Apt-X Low Latency seems to be the best option for gaming. I paired my BTR3K with the BTA30 transmitter utilizing Apt-X LL and have no issue with latency.
I've been using the btr5 for years to game with the built in mic with IEM's plugged in. I have my sound output in windows set through the USB connection, while the input uses the Bluetooth connection for the mic and they work simultaneously (windows 11 but it also worked in win 10 previously)
I own btr5 2021 and pretty sure his mic just sucks. I even tried sending myself audio on telegram with my inline mic, after hearing his test just to be sure and the audio was clear. No idea about the in-built mic, as I never used it.
The whole premise of this video is heavily flawed. Why? Because you can indeed hook up the BTR *wired* to a PC AND use the headphones built-in microphone. You might want to investigate your setup because the issue is not with the BTR. You can absolutely use it as a sound card for a computer.
@@pranavys Well that's not a lot to go on, but Windows 10 has built in drivers for USB Class 2.0 audio devices which is what the BTR5 is. You will also need to USB A to USB C cable. Make sure DAC mode is set on the Fiio App. If you have the Fiio BTR5K (2021) edition, it has the option to be set as a USB Class 1.0 audio device. This will give wider compatibility with more devices. I would try that too.
yap, you are right. the one corner of the glass of my BTR5 broke just when my 2 year old nephew sweeped it off from the table with his hand. Don't care about it though, it's the purpose that matters.
you mean BTR3K? Yes, but you should go to the shop with your headphones/headset/earphones and test by yourself. If you won't be able to tell the difference - you do not need to upgrade (only because of other things, maybe). Do not upgrade blindly)
Good review. Would appreciate your thoughts if it works with ps5. It has the ability to switch between UAC 1 and UAC 2, but I still can't get it to register on the ps5 in wired face mode. I did achieve t hi is with the btrk3, but the output was too low.

What IEM are you using ? Looks like the Moondrop Aria…also what i mic did you use to connect to the FiiO?
Can you review the btr7 in gamers perspective again? Specially when u use it in PC as u use it in actual gaming.
Won't be as good coz aptx adaptive is worse than Aptx LL (latency-wise)

Since it has no aptxLL you should only buy it if you want to game wired only. Soundwise it's actually great
