Great job on the build. It looks great, and I'm guessing that Molly got the operation down petty good. I was just wondering if you considered shooting the primer and paint with a fine tip rather than brushing and rolling
Absolutely would have been better, but currently we don't have a great place to do that. We rely on good weather windows and this project did not have a good weather window.
So now that you have done one of these are there aspects that you would leave to do during the installation like that shelf you had to move?
For sure just to avoid things like this happening. If the floor was level, it wouldn’t have been a big deal…but it happens. We have another one scheduled soon that will be on a third story, sooooo taking this in sections for that!
Nice! I try to make all my installs adjustable because this happens all the time with me!
Amusingly enough, I'm in the middle of making one of these myself, for a customer. Never again... :P

Good job, well done. I have a question. The front panel/door is basically double thickness,since doing this as a custom job. Will the hardware handle the additional weight from doubling the thickness?
The hardware is designed to carrying the load of a 3/4” front panel with optional trim. We used 1/2” on the panel and trim to reduce weight. It would be apparent if the gas struts were under powered, but they worked great.
