Hi @JuniorJr_23 Had a look for you today. I think that to remove that heat shield you're going to have to undo the exhaust clamp further down and that'll allow you to take off the loop of pipe that runs below the seat. It'll also give you access to the two screws that hold the plastic cladding and the heat shield together. Bit tight for space otherwise.
Not really @TheMills567 You could probably get away with using some shorter bolts and knock up some spacers if you've the right tools. Just keeps everything aligned and the exhaust heat shield where Ducati wanted it.
This is where I bought them: vulturbike.com/en/2702-italian-tricolor-flag-stickers-for-ducati-streetfighter-v2-fins.html Other companies offer them too. Search 'Italian flag domed aero stickers Ducati Streetfighter V2'
@@donniejean If I remember correctly the strap was over the heat shield and the hooks at either end went through the heel guards. Only needed a couple of mm. You could even wrap it through the lower spokes of the wheel. It'll give when the suspension compresses though. Remember to protect the paintwork with some cloths.
Well unfortunately I think I’m gonna have to loosen the pipe. The black plastic shield just won’t budge down far enough :-( the dealer was supposed to have done this for me and didn’t. Now I see why. I’ve spent 3 days already and no luck :-(
Lincolnshire parts too👍 Generally they have the bike in stock and check each add on, so you can be confident in them, I wonder if they’ll take your design improvement on board. Great example of patience, wish I had some. It’ll make it easier to put them back on if you have to give me a lift back to Liverpool 😂 Bike looks like it is doing 100mph even on the stands 👍👍💨
Good quality parts. I was properly scratching my head for a bit there. Was fine after the second coffee kicked in. You might find being perched on the back of the Streetfighter a little too intimate, so I reckon that the pegs are now off for good 😉
It's the optional one one that came with the sports accessory package. There's a previous video of the options I went for in the Streetfighter V2 playlist.
First motorbike video this year? What do you do all day? 😉😂 Yeah, it's a long winter while you wait for spring. Especially when you've a cracking bike taunting you from the garage. Thanks for making my vid your first. Appreciate it 👍🏻
What an absolutely amazing video!!!!! Well done. SO SO helpful and comprehensively well made
Thank you @SprocketSquare I'm glad that you enjoyed it. And thanks for the positive feedback. Really appreciate that 😊
Great video mate and nice looking bike, need to find a buddy or a ratchet strap as it makes it look sooo much better!
Or a buddy with a ratchet strap 😉
Great video man, where did you get those tire stickers from?
Thanks Goldenshark. There's a link in the description for this video: ruclips.net/user/shortsFUr9HkZ6jZI?feature=share
Good company to deal with.
Very nice. Did you see if the exhaust heat shield can be removed by just those 4 bolts?

Thanks for this! Question: is that EvoTech plate even necessary?

Think i said it before but.... what a beauty!
I think you have Paul. Thanks 😂

OMG thank you!!!! I’m doing this to my 2023 Panigale v2 and every video I watched made it look so simple! They must have changed it in 2023???
Glad to have helped Donnie. You're not going mad 😉😂👍🏻
Actually I am now! Still can’t get it! Where did you ratchet around to pull it down that far? It’s killing me!

Okay thank you! I’ll give it another try!

1st thing I did to mine and no pillion seat tail piece
Did you fit the same brand of pillion peg deletes Brad?

What bar end mirrors are they?✌🏽
High there @twowheelin7361 You'll find all of the info here and in the description: ruclips.net/video/9Q82KQ8qahI/видео.html
IF you’re happy with the results then it was worth the hassle.
For around 20 minutes there, it didn't seem like it was going to be worth the bother. Thankfully it turned out okay in the end 😉
My first motorbike video of the year. My streetfighter has been under wraps for two months. Looking forward to getting out on it again.
