    This stuff has been off the market for a couple of years now, I bought my last bottle 3 years ago from Amazon UK.

    I remember "Klear", from my stint in the army. I wonder if they still make that stuff!!! It was awesome polish

    does this floor gloss (varnish) dry rigid? if so, is it prone to cracking due to flex?
    i laminate my wings... harder (more fiddlier) to do than painting a 'hardener' on!!!

    • @Caroline_Tyler
      @Caroline_Tyler  7 месяцев назад +3

      It's so thin that I have not seen any indication of it cracking off at all. It's really good at cutting down on general hanger rash, it won't stop dents from harder hits. Plus you end up with nice shiny planes!!!

    It's true that foam breaks down quite quickly. I am using plain ol Elmers Glue mixed with water to make a great coating. Oxidization is the killer. If you can do ANYTHING to keep oxygen off the surface, you are winning!!!!!!

    Please explain someone. How is a thin coat of polish going to protect from knocks and dents? Watered down PVA would be just as effective, as in not.

    • @Caroline_Tyler
      @Caroline_Tyler  5 месяцев назад +1

      It will not stop a dent, but it does strengthen and shine the surface layer. I've also found it reduces catches from fingernails and the like.

    hello there, i have just found your channel, subbed, i am new to rc flying, have had a couple of lessons at my club, do you think the tasman would make a good trainer. thanks

    • @Caroline_Tyler
      @Caroline_Tyler  Месяц назад +1

      Firstly, thank you for your subscription, I hope you find lots to enjoy. The Tasman is an excellent trainer plane, once it's been trimmed for the flaps as it balloons easily. I haven't found any bad habits of the plane.

      @@Caroline_Tyler Many thanks for advice, I was told to set up flaps but not use them until I have a bit of experience behind me. I am down to a choice of 2 planes now the Tasman or Riot, both are large enough for me to see in the air which i need with my eye sight 🤣

    • @Caroline_Tyler
