Given the aircraft looks about 6-8 feet lengthwise, and it was traveling half of it's span every frame, we can probably conclude that it was traveling between 3-4 feet per frame. Assuming the video rendered at 60fps, we would be looking at a plane going roughly 120 to 160 miles an hour.

Amazing similarity between all these crashes. I have studied each crash in detail, and categorised all the different causes of the crash. After much statistical analysis, I deduced the most common cause of crash to be contact with the ground.

It has a wingspan of 1.05 m and a lenght of 90 cm. Now I will try to make it fly again. Does someone know how to calculate which e-motor it needs? (I havent put it on the libra yet)

Seeing this makes me thankful for the fact that all of my flying has been with drones. I started with a losi 10th scale RC car. Electric with nicd batteries.
The moment I saw drones on TV in around 2014, I knew that they were for me. The hobby was just so expensive, but the goggles and transmitter will probably last you. Most of the cost is props, motors, arms, antennas and batteries ect.
The electronic bits add up quick. Planes are cheaper and far less complex. That and the extended flight time are the only advantages in my opinion. Possibly nostalgia as well. I've been flying drones for years and haven't met a soul in my rural county who flies an fpv drone or ever seen an FPV drone fly around with my own eyes... Sad.
I tried flying line of sight in the beginning, but it ended badly.
