Don't care much about the housing customization for these old ipods but do you know anything about the iFlash SDHC adapter compatibility (I have noticed that the motherboard does not always support all the slots in the adapter, so you get less storage for what you put in) with the motherboard and the battery size to fit into case, I'm planning to upgrade my 6th gen classic...

ahhh i got my pink ipod nano (4th gen) a while ago and i adore it. its not modded but the battery was switched out as the nanos batteries is especially susceptible to swelling. in lovee with them.
i tried to find a mp3 player thats currently manufactured online but buying used ones that r actually well made is just a better investment.

I love that we're bring iPods back!! I order an iPod classic 6 from the same website and I love it originally had the iPod nano 3rd gen but couldn't fine it. You have to be patient tho it took a whole week and 5 days to get to me.
Yess!! I had to contact them 5 days in because they let usps know to look out for my package, but nothing was moving. It might take longer now after I posted my video because I get a lot of comments telling me they placed an order from them!
The 5th generation iPod classic is the best reason is cause audiophiles like me know and love the DAC it has for true hi res music .
Another great and easy to mod iPod that doesn’t get enough praise (and is also very cheap second hand) is the iPod Mini 2. It also has the high quality Wolfson DAC like the 5.5 Classic does, and it’s literally like an iPod classic 4th gen shrinked down. You can get them for really cheap since everyone usually overlooks them, got mine for 25 dollars, got a cheap Digigear CF to SD adapter and modded it! Now it has 64GB of storage (a much needed upgrade from the 4GB it had prior) and I opted not to replace the battery because somehow the 19 year old battery runs perfectly fine after all these years, and it hasn’t swollen or anything.

@KarolineTheArtist paired with the iPod, it doesn't really have that feature. I've used it several times while vacuuming, I can still hear it, but it's not SUPER audible. I have headphones that I accidentally turn of NC from time to time, but it still doesn't sound like that if I'm making any sense😭😭

It is worth noting that while you don't have the fancy UI, your ipod can shuffle more tracks than a 6th gen and has a better DAC :)

hey, i can't tell in the vid if the case covers it or if you've figured it out yourself - but that "hold" button near the headphone jack will lock your wheel and prevent it from moving around [changing volume/tracks accidentally]! makes it easier to toss it into a bag or something. c:

did u get the brand new one? im ordering the black with red wheel black back plate u2 edit 5.5 gen 128 upgraded battery in few days plus clear case and earbuds from the same place u got urs . glad i found ur video . i almost got one from ebay and i was hesitant spending alot of money on severly used . . how has urs held up since u posted this video? hows the battery life and screen doing after 9 months ? im excited to get one brand new let alone i love the u2 band. when i was about 16 years old but it was bought used for me from ebay and it was in severly bad condition , lasted till i was about 19 years old. not long at all. it was cracked and scratched when bought. my adopted dad did it like on purpose because it was only 50 bucks and stuff. so im happy to finnaly get one i can pick myself and wont be all messed up . cant wait. 😊

I bid on two different 5th gen iPod Classics and won BOTH! The white one was modded with 128GB, 2000mah battery with 6,000+ songs on it, and the black one has its original hard drive and has rockbox on it. I’m going to replace the frontplate on the back one since it’s the most scratched up. I’ll replace the frontplate of the white one at a later date.

Have you noticed any problem with adding music?
I tried going through music but it wouldn’t show up on the actual iPod. I noticed in Finder it shows two “iPod” one with iPod icon and one with hard drive icon. I had to add music through Finder, and add it to both “iPod”s. I spent HOURS figuring that out I had no clue what was going on and still don’t.

Ah yay! Oh really?!! That's weird. Did you check to see if anyone has mentioned that same problem on yt? Make sure the cable actually chargers and eject and connect again a few times cause that happened to me ONE time super randomly, but that hasn't happened anymore.

how are the earbuds sound quality? theyre so cute
The sound quality is pretty good. It sounds better paired with my ipod than my phone because it doesn't have noise canceling. Tried it while vacuuming with my phone, but I'll just stick to my actual noise canceling headphones & earbuds🩵
hey i have never used an ipod before and do not know how it works but i want to buy it lol watching your video, can you tell me do we have to purchase any songs in this ipod or do just come built in and does this need wifi to work what if we are outside without our phone and want o listen to music but there is no wifi or data around us, and one last question to airpods connect with them.
