I learned to shoot pistols with big dots (Thanks James Yeager) almost 10 years ago. I keep a pistol with traditional sights just to stay in practice with them. I might give these a try.
I recently got their DXT2 sights on my first Glock, just to try something different, and they're awesome! Super quick to pick up. It's much easier to line up two dots, than three in the dark.
I have the ram sights on my g43x. I prefer a 3 dot set up, but I will say that unless it's dark, the rear dots are very minimal. The front night sight is larger and brighter so you can't get confused. Those minimalist are the exact same as ram sights without rear vials. I'm really happy with the sights and only con is they are blued.. they rust up fast if you don't wipe with oil every couple days.
🤔 Don’t hate the U-Notch. But... I do think it gets funky when you have a front tritium only- but the rear notch is not illuminated at all. 🤨 My supposition would be that it’s really meant for “lower light” and not dark, wherein it’s made easier to pick up being illuminated. Because when it’s actually *dark,* it can be challenging to know if the front dot is level with the rear. I have to “dip it down,” then make a front “sunrise” level up into the notch. 🤷🏽♂️ But that is an extra step in the emergency sequence... and so why would you want that? Doesn’t seem necessary. Now... this opens up that can of worms, “dafuq ya shooting in the dark for... get a light.” And is the target even visible if only the tritium is, and so should you shoot anyway, and so forth. But we all (should) know there are a shit ton of inconvenient variables that pop into the uncool universe of sudden defensive gun encounters. Hence “night sights” in the first place. So I am saying: If we are gonna go through the trouble of illuminating the front site with tritium... then you probably don’t want to stop there, as you probably want an illuminated rear for level reference also. 🤔 Come to think... I feel like my unfortunate personal experiences also suggest this is worth doing (e.g., late at night, small daily CCW kit with no nifty weapons light...). However, from this I reckon that it’s possible... that at the likely distances involved, it’s not a severe issue. But, placement is all... and round we go. 🤷🏽♂️
I miss the tactical videos like slicing the pie with grady powell should bring it back !! Maybe do more features with him? Or someone with a Similar background

“It’s a little wider than what I’m used to” and well we have all been there at one time or another.
lol... are you sure it’s in... ya, think so... isn’t it

James has a medical problem he, my not be here much longer. Pray for him!
@@glock23fan50 James Yeager was an awesome guy. I wish I could have met him.
Minimalistic is the way I've always run (black rear sight and what ever front sight over the years...) and this set seems worth looking into. Thanks!

Why do you dislike U notch? I've found it works well with a wml when it washes out the light from the tritium
Yeah I hate the xs big dot sights outside of 10 yards I couldn't hit crap with them but I might have to check these out!!!
You Probably have to learn how to shoot.
Do the rear sights hang over the back of the slide on the MOS Glocks, since the dovetail has been moved back?
I like the rear plain as well. My old P89 is standard front dot, rear blacked out the dots and slightly widened the notch
The rearward cant may make it more likely to snag on clothing during draw.
I like U notch sites, but my favorite are actually the bar-dot sights on polymer Kahrs
Lollipops... can’t beat them.
Great video! Do they offer these sights for 1911s?
Great video.
wondering what slide is on top of the gun or what coating?

I would just call those regular sights
Do you have a store or XS discount codes?
😅

What slide is that ? I'm really like it
Not entirely sure but it looks like a swenson from midwayusa
Thank you
This guy really say why would you put a red dot on your pistol, and what’s wrong with the U notch?
I think* that they are making sights for CZ's polymer line. Look just like what's on my P10s..... and your brother's arms are as big as my legs...lol
I just sharpie out the rear on my glocks .

Nice glock what glock 👍
U.S.A!!!
Must be nice to shoot a glock and not get major slide bite...the backstrap system is unnecessary, just put a damn beavertail on the gun.
You know the new ones have backstraps with beaver tails right?
@@EvanDickersonM81 no they actually don't. The gen 5 has the same backstrap system as the gen 4.
i've been shooting glocks for 20 years and never had that problem...maybe u need to learn how to properly hold one
Meh, just get a dot.
Just a copy of the ameriglo sights ive had for years.... Boring
