Bang for your buck. They make it sound like a budget car.
Ya Poor people cannot understand that name a car under 70 lakh with 0-100 in 4.4 seconds..
Bang for your buck doesn’t mean budget. It emphasises on value the car provides for the money ur paying.
It means it's value for money. A creta is also expensive for some people you know

Bang for your buck emphasises on how good a product is for the money you are paying. It has nothing to do with the budget. And in the case of the M340i, it definitely is a bang for your buck. No car under 70 lakhs provides the same level of performance as the M340i.
Nothing quite like the legendary B58. The M340i will make a very appealing preworshipped car. Most would want to save money and get themselves a regular 3.
80 lakh in India and 50 lakh in US (after full customization) 😂😂

I find it interesting that you’ll barely mention any negatives of the car.
Do you truly believe the infotainment is intuitive to use, with everything now shoved into menus and sub-menus in lieu of buttons that could be hard-coded to your preferred functions?
Do you truly believe it sounds “insane” when sound is pumped into the cabin via speakers? The stock exhaust on this LCI is more muted than a church-goer on Sunday. If this is insane, the earliest versions of the car (circa 2020) surely count as orgasmic.
I’m also not certain that the ground clearance number quoted is correct. I’ve taken it for long drives over horrible roads in Bombay, and it’s not scraped once anywhere over mountainous speed breakers, with 3-4 people aboard. That was a pleasant surprise.
I’m all for effusive praise where praise is due, but please don’t suspend objectivity in the face of enthusiasm. Bring both sides of the coin to the fore.
125 mm is the GC mentioned in the video. If not how much is it?
@@thurules BMW hasn’t shared an official number, but I’m dead certain it’s more than 125. I took it over ginormous speed breakers on Kurla’s LBS road, near Phoenix Market City (if you’re familiar with Bombay).
My 328i (lowered to about 140-145 mm) scrapes on some of them. The 340i didn’t , even with passengers on board. I still don’t know how.
So yeah, I’d say it’s closer to 140-ish mm. And only the very worst speed breakers will catch out the 340i
@@karankarayi ok, how about the ride quality and suspension. Is it too much stiff that it gets uncomfortable for people sitting at the back?
@@thurules I’m sorry man, I haven’t sat in the rear. Only driven her. So don’t have an understanding of how it is in the rear seat.
But from the driver’s seat, I didn’t find it too firm at all. The compliance is good, ride quality was more than acceptable IMO, especially given it rides on 19s. It is 100% good enough to be a daily driver. It’s not like you have to tolerate the suspension as a trade-off for that engine. It’s fine, it’s comfortable enough in my books.
That said, you absolutely have to slow down for bad patches of roads or potholes. Those low profile tyres won’t take hitting one of them at speed very well.
Get an suv if you want ground clearance, stop whining for more ground clearance from a sports sedan.
They have nailed it perfectly with this M3. Its great on manners yet being really practical and Ideal for some spirited driving

The HP did not change. The difference in the two horsepower numbers is with and without the mild hybrid system.
The added weight of the mild hybrid battery, keeps the car stuck to the ground better without losing any performance, plus better mileage. Only downside the exhaust doesn’t sound that aggressive anymore.

@@Rey.54 I think insurance will count that as a mod. They’ve already doubled my insurance in one go citing Russia Ukraine war and still giving the pandemic as an excuse.
@@skar9975 yeah it will be a mod the only thing u can do tho if u want to keep it underwarranty would be the M perfomance exhaust which costs approx 3 Lakhs which is a bit steep for an axleback exhaust not even a full system. The car's sound does get a little bit louder and it sounds deeper and the exhaust bangs occasionally but it doesnt burble and sound as good as the pre lci. That damn opf is really a pain

I agree that the ‘normal’ 3 series is getting a little too expensive but this? I don’t think this is overpriced at all. Expensive yes, but you get a ton of car for the money

@@damnnnbruhhh there's a valve switch provided by akrapovic which can be opened and closed with the click of a button, just like valvetronic exhaust....Hence, u can just switch off the valves when riding in city

The B58 motor is a tried and trusted platform in the UK. The smoothness is impressive, If it was a V6 it would be even better but they got it perfectly with straight 6
Inline 6 are technically smoothest engine layout

I own a g30 530d,recently took a test drive in the m340i...apart from the exhaust sound i din't feel as a worthy upgrade.
That would be a downgrade....
Quick performer, all day liveablility and sports car performance, doesn't that sound like the M3 😅.
Although the noise is much more fabricated than straight through the exhausts.

Its all about the driving experience. Not about fuel efficiency. At that price range, a luxury brand is about driving pleasure.
But what is the use of that driving dynamics if there is not adequate power to enjoy the same fully

Is it really though? I was having the same thought.....because the U.S website says that it still generates 382 horsepower, but the Indian bmw website says 374 horsepower i don't think they included the power the 48 volt mild hybrid system gives. I had seen a race between the 2 of these cars on RUclips but the potato had a honda city spoiler on his 2023 LCI which caused drag I don't know if that's the reason he lost or not tho. But if anyone knows the actual power figures tell me im confused
