@@SimRacingLife Just a thought but what do I know DUH :-) I've watched literally 100's if not 1000's of ets2 and ats videos and have never come across your channel. Probably the "Racing" in your title threw me off. You deserve more exposure and subs with the quirky (that's a good thing it makes you stand out I think) and the clear quality of your work. Did you ever consider another sister channel focusing on ETS2 and ATS? One last question would there be a way or is there an addon in a similar style to the GPS you added to the tablet to have a radio skin for say, an old mobile that could be utilized for radio channels. That would look well, i think...... Anyhow thanks again.
@@silverpuma7386 At the moment its not something i have time for as i have a full time job that takes around 60 hours per week, plus i have a band who will be releasing material later this year so I've got many hours in the studio, so for now it's kind of got to stay on one channel. However if the channel really took off and it was viable to quit my job then oh yes i do believe i would consider it, in the meantime I'm happy just doing my thing and helping other where i can with all the various Racing/Driving Simulators. Thank you though for the very kind and inspirational words and thoughts, that really does mean a lot. (",) I've been looking for something similar with the radio but alas i've not seen or heard of anything like that. the moment i do though you can rest assure i'll be doing a video on it.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not 100% sure as I've never tried it but in theory as long as both your pc and whatever device you are viewing it on are tied to the same network then it should be ok.

Unfortunately the route advisor does not work as SCS development team need to allow it to be transmitted with the rest of the telemetry data. Until such times we only have what is available. Our hopes is that one day they will.
Brand new to ATS; bear with me...lol. OK, you mention putting this on another screen. When I load up ATS it is on my main monitor and the mouse will not move off that screen to either of my other two screens. I saw full screen in options and checked/unchecked with no apparent differences. So; if you put this on another screen; you relegated to using key presses to activate functions? I'm going the iPad route but was curious...makes it a pain to start and stop display recorder since mouse won't move. THANKS! Dave
Great video new to pc done your triple screen edit so looks great now , done this but problem I’m getting is the speedo’s all work but the route advisor download isn’t showing when choosing the dashboard?
The game at present does not support GPS routes, only GPS position on the map. If you can't see the Map dashboard it's likely you've somehow installed it incorrectly. my advice would be to start again.

Did anyone figure out how to activate the turn by turn navigation? for now the map with GPS location are basically useless so i use this method to display my dashboard on my ipad below the screen which is nice but i would like to use this to display my GPS turn by turn too
Unfortunately SCS doesn't transmit the telemetry data needed for the route planner. So at this time we can only have working maps. Anyhow i'm glad you found this video helpful. (",)
Sorry for the late reply, unfortunately until SCS transmits the GPS path with the rest of the telemetry data we are without it, until then its just a working map with your GPS position.
Both the PC and device you are using must be connected to the same network. I have my PC hard wired via an ethernet cable but use wifi to connect the other devices i use such as phone or tablets. hope that help (",)
I know this video is a couple years old now... I downloaded the Mobile Route Advisor and it works, but the map will not update . It only populates roads for Calif., AZ, NM, OR, and NV. Is there another patch ? I can't figure this one out...
I'll be honest, my pad died about a year ago so I've not used the app in a while. I'll try and install it on my phone this weekend and see what can be done, if anything. I'll get back to you.

@@joekinabru4156 You've possibly not installed the skin correctly. Maybe have a look at the directory structure as all files need to be in the one folder etc. if its in another sub folder then that may cause an issue. glad your enjoying the other skins though, so yeah happy days.

Its not working.. Help me..I do not know why it does not work, I did everything as I should, but when I want to click on a link that is HTML5 app URL so it does not work and when I manually write it in Google so it does not go ..
@@michal.3265 You can't type it into Google as that won't work, but typing into your browsers address bar should do it. Sounds like a firewall problem though so check your antivirus software as you may need to allow it access. yeah sorry don't use anything like anydesk.
Hi, I installed ETS2 1st like in the video and when I try and install ATS it goes right to the Telemetry server running window and I can't install on ATS now. Bummer as I play / stream ATS Way more than ETS2. Any Thoughts?
Ik I’m a little late but when I try to see the map it’s just stuck and “Loading map, please wait” what do I do? Do I keep on waiting for is there a fix for it?
Third party maps are not really supported, pro mods has not been updated in quite some time, it mentions map support on the skins website. All vanilla DLC maps should be ok though, unless they conflict with the pro mods add-on.
I need help I do just as the video states but for some reason when I load up ets on the phone it displays: “connecting to server” and I don’t know why I need help pls
I have a problem. With the telemetry I see that ATS is running. When I start ets I see that too. But the difference is that with ets I can look at the map on my mobile phone and computer but not with ats. What could be the reason for this? I've already deleted everything and reinstalled it, but it doesn't work

Ok so theres a couple of possibilities, 1 is you have a firewall active on your PC or phone, if this is the case then you need to make the server app an exception. 2, you've miss typed the address the server app gave you. in the address bar of your phones browser try either the full address ie (your numbers) or try omitting the prefix. Another common one i see people missing is the correct usage of comers, full stops and colons that are in the address given. Hope you get it sorted. Hello tks so much for the vídeo ❤️. I have one problem tho.. Everything seems to work fine except the blue arrow on the gps. The blue arrow appear on the side instead of appearing centered With the road. Any Tips to solve this? I have ets2 on steam no dlcs yet and some steam workshop mods(only comestic no maps mods) . It's all working except it still says "waiting for the drive" Simulator is running in green. Not sure what to do I've tried Chrome on samsung phone and tablet. Even on Windows it doesn't work. It connects of course but says waiting for drive
Thats correct, if you read the page you downloaded it from it states that SCS Software do not transmit that telemetry data, so as soon as the developers allow this in game, we too will have a fully working GPS, for now its just Map, Job, Truck info etc.
if you are asking is the route visible, then at this time it's not. We are all waiting for SCS to allow that data to be transmitted along with the rest of the telemetry data. As soon as they allow it the route will also display. until then it is what it is.
I run a side monitor that I want to run this app on, but when it shows up, it is on job screen, and I cannot figure out how to change it to the nav screen. My monitor is not a touch screen.
You would have to use your mouse and click the 4 different tabs at the bottom of the screen once you have run the game and clicked Drive in game. That will then let it have all the info. And then you can manually click which tab you want to be on since you aren't using something with a touch screen
Are you talking about your GPS route ? if so unfortunately SCS software don't transmit that telemetry data at present within the 2 games. However the moment they do this software should display it like it does everything else. so we have to wait for that day and we are at the mercy of SCS software. I doubt its high on their list though as its a third party app.

So,w hat if I only have ATS and not ETS? When I go through the server install it asks for ETS first - when I hit "OK" it wants a path to ETS - when I hit "Cancel" it runs and says it's done. but...I never put in the path to ATS?

Start the game, it will say that until you are actually in the truck cabin. Because it's waiting for you to drive.

Yes it's fine. This isn't really a mod par say, as its hard built within the software. So therefore it'll work with any mod.

I use windows, I have Avast antivirus .. I did everything right, I don't know why it doesn't work for me

If you have the time and the program anydesk I'd send you a number and try it, maybe I'm just incapable
@@michal.3265 You can't type it into Google as that won't work, but typing into your browsers address bar should do it. Sounds like a firewall problem though so check your antivirus software as you may need to allow it access. yeah sorry don't use anything like anydesk.

Hi, I installed ETS2 1st like in the video and when I try and install ATS it goes right to the Telemetry server running window and I can't install on ATS now. Bummer as I play / stream ATS Way more than ETS2. Any Thoughts?
Ik I’m a little late but when I try to see the map it’s just stuck and “Loading map, please wait” what do I do? Do I keep on waiting for is there a fix for it?

Great job with the eplanationof this. Only Thing is that the maps are not up to date with the current dlc’s, specialy promods.
Third party maps are not really supported, pro mods has not been updated in quite some time, it mentions map support on the skins website.
All vanilla DLC maps should be ok though, unless they conflict with the pro mods add-on.

You can already use the map, but it only gives GPS position, not the route. plus it has the other function screens such as call for help etc.

I have a problem. With the telemetry I see that ATS is running. When I start ets I see that too. But the difference is that with ets I can look at the map on my mobile phone and computer but not with ats. What could be the reason for this? I've already deleted everything and reinstalled it, but it doesn't work

Ok so theres a couple of possibilities, 1 is you have a firewall active on your PC or phone, if this is the case then you need to make the server app an exception. 2, you've miss typed the address the server app gave you. in the address bar of your phones browser try either the full address ie (your numbers) or try omitting the prefix. Another common one i see people missing is the correct usage of comers, full stops and colons that are in the address given.

Hello tks so much for the vídeo ❤️. I have one problem tho.. Everything seems to work fine except the blue arrow on the gps. The blue arrow appear on the side instead of appearing centered With the road. Any Tips to solve this? I have ets2 on steam no dlcs yet and some steam workshop mods(only comestic no maps mods) . Could the mods be doing this? Thanks in advance for the help.
Direction route and speed limit is not active on my second screen. Any idea why?

Thats correct, if you read the page you downloaded it from it states that SCS Software do not transmit that telemetry data, so as soon as the developers allow this in game, we too will have a fully working GPS, for now its just Map, Job, Truck info etc.

if you are asking is the route visible, then at this time it's not. We are all waiting for SCS to allow that data to be transmitted along with the rest of the telemetry data. As soon as they allow it the route will also display. until then it is what it is.
I run a side monitor that I want to run this app on, but when it shows up, it is on job screen, and I cannot figure out how to change it to the nav screen. My monitor is not a touch screen.
You would have to use your mouse and click the 4 different tabs at the bottom of the screen once you have run the game and clicked Drive in game. That will then let it have all the info. And then you can manually click which tab you want to be on since you aren't using something with a touch screen

Are you talking about your GPS route ? if so unfortunately SCS software don't transmit that telemetry data at present within the 2 games. However the moment they do this software should display it like it does everything else. so we have to wait for that day and we are at the mercy of SCS software. I doubt its high on their list though as its a third party app.
@@SimRacingLife Absolutely. Ive reloaded it multiple times and everything else is there but the nav (GPS) skin which is huge bummer. Thats the only one i needed. Is there another mod for Navigation?
@@CERBERUS610 No this is the only one available at present, but even if there was another app it still wouldn't show a GPS route as the main games don't transmit that data with the rest, like map position and speed etc. the day SCS software allows this to be transmitted will be a happy day for us all (",)

Sorry for the late reply. If you run the install server program again and select the correct path it should work fine.
I just followed the steps and I dont have the route advisor just the generic skins
So,w hat if I only have ATS and not ETS? When I go through the server install it asks for ETS first - when I hit "OK" it wants a path to ETS - when I hit "Cancel" it runs and says it's done. but...I never put in the path to ATS?
so, it IS working - BUT - the map doesn't show the GPS route. Wondering if that's due to the update that just happened yesterday?
