It does not deplete too fast while not in use, active battery life changes drastically if you use balanced output and high resolution bluetooth algorithms, you can get around 6-8 hours on average, and if you drive the extremes, either very low impedance or very high impedance, expect between 4 and 6 hours

If you can find your headphones sensitivity and impedance, it should give you a rough idea on how much power they need and then compare to the specs of the DAC itself.

Hello, excellent review, I have a question; In terms of sound quality, which would be better between this product and the hiby re3 ii? I am interested in purchasing one of these two. Thanks in advance.
If you had problems with BTR5, then BTR15 will be similar, I would try to look into a better bluetooth source, as those are the receivers and the phone sending the signal typically would be weaker than either
Yes, it generally would have a cleaner sound than the bluetooth receiver from cars, or even if used via the car's AUX input, it should generally have a better sonic quality.
Really great review, thanks. I did enjoy it though I did struggle in parts to understand what you were saying simply because my Australian ear isn't used to your strong French? accent, such as @11:48 - @11:56 My ear heard a series of sounds but failed to identify words. It was quite strange and not something I've experienced before (I am almost entirely deaf in my left ear though my right has very good hearing, it may have played a part). BTW, I tried the subtitles but they had similar difficulty in understanding ie USB DUCK Lmao 😆🤔 I have subscribed anyway as I did enjoy such a thorough review. EDIT repeated listening did improve my compression though possibly due to knowing what words to expect.
@@AudiophileHeaven I wouldn’t worry about it mate. You speak nice and clearly already. I watch on 2x and am also Australian. I understand you just fine
Nah, I was this close to buying it, but the battery life is a dealbreaker for me. Only up to 8 hours? That's way too short, especially since I listen to music on high volume for like 2-3 hours every day. I'd have to charge it every other day, and the 2-hour charging time is just not gonna cut it.
Well, to gie an example, I bought a charger with multiple ports, and I would live BTR15 up to charge together with my phone ever other day. I don't know of any device with a much longer battery life though, so let's hope that with the new Carbon based batteries, this will improve
@@AudiophileHeaven Yeah, even on Qudelix 5K, from what i have read has similar battery life. I hope for the next iteration they would make significant improvements on the battery.
Love from Timisoara :) !
Thank you!!
thx for the review! Fiio BTR13 was released last week, I love to watch your very own take to it! hoping to BTR13 review
Hii, thank you! I will try to cover it but i may skip it for BTR17, since BTR13 is a bit small and performance will be below BTR15
lol, the subtitles @0.49 call this a USB Duck. "this duck is quite simple.."

BTR15 vs Qudelix 5k?
BTR15 has a slihgtly higher quality, altough 5K is still a great option
Mine’s battery is a little on the weak side: 4-5 hours on balanced mode…
That is bad, but good to know! Do you listen loud?

Is it asyncron when watching TV ?
You mean real time playback? Not really, there's around 100ms of delay, 2-3 frames, most people do not notice it, but it can be bothersome for some
@@AudiophileHeaven Thank you.
why did they release this a very similar product to BTR5?

Why they release a new IPhone every year when they are basically the same with minor changes?
Nicely Done.
Can I use an external power bank for power while watching tv in bluetooth mode ?
Thanks
Thank you! Theoretically yes, it should work like this!
I gotta question when I plugged my btr15 on 4.4 mode the volume is not pushing above 60 percent what should i do?

For use in car and having better music quality playing from a mobile phone, is BTR15 better than M11?
M11 would sound better but be larger and less convenient
@@AudiophileHeaven Thanks
I have an ATH- M50XBT2 but lacks power. Will this help to increase volume? Thanks
It should help!

does this work with microphones and in bluetooth?
It has its own microphone which it uses for audio
@@AudiophileHeaven yes, i know it has one, but does it work with microphone input through the audio jack, the btr5 sorta supported that.
@@BamsyTheSergal Nope, BTR15 won't work with mic and in-line control from headphone.

Hiby R3 ii because it has obnboard microsd reader, DAP function, less compromise of the signal
