    3:40 I love the tongue and groove attachment method instead of the drop from top like Ernst. The Ernst will come apart if you ever try to move them and when initially trying to lay out the drawer.

    I love your organizers very simple design and effective and everyone loves magnets, but I work out of a service truck that have a steel body bed but all my drawers, shelf’s, and service body doors are aluminum so magnets aren’t going to help me in my situation, if you had a way to bolt, screw, or pop rivet your organizers down then they would be bad a$$ and help out some field mechanics because we have utilize every square inch of space in our trucks but also keep in mind of the weight of everything in our trucks. You made my day when you were talking about the 2 inch wrench organizers, big wrench needs organization too

      I would really like to make some stuff for service trucks but I don’t really have a grasp into what are common tools and how they best fit. Are there drawers? Shelves? If I had one to study I could potentially design some stuff for service trucks

    I like these, I want to organize my toolbox at home . I am wondering about the open toolbox rachet holder hanging from top cover. Can you make a holder that allows the cover to be closed at the end of the day for those who don't work in their own shop, but rather a dealers shop with others to allow closing and locking the cover

    This is my very 1st time here, and you, sir, are a genius!! I've got to say, I'm so impressed by how innovative and creative your products are!! I love how many colors there are to choose from, and some of these products are the 1st of their kind. Very, very well done bro!! 👏 The astro organizer is pure genius!! The hanging ratchet organizer is great too! I hope you keep griwing your product line and keep coming out with new storage options. Great job man! I'd love to see a launch version of the D1 kickstand with dongle holder because my launch doesn't have a kickstand. I always thought it was stupid that any scan tool didnt have a kickstand or a spot to store the dongle. You should make a dongle holder for every scan tool too. I just used velcro with sticky tape. I also really like the socket organizer because you can make it as long as you want. Also, not sure if you're able to do this, but you should make some dope decals.

    I like the socket rail. What would be cool is to make the post long so they come up to about flush with the socket and have sizes engraved on the end of it so you can quickly see that when you open a drawer. That ratchet hanger is an awesome idea!

    • @Collindraker
      @Collindraker  6 месяцев назад

      It’s a great idea but extremely hard to execute on a small scale by one guy and 2 printers. It’s also hard to print tall skinny objects reliable which would be another problem to overcome

    • @guitarzarfun
      @guitarzarfun 6 месяцев назад

      @@Collindraker Ahh yeah i can see that breaking maybe too. Cool stuff either way! I looked around for thin hex shaped inserts with sizes embossed on them that would fit snug into the socket and just stayed there. That would be slick being able to see the sizes quickly from the top looking into the socket..

  • @KolbaltCowboy
    @KolbaltCowboy 19 дней назад

    Hey Boss,
    Since you want my opinion.. here goes.
    1. The intricate designs will take you more time , cost more .... but
    Take your logo ..put it in hi viz again a good contrast for base color, say black with yellow TC logo...this logo is displayed when tool is NOT in it's slot.
    Your welcome.
    2. Take your best designs of the more intricate designs and make a top end line..
    Costs a little more but gets you the effect of innovation.
    3. Lastly...
    I would recommend a "wedge " ..or keystone shape to interlock and make them tighter at the joints.. or run a pin to connect.
    Sincerely Kolbalt Cowboy.

    I love all the color options! For your socket rails, could you make an option with long pegs so you can store the sockets with the open end down? I'm running into a problem with my big sockets, they don't make normal socket trays big enough and I don't want half of my sockets to be open side down and the other half open side up. Also is there any way you could find a combat green color? Thanks!

    Questions/suggestions
    Do the low profile ratchet holders have magnets in them? Does the anvil touch the bottom of the drawer?
    The reason I ask is that I currently store my ratchets in a low profile drawer, but anvil up, and my larger 1/2" ones barely clear when opening and closing the drawer.
    Do you have, or will you have, any of the modular wrench holders that are xxl so they can hold the thick wrenches from Wright that are over 1-1/4"/32mm? Their beams start at 1"wide and 3/4" thick, and get wider and thicker as the wrench gets bigger, up to 1-3/8" wide by 1-1/8" thick on the 2-3/4" wrench.
    See this page for reference looking at columns F and G. They only have numbers once the size exceeds 1-1/4 and 32mm as all of them through that size have normal style beams.
    Are the magnets strong enough that they hold the tools in the holders, somewhat? Especially on the socket holders?
    Planning on making any wrench holders with a slope for S wrenches?

    Fwiw, as someone who also has a 3d printer, i'd probably be down to buy some of the models (for personal use, if available that way). Just wouldnt be able to justify buying a 3d printed part when I could be printing it myself.

    Are the magnets in the base of the socket organizers strong enough to hold everything in place through a drawer liner? In your video I see you have it on top of a drawer liner but that's on top of your cart. Would like to know if they hold strong with a drawer opening/closing.

    I always have a difficult time organizing my extensions so I love that design. All of your wrench organizers are too thick and too big. The wrench organizers take too much space, I have about 300 hundred differnt wrenches so most mechanics nee will sacrifice organization for space.I think the colors you chose for you organizers are the best though.(the black wrench organizers are the best) Your plier organizers that are modular are great! Ratchet organizers are spot on, love the variety and colors! You sold me on the tool cart ratchet organizers!I am also sold on you socket organizers because you can stack them. I loved this video!

    • @Collindraker
      @Collindraker  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for the input! What exactly would you need to get your wrenches organized? My vertical ones are pretty damn compact. I think I may make a video on all the styles and the amount of space they take up for reference for techs who are thinking about getting some. I’d love other professionals opinions though. I have probably made over 10 variations of these wrench organizers and I’ll make more if I have too.

    • @mlara98796
      @mlara98796 6 месяцев назад

      @@Collindraker to get my wrenches organized, I personally need something close to the thickness of paper but will still keep the wrenches organized. The vertical modular ones are the best but they still take up to much room. I got over 300 different wrenches and one wrench drawer. Some tool boxes are extremely expensive so we can’t waste space. I want to send a picture of my wrench drawer to show you so you can see. I’m sold on everything else! This a great idea and I hope everything goes well!
