.

I had a set of Cati as my first set. They're heavy, I never needed them to stop a bullet so can't speak to that, but they work in tests, and steel theoretically could spall more than ceramic.
