Started with Walker muffs and they broke. My friend had walker - same model "Walker 360" and his broke. After several attempts to get a response from Walker - crickets. Not happy to spend $75 and through them away. So I replaced the muffs with the Peltor 500 muffs and what an upgrade that turned out to be. Way better db reduction and they are built much better than the Walker 360 design and the Peltor 500 has Bluetooth. The current Walker design is different and mimics the Peltor wire loop from the head band down to the muffs. So I know that Peltor is more money and worth every bit of it. $75 for the old Walker 360s and around $110 for the Peltor 500 model.

I bought the same helmet in fde a couple months ago when I saw the price. My peltor adapters are tight af on the rails but the front mount is slightly off center. I ended up using an old pair of walker razors for now. I was kinda hoping you'd be testing that nij rating when I saw the title. I never expect to be in a situation where I'll need it but it'd be nice to know.

@@snoykster2216 Do you have anything to back this claim up? Looking similar doesn't mean they are the same. I've checked they're website and they don't mention where it's manufactured. Which can raise a red flag. It says designed in Denmark and made out Ballistic Twaron aramid from Teijin in the Netherlands. At the bottom of the helmet product pages it says *"Manufactured in Twaron Aramid from Teijin."* I don't know if it's saying it's made in that material or it's made at Teijin in the Netherlands.
Here's a little bit more info I read:
*"This bulletproof helmet is made of a ballistic Aramid, Twaron from Teijin, one of the leading Dutch manufacturers of bulletproof aramids.
      "*
Could be made about anywhere though. They have facilities all over the world and quite possible they just make the aramid and someone else makes the helmet.
*"Protection Group Danmark is a Danish owned company headquartered in Randers, Denmark. Since 2013 we have developed and designed bulletproof and stab proof vests, ballistic helmets and hard armor plates."*

I also got the 3M Peltor 6S tactical and swapped out the band with the clips to attach to the helmet. I know exactly what you mean about the gaps. Still seems to be pretty solid though. I am going to be running nods and the helmet will be used primarily for home defense in a SHTF situation.
