Thank you 🙏🏽 Chris, centro is definitely the spot to start which is why we started there for this video. Where should we go next? We’re thinking Coyoacan or Chapultepec
@@EatBailaTravel good question. I would lean towards Chapultepec next because it such an amazing place to me especially paired with a visit to Condesa and Roma Norte. Coyoacan to me is a chance to show more of the neighborhoods and their richness. I know you will do a great job with both.
I love your videos! Your explanations are exceptional. I fell in love with Mexico City when I went to study at Universidad Iberoamericana in 1979! I am looking forward to visiting CDMX this year. The US press often talks about the water shortage and drought conditions there and I wonder how severe it actually is? Please do make a video on this subject.
Love Mexico City. I have been going there regularly and was just there last week :) The ease of getting around with the metro, the green spaces in the middle of the city, good food and nice climate. I would get my taco from por siempre vegana or churro and coffee, and walk over to parque mexico to have my picnic :). I'm not a fan of party boat but was going to go kayaking instead, in Xochimilco but wasn't able to get there this time. Hopefully I can get a temazcal in the next time I go there (not the tourist temazcal). I caught a cold and decided to go to the doctor while it's more affordable than US. Very impressed with the doctor, a person who cares about the health of an individual rather than the $$$ coming into their pocket. My doctor's visit and medications came up to a total of US$25. I did have a few bad experiences, my glasses went missing after my massage. I'm glad they found it, don't know how my glasses was able to open the door and go down the stairs to where they found it. This would not deter me from going back to Mexico City. There are good and bad in all countries. Hope to see you guys next time I'm there :) Cuidate.
The two cities I love most and where I would love to end up living some day are Paris and Mexico City. I have been there numerous times, so watching your video makes me somewhat homesick. La Casa De Toño is pretty good. The Zona Rosa location is a bit off. They aren't friendly to gringos. But the one you guys went to are really nice and so is the one in the San Rafael neighborhood. Heading down for a month in April, Zacatecas, Querétaro and San Cristobal in Chiapas. All places I've never been. Looking forward to the nature and exploring! And of course a few days in Cdmx to see friends.
Yes, absolutely! It’s never been an issue for tourists and visitors, so I don’t think you need to worry. It’s more a concern for people who live here and need to be cautious with water usage. I imagine similar to places like California.
as a native of the City I can tell you oh yeah, all of that is true, the scammers, robbers, danger, etc but the City gives you so much more than it takes.
Great video. How about a video for each of the historic buildings in the zocalo, museums, etc. Anyway, it's just a suggestion since I think you can do a great job of it and it gives you a chance to create more videos. Saludos.
It was the same in Spain, the Catholic Church basically remodeled the Morrish temples, they didn't tear them down like in Mexico but they built around the temples, turning them into Catholic Churches. Great video, we wrote down the places in your other video about Queratero.

Hello Jenny and Kevin. Thank you for all your videos. We are planning a trip to Mexico City in July and would like to know where to stay? Can you help us out?
Guys.....All I can say is: "QUÉ BONITO VIDEO!" My beautiful Ciudad de México.......Thanks for sharing.... BTW...People don't forget to like this video!
As a tourist, you’ll likely be asked to be careful with your water usage at your accommodation but aside from that you shouldn’t be affected much. The city still waters its parks and as long as people continue to be cautious with water usage the city will be okay 👍🏽
It’s been an ongoing issue for years, it’s a combination of a lot of things such as massive residential buildings, too many people, outside corporations like Coca Cola own water resources in Mexico, lack of rain, cutting down trees, etc. It affects tourists in the sense that people tend to get sick more often due to the lack of water. Or if you stay in certain areas you can only shower certain days, etc
Great videos! Im Mexican, I was burn there but I came here at 13,, Now Im 30 but I do want to go back with my family.. hope one day not sure of the city or queretaro
@@EatBailaTravel Im from the City as well but its like like 20 years so I truly dont even know my city anymore, Im a photographer and I do really good here but the life style is is not it anymore.. but moving there could be a lil scary to start again with a family and restart again with my business.
Just got back form being there a 7nights and 8 days, it was beautiful and nothing like what you see on the news, just be vigilant and aware of your surroundings
Walk into any makeup store (not the American brand ones like MAC, Sephora, etc) and they should have it! 😊 but the one I walked in to in this video was on Paseo Madero
Found it on P. Madero. Also went to Finca Don Porfirio, Palacio de Bellas Artes (though only the lobby -as it was closed). Great recommendations... Thank you🌻

And of course a few days in Cdmx to see friends.
Thanks!
Thank you so much. Your kindness means the world to us. Blessings ✨
Amazing video 👏
Thank you for commenting and watching! Saludos
What music you have in background at the start of the video? I don't understand spanish but love the music.
Mexican cumbia 🙂🎶🇲🇽
Great video! Can you talk about the water shortage? I am planning a trip later this year and want to know if this is a serious concern. Thank you!
Yes, absolutely! It’s never been an issue for tourists and visitors, so I don’t think you need to worry. It’s more a concern for people who live here and need to be cautious with water usage. I imagine similar to places like California.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Enjoyed, love hidden gems Mexicano
Gracias! Saludos!
as a native of the City I can tell you oh yeah, all of that is true, the scammers, robbers, danger, etc but the City gives you so much more than it takes.
It certainly does! 🇲🇽🫶🏽
It's a very good video with great content :-) keep up the good work. Regards Joseph
Thank you, Joseph! 🫶🏻 take care
Mexico city is amazing. -Marc
It really is! Saludos Marc
Great video. How about a video for each of the historic buildings in the zocalo, museums, etc. Anyway, it's just a suggestion since I think you can do a great job of it and it gives you a chance to create more videos. Saludos.
Love the idea, thank you so much for the suggestion we will write it down.
Loved the video! saludos from California
Muchas gracias! Saludos 🤗
It was the same in Spain, the Catholic Church basically remodeled the Morrish temples, they didn't tear them down like in Mexico but they built around the temples, turning them into Catholic Churches.
Great video, we wrote down the places in your other video about Queratero.
Ah yes that’s right! We got to visit a few in southern Spain years ago. Beautiful and storied places.

Hello Jenny and Kevin. Thank you for all your videos. We are planning a trip to Mexico City in July and would like to know where to stay? Can you help us out?
Hi there, for tourists, the best neighborhoods to stay in are Roma Norte, Roma Sur, Polanco, y Condesa
Great video, guys....!
Thank you so much glad you enjoyed!
Felicidades amigos!
Yes! That video is coming soon that’s where we live, Frida is our neighbor 🤣 saludos
I'm surprise you guys did not eat at the Blue tile house.
The Sanborns? Nehh
But Sanborns is iconic!
The food is average at best, but breakfast in that room is worth it once.
Excellent job ...❤
Gracias!
Guys.....All I can say is: "QUÉ BONITO VIDEO!" My beautiful Ciudad de México.......Thanks for sharing....
BTW...People don't forget to like this video!
Muchas gracias, Karen! 🙏🏽🫶🏻🥰
Gracias CHAVOS I'm glad there are RUclipsrs that study about Mexico City saludos de de Dallas Texas🎉🎉😂😊
😁🙏🏽
whats the water situation like now, if going in maybe 4 weeks time?
As a tourist, you’ll likely be asked to be careful with your water usage at your accommodation but aside from that you shouldn’t be affected much. The city still waters its parks and as long as people continue to be cautious with water usage the city will be okay 👍🏽
You're back i guess you're not going back to Chicago after all, good! Cause you owe us a Chile and Argentina excursion 😊.
We are finishing out our lease in CDMX and after that, Chile and Argentina sounds like a great idea! 🤩
I live in Mexico City thanks to your videos, I got my Mexican citizenship through watching your guys videos :D
What is going on with the water supply in Mexico City? I keep reading about a water shortage. Do tourists need to worry?
It’s been an ongoing issue for years, it’s a combination of a lot of things such as massive residential buildings, too many people, outside corporations like Coca Cola own water resources in Mexico, lack of rain, cutting down trees, etc.
It affects tourists in the sense that people tend to get sick more often due to the lack of water. Or if you stay in certain areas you can only shower certain days, etc
Great videos!
Im Mexican, I was burn there but I came here at 13,, Now Im 30 but I do want to go back with my family.. hope one day not sure of the city or queretaro
Where is your family from? CDMX? It’s a city with lots of opportunities 🇲🇽 I hope you can achieve your goal of going back someday
@@EatBailaTravel Im from the City as well but its like like 20 years so I truly dont even know my city anymore, Im a photographer and I do really good here but the life style is is not it anymore.. but moving there could be a lil scary to start again with a family and restart again with my business.
I completely understand. It is scary and especially when you have a family to provide for.
BEAUTIFUL VLOG
Thank you 😊
You guys should do a video about vecindades in mexico city
We will, especially on Xoco
Awesome 😎 video
Thanks, @roywing3287!
Very well done!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Just got back form being there a 7nights and 8 days, it was beautiful and nothing like what you see on the news, just be vigilant and aware of your surroundings
9:16 That's Palacio de Iturbide, once the residence of Emperor Agustín I. It is the only royal palace in North America.
Yup. And with Castillo de Chapultepec, Mexico City also has the only royal castle in all of the Americas.
Great video. Saludos
Thank you for commenting and enjoying our video
Well done EBTs!!!
Thank you! We hope all is well with you Dan!
It's amazing how foreigners have all these fears (their fears) of CDMX. Turns out all the way around.
it's not just foreigners, Mexicans from other parts of Mexico also have fears and misconceptions
You are right👍🏼
Hi were you affected by the water crisis???
Hey Cynthia! Yes but the water crisis affects people differently throughout the city. Our building thankfully not too much.
In Mx City now (exploring). Umm, which store has that mascara?😂
Thank you🌻
Lovely! I hope you had a wonderful time 😊

Yes! You gotta be super cautious with your things especially when it gets super tight in the metro.
Thank you !
